SCAM. This is by far the worst business I’ve dealt with in Sydney.
I was charged $1,100 upfront for possum removal, and the issue was never resolved. The trap provided was ineffective, no alternative solutions were offered, and I ultimately had to deal with the problem myself.
While the contractor arrived on time, he appeared completely unprepared and unqualified — no ladder, no bait for the trap, and using his phone as a torch. In hindsight, I should have asked him to leave immediately.
I attempted to request a refund given the service was not delivered, but this was unsuccessful.
They do not have a physical address or person to talk to about the problem, you are required to email them and there was no response.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this company.

Had possums in the roof for weeks, especially noisy at night. Booked them after trying a few things myself. They came out, checked properly and set it up. Took a few days but the noise is gone now. Big relief.

Avoid this company. Our experience has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. We paid in full upfront for possum removal after being told our roof would be properly assessed, but no real inspection was carried out — they simply placed a trap in the roof and left.
After repeated phone calls and chasing them for answers, they eventually returned only to redo the trap, with still no result and no proper solution. Weeks later, we are left with the same problem, out of pocket, and feeling completely misled about the service we paid for.
The lack of communication, poor follow-up, and failure to deliver on what was promised is unacceptable. It’s also important for customers to know that Freshly Pest Control is the same company as Freshly Services, so people can make a fully informed decision before booking.
Given our experience — and seeing many similar negative reviews — we will be escalating this matter to Fair Trading. I would strongly caution others before using this company.

Made the mistake of hiring this company to remove a possum from my roof. First the two Indian gentlemen forgot a possum cage and had to return later with one. They were onsite with my wife for 30mins and after their web site claims and highlights affordability advised that the bill was $980 plus gst. When I returned home and queried that no possum removal person was on $1960 an hour they started to explain that possums would return if we didn’t include the repellant and sanitation steps they recommended. I found possum repellent at the local hardware for $23 suffice to say I refused to pay the amount quoted but had to negotiate $480 fee for them to remove the caught possum. Then they forgot their ladder when they left. Absolute sham avoid at all costs.

I can say is that this has been the worst experience I've ever had with any service company. I want a refund and compensation for my mattress. You cannot imagine the distress this has caused.

Im not sure why your website states you do 1hr arrival but it took me calling saturday evening for the first cleaner to come Sunday, do a poor job (bringing a friend in thongs, a broken machine patched with cardboard and a cloth, and not caring when I said we could still smell the cat urine but saying to call his boss) and then 4 DAYS For someone to agree to reattend only because I rang 11 TIMES and I was told they'd be here first thing in the morning. Nothing. I called many times being told I'd be called right back. Sunny confirmed they'd be here at 3- the technician called at 4.15pm to say he's 50minutes away.
Constantly promising a call back or service that doesn't arrive is false and misleading conduct. Your team have been very aware of this situation since Sunday. I've clearly been a low priority.
At the bare minimum I'd appreciate an apology from the owner and compensation for my mattress. But wait, they're a scam. I asked if they were a legitimate business and was hung up on. When I called to say it'd been torn I got yelled at SO WHAT YOU WANT? and oh the endless "you'll be called back in 2-5min" and nothing. DONT USE THIS COMPANY.
The second attendance was just basically a bottle of nilodor being poured on and over vacuumed so my 2yr old $2500 mattress is torn.
If i don't get a reply by Thursday morning I will be contacting Fair Trading and the ACCC.
Horrific service
Horrific service. Promised me a price on the phone and a follow up spray, said included GST (I checked) and said they’d give me the full roach treatment. The technician arrives and tries to double the price, says GST not included and gives me the lower tier treatment plan when I was promised the full one. Having loads of back and forth calling with his boss as I’m complaining. Over a month later, more nymph cockroaches surface and I call for my follow up spray. Luckily, I got it in writing and asked them to add to the follow up to the invoice, because the man on the phone said it’s a 99 dollar call out fee. I said no - I was told it was free. He argues with me and I said it’s on the email in writing mate. He then grumbles and books me in. He then calls back saying he spoke to the technician and he made a mistake on the email and it has to be on the invoice to count - cheeky as! Luckily it WAS on the invoice. He grumbles and books in again. They come and don’t even spray but throw a bit of a hose of the poison in a few streaks all over the place leaving puddles of it, no smell like last time as had used about 5 millimetres of the stuff, then left whilst I was on the phone after about 5 minutes !!!! Such a scam!

Absolutely terrible business with zero integrity or professionalism. Wish I had found these reviews before I booked them and had spent my $385 (general pest treatment for ants, spiders and cockroaches) elsewhere! I was told this price included a 12mth guarantee that if we saw any of these pests within the next 12mths, their technician would attend for free to respray. We continued to (and continue to now 4mths later) have active pests. I gave this a reasonable amount of time before trying to contact the business again by text to respray - no response. I then phoned and got a fellow who mumbled something about $99, said he would see what he could do, then abruptly hung up. I had no further contact from this business despite me attempting further contact 2wks later via text and call (calls would not go through which led me to think they had blocked my number). I then lodged a formal complaint with the Office of Fair Trade (OFT) requesting a full refund due to ineffective service and complete disinterest in honouring their guarantee. They responded via OFT with a bunch of absolute lies stating they had offered a re-attendance date that but it wasn’t suitable to me and they were awaiting further contact from me! They had not contacted me at all nor offered any date! They furthermore stated I had misunderstood the guarantee - again, I had not, and was merely seeking a full refund due to their abysmal behaviour and lack of business ethics. They offered a respray with a $99 call out fee! Which they stated was standard even with the guarantee! This was not disclosed verbally at any time nor in any paperwork they provided to me at any time. They alternatively offered a $75 refund which I counter offered for a $110 refund which was the price difference between the one off spray vs the 12mth guarantee price. They dragged their heels for weeks in responding and when OFT followed up they said they would respond by a certain date and still did not. The OFT have no powers hence had to close my complaint at this time however 1 day later Freahly Servicea confirmed they would refund $110 and have now done so.
Absolutely avoid this so called business at all costs as they will not complete the work effectively and do not care about providing a good and honest service. Reviews on their website are obviously bogus.

