Where to start
Where to start? The item arrived and I was amazed how small the package was. The bracelet bears little resemblance to the photographs in the advertisement except for the colour. Flimsy and insubstantial, very thin metal `hammer` or `anchor` on what can only be described as a thin shoelace. Which would be fine if it were not for the price which even with the discount amounts to 51GBP. Certainly not value for money by any stretch of the imagination. I shall give it to a child on the street, certainly not for a man! We learn by our mistakes.

We are very sad to read this review - of course. We shoot all our product pictures with the same pieces that goes to customers, we have no intention of showing something that doesn't exist - of course. Customer satisfaction is our number on focus.
The bracelet has been handmade, using recycled sterling silver 935, not made in a machine in a country far-away not giving their employees fair working conditions. We have worked on the "balance" of the piece, so that the hammer doesn't risk getting too heavy, which would also risk getting it to "twist around" the wrist.
We are of course happy to reimburse you or receive the piece back if you believe that we have done something wrong. Please contact us at: support@thorofsweden.com and we take it from there.

Tyvärr kan jag inte prisa det här företaget med tanke på priset. Designen är vacker vilket fick mig att köpa en arch hammarband - silver och duo-dubbelt brunt läder. När jag tog emot varan så märkte jag att hammaren inte var solid utan ihålig med tom baksida, vilket inte syntes i några av produktbilderna, i min åsikt mycket missledande. Designen är fortfarande mycket snygg men det tog bort hela lyx-känslan och känns inte lämpligt för ett smycke som kostar 1200kr. Nu har jag använt armbandet i några dagar och de runda cylindrarna som håller ihop läderarmbandet har blivit lösa och rör på sig så att man se hur armbandet har limmats ihop. Så jag kan tyvärr inte påstå att det är särskild kvalité på något förutom hammaren själv. Osäker på om armbandet kommer hålla om limmet blir utsatt för elementen. Inte nöjd och hade lämnat tillbaka smycket.

Hej Erik,
Till att börja med är vi naturligtvis ledsna över det faktum att du inte är nöjd. Vi håller våra kunder som nummer ett, och 100% kundnöjdhet är vår övertygelse.
Vi hade möjligen inte produktbild på Duo-armbandet uppe när du köpte, men för de flätade armbanden har vi haft bakside-bild uppe. Det ligger även uppe för det bruna duo-armbandet du köpte, dock lanserades duo-versionen senare och det tar alltid någon dag extra att få upp alla bilder i retuscherad version.
Anledningen till att hammaren är skålad är utifrån två perspektiv 1. att funktionen och bärandet inte skulle fungera med en solid hammare, det skulle bli på tok för tungt och armbandet skulle omgående vrida sig så att hammaren hamnade på insida handled, istället för på ovansidan. 2. utifrån kostnadsperspektiv, materialet (det högkvalitativa återvunna Sterling Silver 935) som vi använder gör att materialkostnaden skulle bli cirka 3 gånger så hög. Med tanke på att vi redan idag har tighta marginaler så skulle vi aldrig kunna hålla ett så pass bra pris med solitt material. Men huvudanledningen är funktionen, det skulle helt enkelt inte bli bra med en för tung hammare.
Du nämner att priset får minus, det vi behöver poängtera, som du också ser på vår hemsida och under respektive produkt, är att de är baserade på högkvalitativt material, handarbetas, i Sverige. Så prismässigt kan man inte jämföra med en maskinproducerad produkt från ett låglöneland (där de etiska perspektiven också kommer till - har den som sköter maskinen rimliga villkor, behandlas personen rimligt etc). Vi vill väldigt gärna stödja utvecklingsländer, men det viktigaste är att man kan ha "koll på produktionen" och att man producerar på ett, för världens i det stora perspektivet, så bra sätt som möjligt.
Sen har vi hylsorna som du menar lossnat. Vi ser att du beställde den 10:e mars, för två veckor sedan, sen tog frakten någon dag (vi uppgraderade din frakt till tracked and insured för att öka kundupplevelsen, free of charge). Så du har haft armbandet i 12 dagar. När vi stresstestat armbanden har vi kört löprundor, bastat, badat med, slitit och dragit i dem och ändå har limningen hållt. Vi ska självfallet fortsätta att stresstesta för att se om något skulle behöva förbättras, men vi förstår helt ärligt inte hur det är möjligt att detta kan ske på 12 dagar. Proceduren vi använder är att vi limmar med ett mycket starkt Loctite-lim, värmehärdar, limmar igen och låter stelna kallt. Detta sätt har visat sig vara det mest härdiga och rimliga sättet.
Men, vi vill inte annat än att ha högsta kundnöjdhet återigen, vi vill väldigt gärna hjälpa dig, och det skulle vara väldigt bra om du kan återsända oss armbandet så vi kan se om något var fel på det, för oss är det lätt att se om man skött det enligt de rekommendationer på smyckesvård som vi har på hemsidan, eller om man inte skött det. Är det felaktigt så vill vi självfallet sända dig ett som är korrekt. Varje produkt vi skickar dubbelkollar vi innan vi sänder, men vi är inte mer än människor, kanske gjorde vi ett misstag i just detta fallet.
