Misleading Company.
Ordered two ceiling lamps. One was defective and not as described. Their website says: "At the moment, we ship exclusively within Ireland to ensure the best possible local experience. " However, it came directly from China, was dented, and was the wrong light. When I asked for a refund, although they were cordial and got back to me quickly, they strongly encouraged me to accept a 20% then 30% refund and not to ship it back because:
"When returning to our international warehouse:
• The customer is responsible for covering the return shipping costs
• In some cases, customs duties or import charges may also apply and would need to be paid by the customer
• The package may become delayed in customs clearance until any required charges are paid
• The refund can only be processed once the package has been delivered to and inspected by our warehouse
• International returns can unfortunately be time consuming, complicated, and in rare cases may experience delays or issues during transit
• Items must be returned in unused condition"
This is NOT a simple returns process as they claim on their website. Furthermore, because the product was incorrect and dented, they should have covered return costs. This is not a local company. They ship in cheap products from China and make it impossible to actually return.
