The Issue:

You’re deep in the throes of code creation, your fingers dancing across the keyboard like caffeinated spiders. You’re crafting a masterpiece—a symphony of logic and syntax. And then it happens. You reach for that innocent-looking bracket key, blissfully unaware of the impending doom. You press it, expecting its counterpart to magically appear. But no! The universe scoffs at your naivety. The other bracket remains aloof, distant, and unyielding.

The Consequences:

Chaos ensues. Your code unravels like a poorly knitted scarf. Functions collide, variables weep, and loops spiral into existential crises. The compiler, once your loyal companion, now mocks you with cryptic error messages. Your screen flickers, and the ghost of Alan Turing himself appears, shaking his head in disapproval.

My son has been going to Fuze workshops for some time and always comes home having thoroughly enjoyed his day. He's getting a real feel for what happens behind the screen!

Brilliant - 10 year old son absolutely loves it and he is normally sports mad, been back a few times already and will always try to slot in when they have space !

Fuze has cultivated a love of coding in both of my children. Their approach is flexible and child centred. My 2 bright autistic kids have been accommodated and inspired and are now coding at home on their switches and can’t wait for their next Fuze day. We are delighted to find a club that can teach and develop them using what they love to push them further than school can.

Brilliant set up. My 9 year old son loves it there and he is definitely learning new skills as well as having fun.

Great Experience, the staff members were helpful and made it so I felt welcome even though it my first time.

Fuze Basic brings back the ease and usability of programming that my Dad talks about when he was a kid without having to use Blocks.

It was nice how we did everything as a group.

We were using Nintendo Switch's but Fuze Basic is also available on Windows, Linux and Raspberry PI so I can use what I learned on lots of different machines around the house.

I am already trying to talk my parents into booking another session, the only issue is that we live too far away to make this a regular activity. If this was available as a Virtual Classroom it would be perfect for me.

FUZE brought their coding workshops to recent Big Bang events (aimed at 11-14-year-old students).

It is always a high-quality and engaging activity, enjoyed by all! The team is a pleasure to work with and delivers the workshops to a high standard. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a coding activity.

Year 5 Barley Hill thoroughly enjoyed the coding workshop at Fuze. Dave was such an engaging and enthusiastic teacher, which ensured that every child was able to learn and enjoy coding.
The fact the Fuze Centre was so well equipped and used the Nintendo Switch had the children hooked before they’d even begun. The children could not stop talking about their experience there.
In just an hour long session, the children learned, and put into practice the key principles of coding. More importantly, they gained confidence in, and enjoyment of coding.
We all had such fun and can not wait to build on our new skills. Thank you Fuze, we can not wait to return.

We have been using Fuze for a number of years now (we are an independent boys school, based in London). They deliver high-quality sessions for all ages with an emphasis on making coding fun and accessible. Boundless enthusiasm from David and his team and a high level of expertise. Sessions are perfectly pitched with a good challenge level for all. The students come away with a real enthusiasm for coding, thanks to the whole team at Fuze. I cannot recommend them enough and we look forward to the next visit. Superb!

Always been excited with the idea of coding my own game. FUZE is a fantastic product backed up by a superb community with direct access to the FUZE team, forums, Discord, GameJams, tutorial downloads, not to mention ease of sharing code & games with others. As a learner of any age it's important to have something that keeps you coming back, FUZE does that.

I have used resources from Fuze over the last few years while teaching coding and have always found them to be excellent. I was equally impressed by my recent visit to The Fuze Centre in Thame to attend an afternoon workshop for Year 6.
The Centre is centrally located, spacious and equipped with the latest kit for the children to use. The session was thoughtfully led, well paced and engaged every child fully throughout.
I would highly recommend these coding workshops.

Great fun and really educational - a Fuze workshop always resulted in one happy son at the end of the day who was keen to share his experiences (unlike at the end of a typical school day!). Would definitely recommend.

This is right up son son’s street !! He’s really into gaming and computers and this is absolutely perfect! Not only does he get to play on a gadget (all a 10year old wants to do) he’s actually learning skills.

My best coding experience by far is with fuze4 its so well done and fun to use I have had many hours of fun on this program!
