Complete scam. Stupidly bought the stamps with the postcards as the helpful guy in the shop told us he sold stamps too. Posted them into the correct cardboard box and really felt the shop owner would just put them in the bin after we left! They should not be allowed to operate. Sent 4 postcards and not one has arrived. Avoid at all costs and find the official postal system which we would have done if we’d realised.

É una truffa. Non so se i negozi di souvenir ne siano consapevoli. Che vegogna.

Man sollte Friendpost-Marken nur im Notfall nutzen.
Man muss auf die Farben achten (blau Italien, rot Europa und grün International), die Marken sind teuerer als bei der richtigen Post, die Briefkästen sind rar (oft muss man die Karten im Laden abgeben).
Manchmal werden die kleinen Briefkästen an Souveniershops auch abends reingeholt.
E-Mailanfragen werden ignoriert.
Die Laufzeit unserer Post It-DL war vier Wochen. (Wir haben versehentlich die Marken gekauft, der Mehrpreis fiel in der Summe mit anderen Geschenken nicht auf.)

Ich habe unfreiwillig versucht Postkarten über Friendspost zu verschicken und war sehr enttäuscht. Die Briefmarken waren deutlich teurer als bei der offiziellen italienischen Post (Poste Italiane), in Venedig haben wir aber leider nur Briefmarken von friendspost erhalten.
Außerdem sollte es laut ihrer Website spezielle Briefkästen in der Umgebung geben, aber keiner dieser Kästen war auffindbar – trotz der angegebenen Standorte. Die Karten konnte ich also leider nicht verschicken.
Insgesamt wirkt das Ganze unorganisiert und wenig kundenfreundlich. Ich werde diesen Dienst in Zukunft nicht mehr nutzen und empfehle stattdessen die reguläre Post – günstiger, zuverlässiger und deutlich transparenter.

ho comprato questo francobollo perché mi è stato detto che non erano più usati quelli normali per la spedizione di una cartolina... dopo che vengo informata sul servizio deciso di acquistarlo, spedisco la cartolina il giorno 1/06 arriva a casa del destinatario il 30/06.... mi era stato detto che ci avrebbe messo 7/8 giorni lavorativi... mai più.

Scam for tourists. There are multiple problems with this "company".
1. None of 10 postacards delivered to various destinations.
2. To find a mailbox is almost impossible. The only option is to bring it to the shop that sold you the stamps, where the mailbox is. (but it will not be delivered anyway, you can throw it in the correct mailbox or to the sea - it is the same).
3. The price is higher unline other postal services in Italy.
4. The tracking on the stamps doesn't work. (It is written on their website but the tracking QR code on the second part of the stamp doesn't really work.

Yeah, you go to the Italy for the weekend, send the postcards... Who will you complain it wasn't delivered, right? And in case you complain, they will tell you that you used incorrect mailbox (even if you used the correct one :))

Wir haben zwei Postkarten in Oktober 2024 per friendpost in Italien versendet, keine ist bis jetzt angekommen. Leider werden in touristischen Ländern nur diese Stickers angeboten und keine Briefmarken der Italienischen Post.

Went to a tabacheria in Venice, which is the right place to buy official stamps from the Italian post. Did not pay enough attention and was sold these bogus stamps.
Their postboxes are impossible to find. On their site there is a list of all postboxes, but no map, which makes it impossible to find one near you.
I left Venice with my postcards...

The second and last time I we be fooled. Venice and Rome one month ago. Highly suspicious. I bought stamps and sent postcards from the vendor who had their official mailbox. Stamps are more expensive than the Post Office. The qr codes on the stamps are “fake” and do not track the postcards like they say. I contacted friend post (they took a week to respond to me that the cards did not reach their hub and that I must have sent them from a wrong mailbox! (Sic)
What kind of bogus service is this? A scam on a large scale because millions of tourists use their stamps that will never deliver your postcards. Never ever use them! Only the official Poste Italiane.

Enviei 2 postais em Florença a 31 de Maio e chegaram a Portugal a 8 de Novembro! Já não tinha esperança em receber. Não se entende o motivo deste atraso. Nem porque os quiosques de turismo vendem os selo, sem alertar que existem outras formas de correio.
Mas, obrigado. A chegada dos postais tornaram o meu dia mais feliz 😁!

None of the 7 postcards we sent from Venice reached Spain. Scam!!! It was also not communicated to us that they required to be posted in specific mailboxes which "thankfully" we found out about before posting...

Da ich an meine Verwandten aus dem Urlaub immer Postkarten verschicke, wollte ich dies auch aus Venedig machen
Dort wurden mir Briefmarken von Friendpost verkauft
Diese können nicht in normale Briefkästen eingeworfen werden und sind teuerer als die normale Post
Man muss die Postkarte im Laden oder bei Friendpost Verkäufern abgeben
Zustellung ungewiss
Die Karten kommen teilweise gar nicht an
Also Finger weg von diesen Briefmarken und lieber zur normalen Post
Leider bin ich darauf eingefallen und über 10 Euro verloren

Mi trovavo a Tropea e ho deciso di inviare 2 cartoline comprando dei francobolli dal tabaccaio ma nessuno mi ha spiegato che si trattava di francobolli (tra l'altro più cari) di una posta privata nè mi ha detto di imbucare in diversa cassetta delle lettere. Morale della favola: le cartoline sono arrivate dopo due mesi e mezzo! Vergognoso.....

Ho utilizzato friend post per spedire una cartolina dall'edicola/tabacchi della spiaggia di Grado a Udine. Ci ha messo 20 gg ma è arrivata.

gentili clienti, leggiamo le vostre lamentele ed è giusto informarvi di alcune cose che molti non sanno sui nuovi servizi privati e spesso creano poi certe reazioni , che noi capiamo. per prima cosa bisognerebbe imbucare nelle nostre cassette postali, messe in ogni punto vendita, per avere un servizio rapido e preciso. Se sbagliate la posta ci viene restituita ma i tempi si allungano . La seconda cosa, ma molto importante, è il fatto dle tracking. Nessuno ha un tracking per la posta economica mentre noi lo abbiamo , ma è utile solo per un controllo dalla cassetta a noi, e per motivi di sicurezza , visto che c'e' il problema di stickers simili ai nostri ma non ufficiali. Per qualunque esigenza sui nostri stckers c'e' un QR per qualunque informazione.

We bought stamps in Venice and then the shop already closed. Apparently we should have used that specific postbox within this shop. On the website of friendpost there are also other shops shown where you could post your cards; we went now to 6 different ones and all of them said that they do not offer this service. We decided now to buy stamps from the official post, posteitaline, so we can send our cards via the red postboxes. Conclusion; do not buy these stamps! Since you can nowhere post your cards!

we wrote 6 postcards from italy to belgium and NONE of them arrived :(
waste of money and so sorry we could not share our holiday memories with friend and family.

Postcard took 5 months to arrive
Avoid.
Get your stamp from official italian post.
