I’m not at all surprised to see the terrible reviews here, looks like others received the same awful service I did. I chose to order from Furniture Island because of how quickly they could deliver but when the date came for my delivery it was cancelled at the last minute with no explanation. Arranging a new date was like pulling teeth and then when the second date came they cancelled AGAIN. I was repeatedly promised I’d be called back but it never happened, I had to really keep on at them to get another delivery date. When it was finally delivered the drivers who dropped it off were late and very rude. The sofa itself is fine, not amazing, and definitely but not worth the headache to get it. Do yourself a favour and buy your sofa elsewhere.

The worst company in the world. Jokes. Terrible customer services, no duty of care to the purchaser. Sickening.

What a horrendous decision one made to go with this company for my sofa. I think we can all agree we only require two things from a sofa company and that's to receive the sofa on time and to sit comfortably. Let me tell you my woes and I guarantee it too will be your woes if you buy from Furniture Island. My sofa was late and their customer service was a pain in my backside. Now you will not be shocked to hear... their sofa was also a pain for backside and my back is aching like I've just turned into a 93 year old OAP.

Now don't get me wrong I'm not just going to bash this company, they did one thing great. They appropriately named their company better than anybody I've ever seen. Furniture island fits them perfectly as their furniture should be on an island... A desert island where nobody can find their terrible sofas. Useless.

Absolutely love my bed!! Great customer service and the time frame given for my bed to be delivered and assembled was exact. They guys put up the bed in about 20mins (could’ve been less) Everyone has commented on the quality and how amazing it looks! Thanks so much to Furniture Island!!!

Avoid this company. Extremely poor customer service and fail to deliver on time. Avoid at all costs.

Found the exact sofa I had been looking for at this company, with quicker delivery time and a fraction of a cost., Sales lady was great and very helpful and sofa was delivered in time specified. Highly recommend Furniture Island.

If I could give them zero stars I would. You should 100% purchase furniture from these guys if you want to receive a completely different couch to the one you chose, months after you have ordered it.

This could be fun if you want a surprise couch to arrive at a random time in your not so near future, whatever floats your boat.

Furniture island should go put themselves on an island and stay there so no one ever has to see their scammy faces again.

Amazing service from the sales person in surrey quays gave me all the correct details and was promised to be delivered within 14 days it was delivered within 7 the delivery guys was polite and friendly the sofas I got was the dior 3+2 in grey I love it so much I be coming back if I need anything else and be telling my friends about furniture island thank again guys

Absolutely disgraceful service. I have never experienced such awful customer service in my life. I ordered a sofa from them via their salesman Ray who told me I’d have it delivered within 10 days. This was at the end of September and now in the middle of January I STILL do not have my correct order. After multiple deliveries, days off work to wait in for it, numerous phone calls to their office they have still failed to deliver the item I ordered. I’ve had their delivery men hang up on me and ignore my phone calls after waiting home all day for them. I’ve spoken to a rude girl at their office multiple times who’s unable to help with anything and most definitely could do with some customer service training. I’ve just about gotten an apology from them via WhatsApp but that’s it. I strongly advise everyone to not order anything from this company. They’re very dodgy and from my experience, the service is appalling. I’m now having to keep the item they’ve delivered, which isn’t the item I ordered but I can’t bring myself to contact them once again. They’re fully aware of the situation but I never hear from them. Please save yourself from the stress and frustration and purchase your sofa from elsewhere.

Put deposit on a sofa from Romford mercury shopping centre and got the delivery within 7 days.. The service was really quick they called me next day for delivery and i choose the friday so i can clear out the space.. my experience was really smooth.. definitely recommend it to my mum and sister in law as they are looking for new furniture.. thanks

Product is good, but customer service on delivery day was poor. Driver was unprepared to take out old settee as agreed and I had to phone the office to confirm the request before this done.

i was recently re-decorating my house and when my friend told me about this shop I had to check it out.
I was shopping for a nice-looking couch that was cheap and when I looked at the site they had amazing prices.
I would recommend this shop and I hope you like it as well.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY...They are terrible and dont call you when they say they will call you, they confirm that your item is in the warehouse and has been for over a week but yet they cant get the item delivered to you as there are no couriers because of xmas….this is rubbish as after cancelling the order with these guys I went straight onto Ebay and found the exact same bed with mattress for £179 cheaper and with a 48hr courier turnaround!! This is not a real company and you get the impression they have very minimal staff working from home. They demand a deposit from you, ours was £100 yet they did not stick to their promises and what started off as a 4 item purchase dwindled down to nothing as one of the items they dont stock in grey and they tried to palm us off with a black item which we didn't want as the grey was discontinuted!!!! I dont believe a word they say. The sales guy promised us so much and also advised us that we had paid £30 extra for delivery for where we live and when speaking to the lady on the phone she said she is not responsible for their sales staff and what they say!!!! I know how bad is that and because of the sales guy promising us one thing yet we didn't get the service promised, she is telling me that its not their problem and therefore we lost our deposit of £100 when it was their fault with not having the right colour and not sticking to what the sales guy promised us either. HONESTLY they are not the cheapest and make sure you shop around when you visit this site, you will get the items cheaper elsewhere and with a quick and honest service too. Ebay is better than this tin pot company, they are thieves!

They kept me updated on everything and delivered everything on time delivery staff was very helpful the sofa is good quality and it was what I was looking for.

I’m very pleased with this service. I ordered a made to order bed with Furniture-Island. The bed looks amazing and true to pictures on the website. Will definitely recommend again. Overall, Customer service was very helpful and I will definitely order from here again.

Bought a sofa in surrey quays last month.. and got it delivered within 21 days.. i received the best service anyone can ask for.. the quality of florida recliners are very good and strong.. best purchase so far..

Don't trust them.
Writing another review as still heard nothing. They always claim they'll call you back then don't. When you call to ask why they haven't yet it's a hundred different excuses. Left it a week for them to phone back and they still didn't. Phoned today to find out if it would actually be delivered bht they Said they'd call me back and I said if they didn't then I would be calling them. Tried calling back and phone kept ringing but they then took the phone off the hook so they wouldn't have to answer and would go through to voicemail.
Dont trust them as they've been saying it will be delivered 'next week' for the past 4 weeks. Receptionist 'Ami' is so rude and speaks over you, doesn't let you ask questions or do anything. Puts you on hold then hangs up.
