I have cleared my chalange then not give me funded account.

Please don't trust this platform; it's useless. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Guys so im about to buy this funding rock challenge so can anyone from you give me honest review about it because it takes months to pass the challenge and then if anything happens from their side all the hardwork will be gone .

My account was closed even though I wasn't in a loss.

8I am writing this detailed review as it might help other new traders.

I am a newbie to prop trading but I have experience watching the indices I trade and identified patterns and can see them when they are in play. This is my third week doing prop trading. ( I only heard about prop trading via a instagram advert 4 weeks ago. I wish I heard about prop firm teading atleast 4 years ago)

First of all, I liked the pay after you pass with just $5 and only 3% profit target account offered by funding rock which beats everyone in the industry.

I purchased 4 of those $100k accounts for $5 each to validate and tweak my strategy, passed it and funded 1 of them.

Then I made a good profit on first 2 days and blown it on 3rd day. Funded my 2nd account, made profit in the first day and blown it afterwards.

Currently I am on my 3rd funded account and currently sitting in 1st position in leaderboard.

What I learnt from blowing 2 funded accounts is to protect the account first and look for profit after. I have implemented the following for myself to protect the account. (self imposed)

The daily loss limit of $4K (EOD) offered by funding rock is very generous. It again beats most in the industry. So to protect my account, I have implemented a rule for my self that my loss making trades for the day (basically the risk we take) cannot exceed $2500 even if I am on net profit for the day to stop chasing losses and as well as taking unmanagable risk while on profit.

I also feel funding rock is not preying on trader failure to make challenge fee revenue and is a very responsible firm by offering 1:6 leverage on pay after you pass instead of 1:100 offered by many which is a recipie for disaster for new traders.

Buying power of 100k fundingrock account is actually £600K with leverage. If I use 25% of margin (150K buying power), maximum loss I can stomach on a index without breaching daily loss limit is 2.66% change on indwx. If I use 50% of the margin ( 300K buying power), it will be maximum 1.33% percent change on the index in opposite direction.

Now imagine, you have 1:100 leverage and buying power is 10 000 k. So even using 4% of the margin is dangerous with 1:100 leverage, a 1% sudden change in indice will cause 4K loss and blow the account.

Other positives
- Daily loss limit of 4k and maximum loss of 8k on funded 'pay after you pass account' is very generous too.
- There are no hidden rules or rules scatted all over the website. Documentation is very clear and AI agent can anwer any of those instantly as well.
- Customer support is great. Most of things instantly answered correctly by AI agent and if human response needed, they are very helpful as well as on time responses.

Payout
- I am not eligible for payout yet as I haven't reached the consistency level and also like any trader new to prop firm trading, I was anxious for my first payout. (It also played a part in taking unmanagable risks to blow 2 funded accounts as I didnt want to put effort for many days only not to receive payout). But having seen the trustpilot reviews (it is genuine, as it has some negative reviews too) and very importantly the leaderboard, I don't feel anxious anymore.

- I will update it once I am eligible and get my first payout.

Suggestions to fundingrock
As a newbie to prop firm trading, my first questions were 'Are these firms real?' , 'Do they really payout?', "Are they preying on failure'?. So if you want to attract more traders,

- May be make the leaderboard public. It definitely brings more trust and remove suspisions.
- May be change the consistency required for first payout to 30% or more and keep the subsequent ones at 15%. Easier path to get the first payout will encourage traders to join you when they are researching abd comparing prop firms
- And also for any business partnership to be sustainable for long period, it should be win-win for both parties (traders and you). So when you say profit split goes from 90% to 95% with just a $100 one time fee, it makes one wonder why would they want to lose 5% profit for just $100. (Then there are firms offering 100% profit, which made me scratch my head). So Explaining your revenue model if possible will showcase the win-win situation. For example, if you do copy trading of traders who are successful over longer period, explaining it will make them trust you and feel better. You are the ones providing such massive funding opporunity for us in the first place and making us feel my win is your win will be wonderful

The mobile trading platform is user-friendly.
