GAIA Filters was created with one simple belief: Better water leads to better health. The water you shower in every day should support your wellbeing, not work against it. Yet modern water systems often contain chlorine, heavy metals, and other impurities that can contribute to dry skin, irritation, and dull hair. That belief is why GAIA Filters exists. We specialise in premium shower filters designed to reduce chlorine and common contaminants found in household water, helping support healthier skin, stronger hair, and overall wellbeing. GAIA Filters help minimise exposure to these substances, transforming everyday showers into a cleaner, more refreshing experience. Our filters combine high-performance water filtration with elegant, minimalist design, making them easy to install and suitable for most homes. Every GAIA filter is built using carefully selected materials and tested to meet high performance standards. Our goal is simple: practical solutions that fit seamlessly into daily life. Today, thousands of customers use GAIA Filters to improve the quality of the water they shower in every day. We’re not here to change your routine, we’re here to improve the one you already have. Hi Anju,
Thank you for such a great review, we really appreciate it!
It’s brilliant to hear the Gaia shower filter was easy to fit and that you’ve noticed a real change in your hair and skin. When you’re living with hard water, those improvements can make a big everyday difference.
We’re also glad the subscription is making replacements simple - that peace of mind is exactly why we set it up.
Thanks a lot again for recommending us.

The Gaia filter made a difference to my…hair
The Gaia filter made a difference to my hair after only one wash. I had moved to a hard water area and the water was making my hair turn green and start to snap. I'm delighted with the difference so far, even though I have only had the filter for a week. My hair feels so much softer and cleaner.

Hi Laura,
Thank you so much for sharing this.
Moving to a hard water area can really take a toll on your hair - from dryness and breakage to that green tinge that can happen with metal build-up. We’re so glad to hear the Gaia shower filter made a difference after just one wash and that your hair already feels softer and cleaner.
Filtering hard water in the shower can make a noticeable impact quickly, and it’s great that you’re seeing those results within the first week.
Thanks again for taking the time to leave a review, we really appreciate it. :)

Hi there,
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for sharing this.
Hearing that your son’s eczema improved within days of using the Gaia shower filter genuinely means more to us than we can say. Knowing that a simple change to your shower water has made that kind of difference for him is incredibly special.
Thank you for trusting us in your home, and for taking the time to recommend the filter. Testimonials like this remind us why we started Gaia in the first place.

Highly Recommend. Excellent product, service and customer service. I can't believe the difference this product has made to my hair in a short space of time. Definitely worth investing in. Easy to fit. I had an issue with the delivery that was outside their control and their customer service was excellent in resolving the issue.

Hi Kathy,
Thank you for such a thoughtful review.
We love hearing when someone can genuinely see and feel the difference in their hair after switching to the Gaia Shower Filter, especially in hard water areas where the damage can build up over time. When the change happens quickly, it really says it all.
Thank you as well for mentioning the delivery issue. While it was outside our control, we’ll always make sure our customers are well looked after and kept informed from start to finish.
We really appreciate the recommendation and your support!

Only wish I bought it sooner!!!
We live in Clare, and the water must not be treated at all here because it's incredibly harsh on everything, especially our skin. We notice everytime we go to a hotel or abroad how awful our own showers at home are on our skin and hair!
Since moving in to this house I've had constant dandruff and a rash on my chest just from showering.
After 2 showers with the Gaia the rash is gone and so is my dandruff. I can literally feel the difference in the water while in the shower. It's crazy!
My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner

Hi Luke,
Thank you for taking the time to share this - we seriously appreciate it!
Harsh water is a big issue in many parts of Ireland, and Clare is no exception. A lot of people only realise how much their shower water is affecting their skin and hair when they step away from it for a while.
It’s genuinely great to hear that after just a couple of showers with the Gaia shower filter, your rash and dandruff cleared up and that you can actually feel the difference in the water. That kind of feedback is exactly why we do what we do.
We’re really glad Gaia has helped improve your shower experience. Thanks so much again for your support.

Hi Emma,
Thanks so much for this - we really love hearing feedback like this.
Hard water can do serious damage over time, especially when it comes to dry skin and frizzy hair, so it’s brilliant to hear how much of a change you’ve noticed. Soft skin, healthier hair growth, and curls behaving again is exactly what we hope people experience.
Thanks again for sharing and for trusting Gaia.

Excellent product
II purchased the GAIA filter three months ago and was very sceptical at first but this filter delivers what it says and am so happy with the results. I purchased the adapter from GAIA but still needed extra room to attach the filter to the mixer tap on my bath. I went to my local hardware merchant and bought an adapter which did'nt cost very much and the filter fitted perfectly taking only a few minutes to fit. I noticed immediately my skin felt much softer and my hair felt healthier. My hairderesser noticed how less dry and healthier my hair was. I know the GAIA filter has made such a difference to the health of my hair and skin having used it for almost three months. The customer service is very helpful. I would highly recommend the GAIA filter

Unbelievable improvement in hair and skin all due to the Gaia filter. 👏👏👏👏💖
I am only using this filter about 3 weeks and I am astonished how my skin and hair have improved. I have white hair and it was going yellow from the water. My skin was so dry on my face too. It felt so dry and tight all over. I can't believe the difference already.

I like to support Irish businesses so…
I like to support Irish businesses so Gaia was an obvious choice when looking for a shower filter. It works pretty well, no complaints but the packaging could use some improvement, hence the 4 stars. My refill arrived today in what seemed like a black sack, the cardboard was damaged and dented and half open, and the filter itself was a bit dirty. It seems standards are slipping a bit.

Hi there,
Thanks for taking the time to share this and for supporting an Irish business - we really appreciate it. We’re glad to hear the filter itself is working well for you.
We’re sorry to hear about the condition of the packaging on your refill. That’s not the experience we aim to deliver, and we’ll be reviewing this with our fulfilment partner to make sure standards remain high. If the filter arrived marked in any way, our customer service team would be more than happy to help - just reach out.
Thanks again for the honest feedback.

My shower is too close to the wall to fit, it should not be sold without the “adapter “ as most showers are the same !!
I’ve now purchased the adapter In the hope when it arrives it works if not I’ll be returning for a full refund !!

Odpowiedź od GAIA Filters
Hi Rosie,
Thanks for sharing your feedback. Our filter is designed to fit standard ½-inch shower connections, but when a thermostat or outlet is positioned very close to the wall, an adaptor can be required to allow enough clearance. This isn’t the case for most installations, which is why the adaptor is offered as an optional add-on rather than included as standard.
We hope the adaptor resolves this for you once it arrives. We’re always here to help get things working smoothly.

Finally an answer to blondes with green tint 😆
I finally can put a brush through my hair and the colour is not green , the water is high in copper in my area which reacts with salt in filters so after years I can finally say I have found the answer to my problem. Will tell every blonde in my town about this amazing filter and extra plus ...it's Irish !!😁
