92% negative reviews but yet they deny every single one, not rocket science to work out that these are a bunch of nasty individuals with only one focus which is to screw as much money out of you, then, will probably come back denying all knowledge of having any communication with you, reported to hmrc today by myself along with a recorded telephone conversation I had with them, here were very interested to hear what I had to say

Won't send me details via Emails. Insist I phone them. My hearing is not that good, I tend not to use the phone.
They state HMRC have payed me directly,
Therefore they are claiming their payment
All i ask is when I was suppose to have recieved, because I've checked my statements, with nothing showing.

People stay well away from this company , sign nothing, dont get tied in, I have been conned out of £108 and now they are saying over the phone £576 I owe but I have now been sent 2 invoices for £210 each, I have received no communication from them since I paid this £108 back in December 2025 but now February 2026 I owe £576, people stay away, THIS IS A WARNING FOLKS, DONT BE FOOLED

It has been one of the worst experiences of my life and I am 77,so that says it all.

My Grandmother has dementia and does not have the capacity to authorise or consent to any services. So far you have instructed 2 debt collection agencies to pursue a debt for which she is not liable, I have submitted evidence to each of them and they have subsequently dropped the case. But you can't leave it there can you? as this morning she has received a letter from a 3rd debt collection agency!!! This company will be getting the same medical evidence and also a letter from our solicitor. The letter she has received this morning has led to her spiralling into panic and it is again having a negative effect on her health. Should you continue I will happily see you in court! Preying on the vulnerable and elderly and ignoring medical evidence, causing distress, it's outright harassment!

They are not a nice company to be around they send you a bill. Because you can’t remember what you claimed for in 2001 and they don’t care about your health. They just want your money and refuse to send you money that is yours. Don’t ask them for anything

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with.
Fredrick Edwards Limited repeatedly issued threatening communications over a disputed matter, including claims of imminent legal action, yet never produced evidence of an enforceable agreement or commenced proceedings. Requests for proof were ignored in favour of repeated pressure through third parties. When formally challenged, their response was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, deflecting responsibility rather than addressing legitimate concerns. A deeply troubling experience that falls far below acceptable professional and ethical standards.

As far as I am concerned these scammers should not be allowed to be in business, it says on there website that they do not cold call anyone which is not true.

These crooks cold called me back in April 2022 and asked me if I had been paid any PPI which I replied that I had but it was not much, they then told me that the HMRC might own me tax on the PPI, I told them that I was not interested but they talked me round saying that it was NO WIN NO FEE and that they would do all the work, I asked if there was any hidden fees and they told me that there wasn't any, they said that I had nothing to loose and that if they get any money back they would take 40 percent so I agreed thinking that as they had stated "I had nothing to loose" !
Then at the end of 2022 they started sending me letters saying that I owe them money for cancelling our contract ??? So I looked at reviews about these scammers and every story was the same, so I just ignored there letters from then on. But then they passed my so called debt onto a company called Moriarty Law who have now eventually taken me to court.
My original so called bill for supposedly cancelling the agreement was about £230 but now it is £530.24 !
I have spoken to Fredrick Edwards about this but they will not discuses it with me and tell me that my debt has been passed on to there other dodgy friends at Moriarty Law, so I ring them and tell them the chain of events and that it states no win no fee ! There reply is that nothing is no win no fee and I should of read the small print.
I'm now going to ignore all letters and demands of money from these crooks, I wait for the next encounter.
I even have letters from court about a CCJ.

The court system should look at these dodgy so called financial experts and stop them scamming people.

Buyer beware. £220 administration fees hidden in T&Cs. Their process is designed to make it so difficult and when you give up, they charge a fee. They have been harassing me for years but when facing a CCJ , I had no choice other than to pay these scammers.

Scammed for £312 and harassed for 4 years after signing an unfair agreement with hidden admin fees.

Lying thieving sc*m taking advantage of vulnerable people. Constantly being harassed by this company now who have said that I allegedly signed up to use their tax reclaim service through Facebook which I never did and no apparently I owe them in excess of £200 for a service I never received and threatening me with legal action. Do not respond to any email communication from this company because you will be screwed over. It is not legitimate and cannot be trusted

Thieves. Stealing from my oap father. Charging a pensioner £180 fee for a payment he never should of had in the 1st place. You was meant to get him a tax rebate instead you charged him for a mistake on the form.
Terrible company

This company has been sending repeated, threatening emails to my elderly in-laws, which we find extremely distressing.

Their website states “We are an Authorised HMRC Agent”. However, after speaking directly with HMRC, we were told that this company is not authorised as an HMRC agent and that HMRC has stopped dealing with them.

My in-laws were pressured into a tax/PPI-related claim despite clearly stating they had already received any refund.

The emails they are now receiving are highly intimidating. One was titled “URGENT ACTION REQUIRED – DO NOT IGNORE THIS EMAIL” and states that if they do not respond within 7 days, a “Collections Administration Fee” will be added to their “debt”. The email repeatedly demands urgent contact and payment.

This tone feels designed to pressure and frighten, rather than resolve any genuine dispute. In my opinion, this behaviour is misleading, aggressive, and entirely unprofessional, particularly when directed at vulnerable people.

I strongly advise anyone contacted by this company to think very carefully and independently verify everything they claim before engaging.

I was approached by these cowboys back in 2022, for a no win no fee case. They won nothing, I cooperated fully with them, then got billed for over £200 and now have a balliff company wanting £378. After I told this sham of a company that their terms and conditions failed on many clauses, they changed the name of the company and all the Ts and Cs. How many more 1 star reviews can they get?
Avoid this company it's a disgrace.

Avoid at all cost!!!.
First they get your signature from an online form and affix it to a letter of authority which you would not have a chance to read and agree to first before signing.

They would assure you it is a "No win no fees arrangement"

They always avoid written correspondence so you do not have any evidence to hold against them.

They all have same registered office address and Directors. Check on Company's house website

They will confuse you as to who you are dealing with.

They have no intention of providing any meaningful help. The moment you decide you have had enough and ask to cancel, they hide behind the agreement and insist you owe cancellation fees. In the end you are asked to pay even more than the amount they claimed they would recover for you, despite never delivering any service of real value

If you refuse to pay, they would assign your debt to a collection agent and your interest keeps growing.

If you have had any dealings with them, here are the steps i advice you to take.

Report them to

1. the Information Commissioner’s Office

2. Report them to HMRC through the online form

3. Report them to Trading Standards

4. Report them to Citizen's advice

5. Report to the Police.

This company is a scam!
Request an SAR. All calls and emails from them, they will fail to produce, start legal proceedings for gdpr breach.
Approach hmrc and they will confirm they have never heard of frederick edwards requesting anything on your account! So the service is non existent they are trying to fraudulently charge you for.
Do not take the bullying tactics they are a joke of a firm and we will be taking them to court.

Would not even give this one star! My partner was contacted after filling out an enquiry form on social media. After a call from them and saying they did not want to go ahead, they have been charged a cancellation fee. They have not even done anything so what are they paying for? Apparently, just filling in a form means you have entered into a contract that apparently, they could not send a copy of. They prey on people just ‘enquiring’. Even the replies to reviews from this company are abrupt and rude. Stay away. WHAT A SCAM

This company have just sent me a letter through a debt collections agency The first letter ! Claiming I owe them money from 2021 , I have never received anything from them before now . I am
absolutely furious! This is beyond ridiculous , they state they have sent me letters , I can assure u they definitely have not ! Why they think they can do this is beyond me . Disgraceful ! Don’t even know what they claim they were to do for me in the first place if anything ?
