Szczegóły produktu

‘Illustrators Sam Weber and Hilary Clarcq have brought the world of Arrakis to scintillating life in these Folio editions. The Dune series is the jewel in Folio’s crown: epic world-building meets epic book-making!’
  1. Tom Walker, Publishing Director
The far-future universe created by Herbert is nothing short of a phenomenon. After the novel’s publication in 1965, it won both the Hugo and Nebula awards, going on to sell over 12 million copies, and spawning five sequels, as well as multiple board games, computer games, television series and feature films. Embrace the world of Arrakis with these exquisitely illustrated editions of the original Dune trilogy. These volumes are rich with detail thanks to the talents of illustrators Sam Weber and Hilary Clarcq. Each edition features cinematic illustrations charting Paul Atreides journey as he charts a web of myth, centuries in the making. Featuring beautifully printed map endpapers that guide you through the vast desert landscapes and complex political dynamics of the Dune universe. Bound in luxurious cloth and complete with full-page illustrations and individual slipcases, this collection is a stunning addition to any bookshelf, designed to be treasured for years to come.

While the price tag is a bit steep, I am glad that I have added these to my collection. The illustrations are gorgeous. I hope that The Folio Society will continue their work and release God Emperor, Heretics and Chapterhouse too
