Wish I had read the reviews before ordering.
Ordered a sofa, as delivery stated 2 white gloved delivery and assembly, done the 24/7 chat.... turns out its NOT 24/7 chat, sent a message at 2am (as it stated 24/7) didn't get a responce untill 15.00 (3pm) they wanted to charge me a extra £100 for the sofa just for assembly.
They do not assemble, apparently that has been added on the delivery company site, yet it states on there website assembly.
The person that did finally get in touch with me was rude from the start, got worse when I asked for proof they charge for assembly, after me sending them proof it is on the website.
They ended up cancelling my order from there end.
Glad they did cancel, they don't appear to be a very nice company to deal with.
I would avoid.

Paid for 2 x sofas in full and they closed the business down before the planned delivery date.
No contact to say they planned closing, no refund offered. I found out from their website *which has now been deleted.
Fortunately PayPal refunded me in full. It was a stressful 2 weeks waiting to see if I would be refunded or lose my money.
I understand businesses close down, but they could have called!

AVOID
Item was in stock on the website when I ordered. When I emailed and asked when it was going to be delivered I was told I had to wait 4 weeks for it to come into stock and then another 2 weeks for delivery. I decided to wait as I really wanted the chair. After 4 weeks I asked for confirmation that it was in stock and was told it was and I would be notified of a delivery date. No notification came so I emailed again to be told they couldn’t fulfil my order and to give my bank details and they would refund me. I gave my details and I was ignored.
Luckily I paid through PayPal and have made a case and will be refunded. Although Furniture direct have not responded to PayPal so I have to wait.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Very well made.
Problem was that it took four hours to erect, it would have been much easier if the pieces of wood had numbers on them as described in the instructions, also an electric screwdriver is required not a hand held one.
Looked very nice and is sturdy once finished.

Communication is poor. Delivery time is far too long. Stated up to three months, took five months with having to chase all the time. Payment was taken immediately on ordering, so the company had our money for five months. The sofa eventually arrived and was well packaged.

Really good product and v quick to deliver.

We purchased 3 items from there website , showing as in stock , 14 day delivery

Ordered first week in June 2026 - now coming to the end of September and still no items .

Ajaz has promised us many delivery dates , these come and go , we asked for a full refund last week , told he would process immediately and 3-5 days funds would be back in my account . Since then , no refund and no further contact , no reply to PayPal escalation. . Simply ignored

To add further insult , we went to a local furniture shop last week and managed to get 3 identical items that were delivered on Monday . So much for the manufacture not having any stocks

False promises , zero stocks , unhelpful and then ignored . No doubt PayPal will refund in good time

Kept informed of the date and time of delivery.
Staff were very helpful, and furniture positioned in the room for the customer to inspect before sign off.

All was wonderful except the item was extremely difficult for me to unpack. An option to have this done by your courier would have made this experience perfect.

Great quality furniture for a reasonable price. Particularly impressed with the advice and messages prior to delivery which did make a difference to my order and ensured that I got exactly what I was expecting

Once again a great service from Ajaz. He arranged for a fabric Swatch from manufacturer. I contacted him by email, instant answer to my further questions, I purchased a sofa online. A great price, further offer was avail. that day, arranged free delivery, was contacted with date to suit, was delivered very quickly. Very pleased with purchase. Will continue to use Ajaz at Furniture Direct, he was very helpful with all queries, thanks.

No indication of delivery date from the supplier.

So normally I would be cautious of a company whose website ends in dot net rather than dot com or co.uk. However, all of the contact details of this genuine Leicestershire business were clear to see. When you email or call them they answer pretty quickly and you get a real person at the other end from the company. When I ordered my bed they were concerned that some of the manufacturers images showed slight variation in colour. They contacted me to double check and provided other images before going ahead. This was fine, it delayed my order by a few days but the manufacturer still just about got the bed out within 3 weeks. The company chased this for me and use Arrow XL as a courier, they were excellent and delivery was included in the price. The same bed was available via Dunhelm but £80-90 more expensive. I am very pleased with my new bed and the service we received, plus the pricing could not be beaten. I trusted this company and they did not let me down.

If I could I’d leave no stars. I ordered 2 pieces of furniture from this company who took the payment (in part). Then received an email to say there was a delay on delivering the product. I could not wait for the delivery date they had stated so opted to cancel the order. I was informed I would receive a refund 3-5days. Refund has not shown in my account and emails not replied to. Went onto their site to chat with the owner through live chat and was closed down by the owner. I will be taking this further in the meantime my advise would be to avoid this company if you don’t want to be robbed and lied to
