Fortress has the same or better features as ADT, and better than my current company, a small local. While my local company is less expensive,it does not offer the 4G and were not very responsive to my issues. Friendly staff and knowledgeable installer make this an easy choice.

Over the years, I have had several security companies for both my home and for business. Fortress Security has been the only company the does what they say they will do and is quick to respond if service is needed. And their prices are great with no surprise costs on their invoices.

I highly recommend Fortress Security for both home and business.

Awesome follow ups

Robert was salesman and he did everything that he could to help me get my new security system. He did frequent follow up calls to make sure I had all of the information I needed to make a decision. He answered all of my questions and explained all of the terms to me and helped me the best he could as far as I know.The technician showed up to my home and installed my new security system did a good job his name was Jeff.

We bought our house with fortress security wired and we never had it monitored but I loved that I could secure my home myself and when the system went down we called for repair . We payed the $200 for the technician to come out get our system back up and running. He only reset a code he didn't go anywhere else in the house . After a short while it wouldn't arm again and I called twice but felt like they didn't want to mess with my call because I wasn't a monitored customer . Robert Trahan months later called to ask about my satisfaction with my alarm system and after telling him how unsatisfied we were.. he took the time to listen and talk to me , explain things to me, try to get me to understand the system and helped me to become more knowledgeable and only with that we happily signed up for service

I have had little or no interaction with Fortresss Security, other that through false alarms and this is the way I like it. When we have a false alarm, they always call to make sure. They call all numbers until they speak to someone, then alert the police.

When first approached by Fortress Security, back in 2004, I never imagined it would be so over-whelming and helpful to have this kind of tool to use to be protected from outsiders. It has been a wonderful almost ten years and I don't regret one day of it.

My family has been w/ Fortress Security for over 12 years. The installation for our home went flawless, technicians and staff are well trained and respectful. They recently upgraded our older system to an home automation system with touch-screens. I priced this with other comp who knocked on my door and even after so man y years their pricing was still most competitive.

My recent experience with Jared at Fortress was wonderful. He explained everything in detail regarding the service and scheduled the install within our small window of time. The technician that came to our house to install everything was just as helpful and explained everything thoroughly. I will definitely recommend Fortress to my friends.

Fortress was presented to us as an option when we weren't really looking. We had a nationally known service already. What appealed about Fortress was more services at a slightly lower cost and the company was locally based.
Now after 4 years with the company, we were recently offered another option, but could not move from Fortress. Fortress equipment is up to date, and their local attention is unbeatable. It is much better to have access to management staff rather than have to speak to an operator or collegiate salesman on a summer job.
For less than other services I have looked at, we have remote access to our home services that is efficient and effective. Any time I have had an issue, Fortress staff has been quick and friendly to respond.
It is easy to recommend them.

We have used fortress for over 9 years. We had Fortress come out to our house to upgrade our system about 2 years ago. The reason we requested the upgrade was because we were going from a land line to a wireless home phone. Once we upgraded the system our monthly service charge went up. However almost 2 years later--we are paying for service--but have not been monitored since the upgrade. The conversation with Fortress is that they have to come upgrade our system so that it will be compatible with Wireless phone service. We have tried on multiple occasions to cancel the service--but to no avail, we have not been able to do so and so they continue to auto debit our account. EVERY SINGLE TIME I CALL... the new customer service representative say- Yes I see the notes--we were supposed to escalate this to management. But time and time again--that is where it ends. Everything is great--as long as you don't have a problem--then-- there is NO ONE to resolve it.

I accidently tripped the backdoor alarm. I turned it off at the control panel, but I never received a call checking on the alarm.

I no longer have my home but you still take money out my account because I signed a contract that I didn't know I signed when I first moved in my home.

I have had an ongoing battle with Fortress Security for almost 6 years now.
Customer service is best described as in America - YES, but for the most part they may as well be offshore in India, or the Phillipines.
Now they have "My Alarm Center" doing the work, even though I have a contract my rates are subject to constant nickel and diming the customer each time its termed " surely you will understand the necessity of this small additional fee" - BE WARNED ! When my contract is up for renewal - I am cancelling completely. Try ADT instead far more reliable And trustworthy

I have not had any problems with Fortress. Fortunately, I haven't had any real incidents but they always responded promptly whenever I accidently tripped my alarm. Customer representatives are courteous and professional whenever I have need to contact them.

Im glad i fired ADT. They didnt know a hotdog from a hamburger!
and their cameras didnt last either!

I have been with Fortress Security since 2006. All the ladies at Fortress Security are the best when it comes to knowledge about the business and Customer Service on a whole. The technicians in and out the office are very good at their jobs. I have recommend others to Fortress Security and those who have service with Fortress are very pleased. Good Job Fortress Security

Have been with Fortress since 2009 with no issues. Decided to upgrade and add CCTV recently. Had a knowledgeable tech who made it a great experience. Great service and reasonable prices--what else could one possibly want!
