Fusion in San Rafael has proven to give out child one of the greatest experiences not only making her feel welcome and giving her the friendly educational environment, but The entire faculty has taken on a creative and unique way to allow her to adapt from China into the USA.

I am impressed by the care and attention everyone at Fusion has made to evaluate and implement courses that give our daughter the attention and time so needed to see her blossom.

My daughter finished the second semester of 8th grade at virtually at home using google classroom. This choice was due to social issues at school significantly impacting my daughter’s physical and mental health. Math was difficult without instruction, and she also needed some help with science. I purchased 7 virtual tutoring sessions with Fusion. The tutor was excellent! My daughter could not have continued to learn math at home without him!

We’ve had an awesome experience at Fusion. We have been thoroughly impressed with the administration and teaching staff. Our daughter is thriving in math due to the confidence that one on one learning has provided.

Fusion has been an absolute dream for our son. He is thriving, happy and looks forward to going to school every single day. The teachers are so incredibly kind, supportive and encouraging. They guide in all the right directions, allowing our son to find his own answers, make the right choices; and they push in right where he needs to be pushed so that he grows and is challenged every single day. We are thrilled to be a part of Fusion!

My son got an F in math in 10th grade during COVID - he has ADHD, never turned in any homework (he got an 80% on the final test). He is an extravert and learns best when talking things through. He retook the class with Fusion in the summer and had a wonderful teacher (thank you Matthew in New York!). He got an A! Ended up skipping pre-calc and is now doing well in his Calculus class.

My journey with Fusion has been a long one- 4.5 years to be exact. It all started when we first discovered the school and met the Head of School. Me and my mom both met with him at least 4-6 times and everything sounded so promising for my school to-be, let alone my entire educational future. Finally, I got to do a shadow. I would be shadowing two classes and a couple hours in the Homework Cafes. My shadow time was scheduled to be over at around 2pm, however I texted my mom to ask her if it would be ok if I stayed and extra three hours. I told her that the time I had spent there had " literally been the first time in five years I had smiled so much and laughed so hard. I instantly felt the vibe of not a school, but all types of students united together in a learning community dedicated to helping each other".

After that, me and my mom found out that we would need to sue the district in order for me to land a secure spot there for the next few years. This was absolutely devastating news for me since I knew there was also a high chance that they would not end up paying for it and I would never have the chance to truly immerse myself in such a wonderful community of others my age and finally belong somewhere while I learn fascinating skills I couldn't have known on my own, let alone with people that support me and don't mind changing things up.

And so, my journey began; to fight for somewhere I knew would give me support, acceptance, help, knowledge and lots of laughs, a place I could truly flourish and grow into a spectacular person- someone I never could have dreamed into reality.

For the next 3.5-4 years, Me and my mom worked very diligently and hard to prove this was worth it; that it was worth the legally due money they owed me for many past issues, and the District fought back- hard. I will be honest and say that there was a part during this time that both me and my mom lost almost every once of hope we ever had for battling this war successfully., In fact, we were feeling so defeated, my mom finally hired an attorney, which took us into an official Due Process Legal Case.

During our legal educational conflict, the district made compelling and completely inaccurate statements, reports, forms, and evidences, that in turn, did more than just oppose my mom and I.

After three years over what should have been, we had finally won. In our contract, the district had agreed to paying for up to 2.5-3 years at Fusion plus set money aside for other needed services as well.

I was so overjoyed at the thought of finally getting a chance to prove I deserve a future with big dreams and passions., and now, thanks to my magical school at last I get to have that.

Every single person at Fusion is simply amazing . There are so many positive descriptive words out there, yet none of them truly do the justice the place deserves. Not only are the teachers and staff completely understanding and supportive, but the other students are as well. It gives everyone a chance to be fully immersed in a positive and kind environment so they can make friends and feel like they are not alone and matter. These people are so caring and I'm extremely lucky to have the opportunity to spread my wings and shine!

I really cannot thank everyone enough for just being such wonderfully good people. No matter what I say, there are simply no words that honestly give you all realistic justice to the work you do to change so many kids' lives and put them on a path of enlightenment. I really truly appreciate everything you have done for every single student on Campus. I am so happy we get to learn together!

Our child has been at Fusion Academy Marin campus for over a year. It has been a wonderful experience both virtually and in person. The staff truly care about the students and want to help them succeed. Our son thrived through the pandemic because of how well Fusion had pivoted towards online learning just prior to the pandemic (what timing!). He chose to continue at Fusion for another year because he enjoys it so much. As parents, we no longer have struggles with crazy nightly homework loads (all homework is completed during the day). Daily summaries from each class let us know where he might be struggling and where he is thriving. Our son clearly has a better understanding of who he is and where he wants to go from being at Fusion.

My son had an amazing experience at Fusion this summer! His Algebra tutor, Jack, was very supportive of my son's learning needs and helped him to understand the foundations of Algebra before starting school in the fall. We wish he could attend Fusion during the school year, but at least we know there will be opportunities for him to attend for tutoring.
