Great company to use to help with my study costs. A bit of a fiddly process with sending over pictures of proof of identity but only took a few hours to clear it all up. Great customer service.

I have an account for the last 2 years and I have nothing but good praises. Customer service team is very on point and shouts out to Sarah for helping with very query and question I had because I left the call feeling way more confident about my account issues. I would have to give 5 stars because with even through the application process their team had been so helpful to me I definitely would recommmend

I submitted an appilcation for finance. The application itself was so basic..... name, address and email address. Two minutes later, I got rejected. I emailed to ask why but got a standard 'smokescreen' response. I wouldn't touch these with a barge-pole!

After a very difficult process of sending my proof of identity documents I was glad to hear the payment in full for my course was processed and i received the full first instslment for my maintenance loan. Very glad I chose this route for learning grant to stsrt my career path in data management.

Easy to make application for funding to study. Kept u-to-date throughout process

I'm self employed and have been unable to get work due to covid and had no support from the government. I recieved an email with a banner reading 'We're here to support you'. In it they claimed to be able to help if you were struggling with repayments and urged me to get in touch with them if I needed support. When I did I got a generic auto response telling me to fill in a form on the website. When I went to fill in the form it turned out that, like many banks, they will still be charging interest during any payment holidays. So rather than support, they are profiting from the global pandemic. I try to be sensible with money and times are tight at the moment so there's no way I want to incur more debt if I can help it. I emailed to ask if there was anything else they could do and I recieved a flippant and rude email in response. Then they tried to take money out of my account even though I had reached out to them for help and that hadn't been resolved. I recieved a email threatening to get in touch with my guarantor and telling me my credit rating would be impacted. It also contained account details to make my payment which differed from the ones I had on record. I emailed back to complain about their rude customer service, to point out they were profiting from a global pandemic which is already destroying people's livelihoods and to ask for clarification of the account number. I emailed another 2 times since then and I got an email saying someone had tried to call but didn't have an up to date number. I gave them my number but recieved no call. I sent a follow up email and still nothing. Then yesterday I got a response to my initial complaint which neither acknowledged anything I said nor apologised. It simply said 'once you have made your payment if you still want to take a payment break you must fill out the form we sent you asap' (they have never sent me a form) and detailing a payment reduction scheme that will involve me paying even more money to them. The customer service is beyond atrocious. Emails are either responded to with rudeness or generic copy paste jobs of tangential information. The responses are so late that I have normally sent several follow ups emails in the intervening time and the responses are from multiple different people so its impossible to keep track of. Basically they just want my money and are not prepared to listen to me or even answer my questions. Also their interest rates aren't competitive. I would avoid this company of greedy bullies at all cost. There are better career development loans available and their customer service is not just inadequate, it is offensive.

Speedy application and approval, however should be more clear payments are spread, if I had known this I would not have taken the loan.

Really quick at approving my loan, once it was approved j reicved my first payment the next working day. Its also got a really good support line for if you make a mistake.

I was so very surprised how easy it was for me to apply and be accepted for a student loan with a stable credit score.

It took 6 working days to upload requested documents to you in order for my student loan application to proceed. I had problems doing that on my phone & laptop. Eventually I had to send those documents to your finance team by email.

That was a very disappointing experience.

Instant decision making good for progress
