Great communication between owners & renters. Reasonable fees for the security & peace of mind! I have had 3 great experiences renting my equipment out.
For less than a typical 2 hour rental of an inflatable tandem kayak… the consumer can take mine for 24 hours! When I am not using it… it brings in $! And it is covered if there is an issue!
What’s not to love?

We rented a bike for the weekend. The price was great. We had a little trouble with the credit card/ address but everything was taken care of in 20 minutes,it didn't slow us down. It was a great service/app and I would definitely use it again.

Excellent service with easy process!!! Fast response ever! Electric bike with seat behind my 7yrs old son enjoyed ride comfortably. We had amazing 6days biking city of Toronto!

We rented a couple of bikes with child seats and had the most wonderful experience. Registration was super busy East and fast, and exceptional customer service (I had some questions re renting). Overall very pleased with the experience

I hope Friend With A gets enough ratings to show up high on Google search feeds. This is an excellent way to look for adventure gear in your area if you don't have it and want to check it out. Friend With A makes it very easy to proceed with the rental, helping keep privacy. I rented two kayaks, and they were much cheaper than renting from a marina.

Excellent rental experience. Since no shops seem to rent out OneWheels, this was the only place I could find to do so. I am taking off one star because the site did not allow me to submit ID verification (instead of submitting a $500 deposit with my credit card) because I do not have a smartphone. Even though I received a text with the link to the ID verification process, when I typed it into my web browser on my Macbook computer, the site would not let me proceed. I assume one would need to access the link directly on their smartphone. Not everyone has a smartphone or wants to use one, and it is a mistake for sites such as this to not be so user friendly to those who use basic phones and need to go through the rental process on their PC.

Rented out sine crash pads with their site. Fantastic, just wish they had an app!

The owner was kindly, prompt, and very helpful! The bikes were in great shape! Overall a wonderful experience!

Excellent platform for peer to peer Rentals!
Allows owners to cover their equipment and themselves from liability and damage to equipment. Easy to set up and maintain. Very well built and the fees are quite reasonable. Will continue to use this platform to generate a bit of additional income.
