Foxy's Golf is an Accredited PGA Golf Professional and Head Professional at Bearsted Golf Club. I turned pro in 1991 and have played, taught and retailed ever since. Although having a playing career, I've focused my time mainly on my real passion, teaching. I've worked with a wide range of players from total beginners to elite tour pros. Most of my teaching is assisted with TrackMan technology, giving you great insight into your swing using data and video recording. I'm a big believer that when it comes to golf, we're all individuals, and we all have little nuances that make us unique. However, there is a need to stay within a basic blueprint to allow success and continuous improvement to follow within your golf game. My goal has always been to provide my students with the fun and excitement that the game of golf can bring to people.

I first had a lesson from Richard in 1998. As well as being a nice guy he is an excellent coach. He keeps things genuinely simple and is able to identify the things that need to be improved effortlessly and then prioritise those things without overwhelming. I hope he never retires!🤣

Richard gave me a great lesson and and a complete solution to my swing problems putting a lot confidence back in my swing and taking away my anxiety after 2 major operations

Confidence building with every lesson .

I have grown in confidence and my technique has improved following 4 lessons with Richard Fox .
The coaching is friendly , fun and informative.
Both the mental approach to the game and the technique needed to improve are in equal measure and I really feel like I am moving forward thanks to “ Foxy’s Golf @ Bearsted Golf club .

The best lesson you could ever have.

Turned up half an hour early for my time slot with a view of looking around the shop. I was ushered in the moment i arrived and had 1 and a half hours for the price of one. Richard was extremely knowledgeable and hopefully by the time of my next lesson i have successfully implemented the changes suggested to me.