Terrible company, DO NOT USE THEM!!!! Just like the other reviews say, we called them to fix our problem with possums in our roof. They seemed unprofessional, just in plain clothes, they didn't say hi to me after I said hi, and only talked to my husband and came with a cage, asked us for an apple, put the cage in the roof and that's it...$300 later we still have possums and they have not helped us at all!!! Such a waste of money that we could have used towards another company that would have actually fixed our problem!

DO NOT use this company they are definitely a scam. They charged $780 to clean a 2m square part of my carpet that had water damage. The person that arrived was clearly not qualified as he used equipment that was old and not suitable for the job. He was there 3O mins max, and not only ruined my carpet permanently but he wouldn’t leave my home until I paid him. I was refusing because of the quality of the work but he became agitated and so I wanted him out of my home. I have written to the ombudsman and department of fair trading as they need to shut this business down. He promised me a receipt of which i never received. This business is fraudulent so be aware. They also trade as Freshco online.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the blinds cleaning service provided on Friday, February 13th, 2026.
Firstly, the technician, Rob, communicated an estimated arrival time but arrived after 10:00 AM. Upon entering my residence, he wore wet and soiled footwear, which I had to request he remove.
Following his assessment of the blinds, Rob provided a quotation after consulting with his superior. I found this quote to be higher than a previous estimate I had received from another company. While that company offered off-site cleaning and had a longer lead time, I opted for your service due to the price match and immediate availability.
Rob initially estimated the service would take 30-60 minutes; however, the process extended to three hours. The cleaning machine though present was not utilized and left in my upstairs bathroom with the majority of the work being performed manually. I expressed my concern regarding the persistent staining on the blinds at that point. Although he made a subsequent attempt, I felt he lacked a comprehensive understanding of the task.
After observing that the blinds remained soiled and stained, I contacted your company. During my initial inquiry, I was assured that no marks would be left. Following my conversation with a representative, Rob was contacted to address the situation. He mentioned that a mould treatment was to be applied, which I believe was not administered.
I found the overall experience to be unsatisfactory from the moment the equipment was brought in.
The technician's pace was notably slow, and at times he appeared uncertain. I was required to provide sheets and towels to protect the surrounding areas. Consequently, dirt marks and water residue were left in several locations. The extended service duration of three hours significantly exceeding the initial estimate caused considerable inconvenience and delayed my planned errands. Had I been informed of a multi-hour service requirement, I could have scheduled it for an alternative day.
I also had to specifically request that the blinds be cleaned from the reverse side which I understand to be a standard procedure that should not necessitate a client's prompt.
Upon completion of the work, I conveyed my disappointment to Rob. He offered to return on a day convenient for him. My request for a Monday appointment was declined due to a scheduling conflict related to soccer. This necessitated rescheduling for Wednesday evening, which was inconvenient for me. Had the work been executed properly and professionally, this additional inconvenience would have been unnecessary.
Given the aforementioned issues, the pricing for this service is entirely unacceptable, as the technician demonstrated a lack of expertise, efficiency, and professionalism.
Subsequently, I contacted Sandy to express my dissatisfaction. I was informed that the contractor would reach out but I have not received any communication. I also contact Shiv to address the issue.
This morning I inspected the blinds and am highly displeased with their condition, noting persistent dirt, mould, and damage. The blind in the laundry area detached due to excessive water usage, and the rug beneath it was saturated.
I am requesting a refund of the 50% payment made ($420 of the $840 quoted) on Friday which Rob requested. Initially, I had reservations about making this payment and had discussed this with Sandy. However, I proceeded with the payment in the hope of resolving the matter after speaking with the contractor, which has not materialized.
I will now need to arrange for the repair of several blinds and have them professionally cleaned again by the company I regret not engaging initially. My decision to trust your company for a quality service has resulted in significant disappointment and wasted time.
Please be advised that if this refund is not processed and the issue remains unresolved, I will be compelled to post a negative review, which could be detrimental to your business. Hope you can understand my frustration.

Where do I begin? I never write reviews but these guys are the biggest scam. I contacted them regarding a hornet problem at my house they told me $300.00 on the phone then came out and said $700.00 to completely fix the problem. I paid the money cause I am anaphylactic, they call their contractors “technicians” he was out for about half hour to forty five minutes left and said wait 5-7 days. I did, hornets still everywhere so I contacted them again and they said they would send their “technician” out who never showed up. I contacted them again to organise this supposed technician who tried to contact me but I had no missed calls and I was waiting at the property all day. I made contact again and he came out said to wait 5-7 days, I did and there are still hornets everywhere. I called again and they tried telling me they will come out and charge me $300.00 for the service. A technician was meant to come out again today and supposedly they tried calling and came around but no one was home. That’s a load of rubbish, people have been home all day and there’s no cars that have even gone up the street.
Seriously, just don’t go anywhere near this company and pay for a reputable company. They’re ignoring calls now. I wish I read these reviews before paying money to the idiots, I’d give lower than one star if possible.

If I could give a rating below one I would. Definitely do not use this company. They are scammers and provide the worst service. Inspection and treatment took a total of only 30 minutes to do and we still have unwanted insects on the place.
