My clients have repeatedly received unsolicited marketing emails from FundOnion Limited despite never engaging with them or requesting information. The emails are sent under the name of an individual who, according to Companies House records, resigned from the business several years ago, yet is still being presented as an officer of the company.

This kind of marketing is frustrating, disruptive, and does not inspire confidence in their professionalism or compliance. Attempts to unsubscribe and stop the messages have been unsuccessful.

If you value transparent, respectful, and lawful business practices, be cautious about engaging with FundOnion.

Thank you for your response. To clarify, I am not “mistaken.” I retain copies of unsolicited emails received from FundOnion, including headers and timestamps.

Under PECR Regulation 22, unsolicited marketing emails require prior consent, which was never given. An unsubscribe link does not cure the unlawful nature of these communications.

I note that you have provided a DPO contact email. I will therefore be submitting a Subject Access Request under Article 15 UK GDPR to establish the source of my data and your lawful basis for processing it.

This matter is also being reported to the ICO and Trading Standards with supporting evidence.

I'm extremely grateful to have come across these guys and Cobi was amazing. He'd secured exactly what I needed and with a great lender, it's a HUGE help for our family business and I really couldn't recommend them more! Thank you so much 🙏

I have dealt with FundOnion twice now to help secure business finance, and can honestly say they have been fantastic, and have help navigate a not so easy task, and made the whole process so much easier.
The last gentleman to help secure my finance was Archie Williams, if I could give him more than 5 stars I would. He went above and beyond, and secured finance far higher than my expectations. He was always on hand for any questions and constantly kept me updated throughout, and made the whole process stress free. I would highly recommend any business to use him, as you can see he is extremely motivated, and works hard to get result. Thanks Archie for all your help.

I'm also getting spammed by these people - read the regulations guys, you can't cold email us. Clearly scraped the emails from our website or Shopify app store/partners.

re; the below - this is simply not true. I own a digital agency and we specialise in marketing. The email address used has NEVER subscribed to anything so you have zero consent - not even a soft opt in.

This firm are spammers. Their Chief Commercial Officer and their CEO constantly spam me with funding emails: "Just making sure you've seen my previous email". Yes, and I ignored it because I'm not a business and you are a spammer. Opt-out is the fallback of spammers. If I'd wanted your emails I would have asked for them.

After so many reviews on this site slamming Fund Onion for spamming, obviously your CRM provider is lying to you. The email address you use for me has never been used, let alone opted in to anything, it is simply "info@" prepended to my domain name. It is plain that you do not wish to change your business practices, because doing it this way works for you and you calculate the benefit of sending spam outweighs the cost of a few bad reviews on trustpilot.

Received an unsolicited phone call and email from Fundonion, claiming that someone from my company had recently visited their website. This was the stated reason for their outreach regarding funding opportunities.

Skeptical, as I had no record of visiting their site, I inquired for more details about this alleged visit (specific time, IP address, etc.) to help "identify" the visitor. What followed was a frustrating exchange revealing Fundonion's highly questionable lead generation practices.

Initially, they claimed they didn't have the details but would check with marketing. They later provided a specific time (yesterday at 8:47 am) and an IP address (188.31.x.x), mentioning they use "GoTrack". However, upon checking my own records and network logs, the IP address provided was not mine, and my activity history for that specific date and time confirmed no visit whatsoever to the Fundonion website.

When confronted with this, they eventually stated they got my contact details from my public website (a plausible source for contact info, but irrelevant to their false claim of a visit).

This entire interaction demonstrates that Fundonion is using deceptive tactics to initiate contact. They appear to obtain contact information (likely from public sources or purchased lists) and then invent false claims of website visits to create a pretext for unsolicited sales outreach. Their inability to provide verifiable proof for their claims, and providing incorrect technical details, confirms their lack of transparency and reliance on misleading methods.

This wastes time and erodes trust immediately. Based on this experience, I strongly advise caution when dealing with Fundonion. Their approach is dishonest and unprofessional.

We took a loan with FundOnion and dealt with Shai, who is one of their Commercial Finance Broker's. Communication was brilliant, advice given was reliable, professional and friendly. Everything went through so easily and quickly. What a simple process. Thank you.

They arranged a business loan for us in quick time and on reasonable terms for the type of borrowing. Dealt with Archie who was extremely proactive and diligent in making the arrangements. I would recommend this Broker to others.

Tosan was an excellent companion on the way to securing our funding needs and he should and would come highly recommended.
