Expensive for literally just coming out to drain a tank and add some additives. The guy who came was pretty indifferent. Not the best roadside manner! Plus it did not take 1 hour to come as they claim on their website, but 4 hours!!! This is the main reason for the poor review.

I put unleaded in my Volvo last night and got home and wondered what to do.
Went onto internet to look for anybody who could drain the tank without hassle found this website and rang them this morning. Got a time price for the draining to take place. Was worried that the engine had been damaged. Needn’t have worried. The mechanic arrived before the due time. Emptied the tank. Filled up with diesel tried to start the car initially without success. He assured me that an additive was required to clean the system out. This he did lo and behold the car started. He knew what he was doing with great knowledge and expertise. Couldn’t be happier and would recommend them to anybody.

5 stars just isn't enough! Ryan was absolutely phenomenal at keeping my hopes alive when I thought I’d written off my old Volvo. He cranked and cranked and cranked the engine, and after the longest five minutes of my life—my fingers were crossed so tight they went numb :D—it finally roared back to life!

Starting the engine after a misfuel ought to be a separate service, because without Ryan’s unwavering support, I’d have given up long ago, convinced my vehicle was beyond saving.

Another company had quoted me £350, but Fuel Doctor was nearly half that and honest from start to finish.

Huge thanks as well to the call centre staff for providing a reassuring, honest service while I felt helpless and angry with myself.

I’m completely thrilled to have my Volvo back on the road, and I’d recommend Fuel Doctor to everybody. Their professionalism, compassion, and fair pricing truly saved the day—thank you for everything!

Jim was amazing. I phoned him and he was able to be with me just over an hour later, he gave me an indication of arrival time when I initially called, then called me back to say he was on his way and gave me a specific time for arrival. When he got to me, he set up straight away getting to work. I felt incredibly foolish but he offered me reassurance that it was going to be ok and we had a lovely chat while he emptied my tank. I don’t plan to make the same mistake again, but if I did I’d phone Jim first.

well here goes . hubby used my car , topped up with pertol - silly person !!! made a few calls to different rescue companys but prices way too stupid ! (350 - 500 £) i knew these companys took charge of 'panic modes' . but I wernt daft , i continued to trawl the net as i wernt in hurry to correct this (trust me, prices go up in accordance with your hypertension !) for the receord ... i drove approx 3 miles and car started to shudder, hubby knew then what he done , so i still drove 3 miles home.

I found this fuel doctor 247 (be aware they all look same !! ON INTERNET make sure you get the right one). Well what a fab guy i spoke with. we arranged a visit, told me who would be attending and rest is plain sailing . he turned up, smart, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, sorted my car within 30 mins . he were so reassuring and said we get you sorted and he did . cars running like a dream . ( prices we less than half of the above )
So i end this with .............. you would be silly to go elsewhere, these guys know there stuff and their prices are just not been met with . well done you guys , i highly recommend you

Dreadful driving by one of your vans on southbound M40 yesterday north of Banbury, swerved at high speed into a non existent gap at high speed in front of my car, causing me to take evasive action at 80mph. Total idiot.

I put nearly a full tank of unleaded into my diesel car without realising.
I called just after 7am 29/12/24.
The switchboard safe were great and assured me that they were to help but would be 1 hour and 30 minutes, no bad I was at a garage with a Costa machine.
Jim Cullen called and said how long he would be, he was really helpful and a godsend to see this morning, if you do do the same would highly recommend as I was about to phone the AA and was told they charge double.

Jim came out to recuse me in Stirling last night. I put unleaded fuel in my diesel car after a 12 hour shift, had no idea what to do but one call and he told me not to start the car. Said he’d be there in 30 minutes and he was. Sorted the car, was helpful and kind and not judgmental at all. I have his card. Hopefully I’ll never have to use his services again but if I ever do I’ll definitely be calling him and recommending to anyone who finds themselves in a similar unfortunate predicament. Thanks Jim for saving my engine and helping me get home safely.

I had a bad day, so I was carried away and i filled up my van with fuel instead of diesel.
I called Fuel Doctor for help and I was contacted by Jim for resolution.
Jim is such a friendly person with a word of encouragement assuring me that the van will work even with opening any fuel line.

My wife put petrol in her diesel Nissan Juke and we were left without our family car on the road.
Luckily the RAC sent Fuel Doctor and Mike Martin (South Birmingham Tec.) came to our rescue.
He was polite, professional and kept us informed throughout the process. Great guy, great firm.

Had to call the fuel doctor yesterday, Adrian (Norwich) arrived , he was professional , polite & explained every step. He could not have done anymore. I also had a follow up call from them , most impressed with the service I received, would certainly recommend the fuel doctor
