This is one of the best GLP 1 apps that I have used. It wants to assist you without screaming show me a wallet, show me your wallet. I like this app, it works well for me, it does everything I need. I can log my food, I can log my shots. I can log my weight I can log my side effects. I can review it and I can have my doctor look at it too

Quick and easy to use

As advertised. Good for weight loss and general health.

False/misleading advertising, poor communication, and all-over-the-place compounding are the reasons for my 1 star review.

Be advised: Gala will ONLY prescribe you the minimum dose—even if you are on the upper limit of a healthy BMI. Although Gala claims it would adjust medication levels to get patients to their goal weight, this isn’t necessarily the case. I have PCOS and eat healthy, so microdosing tirzepatide doesn’t work for me. I’ve plateaued for months (even gained a few pounds back), but Gala won’t adjust my dose. I have gotten the run-around for months until one of their doctors told me it’s Gala’s policy to microdose anyone with “healthy” BMI, even if they have 10 pounds to go to reach their goal weight (which for me is squarely in the healthy range).

Also, the compounding pharmacy they switched to no longer provides the same quality tirzepatide the previous pharmacy provided. Not only that, the options for what they compound with have diminished. The needles the new pharmacy provides seem cheaper and somewhat dull, so it hurts a lot more. Every refill, you never know what you’re going to get. Sometimes it’s carnatine (which creates a fishy smell in your body as it breaks down—gross), or sometimes it’s synthetic B-12 (which is a cheap version of B-12 that not everyone can even metabolize). Really NOT pleased with the Link pharmacy—I think Gala is just scraping the barrel with the cheapest provider they can find.

They have a nice app and seemingly good customer service, but the doctors never review the information you put into the app, so it’s sort of not worth the effort. And Gala used to be one of the cheaper options, but now other companies offer tirzepatide for less.

Basically, don’t advertise that you will adjust medication doses to help someone reach their goal weight if you won’t actually do that. It’s a lot to pay for microdosed GLP-1.

Good app but the fact they make me review frequently sucks

I read great reviews on Gala. I was looking to switch from a current provider who has raised their pricing substantially on meds due to a change in pharmacy. I filled out questionaires that asked for my current medications to include dosage. I did that. What was sent to me was a lower dose than what I have been on for the last 4 months. No attempt to reach me for any sort of verification. No disclosure that they were selling me "less" than what I'm currently on. No upfront explanation of what their plan was. In essence, I got less for the money. I think they need to be very careful about sending and prescribing incorrect dosing without any telemed consultation or verification. They are just selling medication without checking in on the patient. This should be a red flag to anyone. I reached out to them. And their reply was "I see. We understand the gap in communication here and we appreciate the feedback." Maylin - Gala. No further attemp was made to correct this. Period.

Was told that it would be 179 a month then told they wouldn't fill my prescription since they don't do 15 mg. I was told "the $179 charged on July 9 was your first plan charge, and no medication was ever shipped. That said, our refund policy doesn't cover that first charge when treatment was offered and declined (yours wasn't a medical disqualification), so I'm not able to refund it. I want to be straight with you about that rather than leave you guessing.

One thing I can do right now: your plan is set to renew at $399 on August 9. Want me to cancel it so you aren't charged again?" do not go through them!

Wonderful easy to use and fast service ! Love the care they give

I wasn't sure how much an app could actually help, but this one is surprisingly user-friendly. Everything's super straightforward and I’m really liking the experience so far.

I decided to switch from the hrt clinic I was going to in person because I thought gala would be simpler. Order online arrived at your door bam and done. So not the case. Like I said I had already been on the estradiol patch for some time so when they prescribed me was under I immediately contacted support to stop because using a lower dose would do nothing. They assured me they’d get the message to the provider. I told them if the mg is less than what I’m already taking just cancel. There’s no point. They assured me it was with the provider. I waited and got the shipping notification. They still did not tell me the dosage of the patch. I then asked about the shipping process because I do live in Arizona. They said oh we just ship it in regular mail. Yesterday a little after 4 the package arrived it was 109. The progesterone was melted together I sent pictures I immediately contacted support. The patch was the lower dose that was useless. They then continued to give me the runaround. Today they said we can’t refund you because we already sent out the medication. This company is a scam

A little more expensive than I thought for the three month plan. I would’ve done the three month plan. Had it been $179 each month.

Gala is very easy to use. The price is great and the drs are very friendly and care about how you feel and your needs.
