Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I can see that you submitted your claim on 19/09/2020 and the claims team contacted you the same day requesting the proof of purchase.
As the claims team are not open on Sundays if you have sent your proof of purchase in since your call with them they will be working through the emails over the next 2 days.

This is getting to be a bad joke now
This is getting to be a bad joke now. my Husbands phone broke two weeks ago today. the only email i have received is from E: Direct Group on behalf of Supercover: Insurance Claim: 2155880 which is not my claim number????? I've sent documents to these people, do they even have anything to do with Gadget cover?
I am totally beyond stresses. we cant afford to buy another phone and to honest why should we.
my husband works from 6am till 7pm and i have no way of getting in touch with him.
sort this out please
Have spent the whole day trying to call no joy.

Absolutely terrible company
Absolutely terrible company, will not use again and would recommend you avoid at all costs.
My phone suffered accidental damage and was replaced with a refurbished phone through the insurance... The refurbished replacement phone was faulty so I had to send it back and receive a new refurbished phone. This happened multiple times as I was sent MULTIPLE faulty refurbished phones, despite their "black-belt testing". These issues were major phone functioning issues including battery life and sound recording/phone call functions. I was without a working phone for weeks - causing major disruption and I can't even begin to total up how many hours I spent on the phone with them and emailing. They even resent me the first faulty phone (as a replacement for the second faulty phone) after receiving it and claiming they had tested it and it was not faulty (despite me showing evidence of the fault)...
EVENTUALLY I finally got an Argos voucher to buy a new phone instead of more refurbished phones being sent to me. Due to my policy they had to provide me with a phone which was of equal spec or higher. My iPhone storage size model was not made anymore - therefore they HAD to give me one with a higher storage, which was inevitably more expensive than my original phone, but that was what was written in the policy. (This bit is important - I did not request larger storage, it was something that was necessary as my insured original phone storage size was no longer manufactured and they had failed to provide me with a refurbed one).
When I called to complain about my experience and request at least a partial refund for the time and hassle they had caused me, the staff were incredibly rude. I was told that my "refund" was the fact that I got a new phone with better spec (more storage)... They claimed that this was compensation and a gesture of good will... even though the only reason I had higher storage was because they were obliged to provide me with this as it was in my policy. I was in no way compensated for my time, the hassle or the rudeness. It got to the point where it was causing me too much stress & anxiety to fight any longer, so I left it.
Will never use this company again, I would recommend you avoid at all costs.

Claimed for the first time this week…
Claimed for the first time this week and have had quick correspondence throughout. I was emailed the following day requesting proof of purchase, which I sent through and received another email 1 day later to confirm next steps. Spoke with a lady on the phone to pay excess - she was very helpful as I had a few issues removing from iCloud (my own fault.)
Claim gone through very smoothly so far - phone has been posted today so hopefully the repair goes as smoothly as the process so far.
Thanks very much - will definitely recommend!

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs, they hardly ever reply maybe 1 email for every 10 you send, taken over 2 weeks so far with my claim and still not sorted asked for complaints details numerous times but they arent interested,

Poor comms left me confused about cover.
I don't like leaving average reviews without first speaking to someone but not had chance with Gadget Cover. I purchased phone insurance last night but have had no email to confirm details and/or all ok. That's not satisfactory in my view. I wondered if reason for no email was because I set up an account but all I can see in my account is personal data. Absolutely nothing in there about my phone, my cover or my account number. Totally weird. And again completely unsatisfactory guys.

I can see that your policy was set up at 22:09 and the Welcome Pack emailed at 22:10. Please could you check your spam/junk folder to confirm if it has slid into there? I have also resent the email now. If you have not received by the time you read this reply please call us on 203 794 9294 and one of the customer service agents will be able to send this a different way.
With regards to our website this is is a work in progress. Currently as you confirmed you are only able to see your personal details and start a claim. We hope in the near future to be able to display current policies and details on there.

OOPS GADGET INSURANCE.really bad ..says can start making claims straight away . un fortunately made a claims 5 days into cover .took all my details said I had to go through broker .just over a week later .came back to say phone over 60 days old and can't make a claim for 14 days .asked for a refund ..they don't give refunds even though they state 14 days cooling off..id rate them as terrible.waste of money.going to report to insurance ombudsman..EMAIL AS PROOF..as requested JASON been no help what so ever just left with ne explanation
