What initially sounded like a straightforward moving arrangement became much more complicated once the pricing and contract details came into question. The biggest issue for me was the difference between what I understood I was agreeing to initially and what I was later being told. When I raised concerns about the cancellation/refund terms and the amount I was expected to pay, I felt like I was being referred back to different clauses and policies rather than receiving a clear explanation.I also became increasingly uncomfortable with the fact that Freeway operates as a moving broker and that another company may ultimately handle the actual transportation. That distinction was not something I fully appreciated when I first started the process. After seeing similar complaints from other customers about substantial price increases and contract misunderstandings, I would strongly recommend anyone considering them to slow down, read every clause carefully, confirm the final pricing in writing, and find out exactly which carrier will be handling the move. For me, the experience created far more stress and uncertainty than I expected from a professional moving company.
