A fantastic experience for my 90 year old Dad, everyone we met was enthusiastic, knowledgable and helpful. The whole day couldn't have gone any better, would highly recommend.

A fantastic day and once in a lifetime experience.
Although cloud conditions delayed flights just watching the coming and going of Spitfires was so exciting.
The tour of the hangar gave a great insight into the passion that goes into keeping these planes flying.
My pilot was cool calm and collected explained everything and made the flight a truly memorable experience. The lady in the office kept me updated and everyone at the facility apologised for the late start but it was beyond their control
Would love to be doing it all again today and I would change nothing.

From the warm welcome we received when we got there, then onto the museum tour, which a great way to understand what the pilots went through and the history of the planes as well as the restoration work going on.
The wait was truly worth it.

What an incredible awesome stunning experience. I bought a Spitfire flight for my husband as it has been a lifetime dream of his. We could not have had a better experience and we highly recommend Fly a Spitfire at Biggin Hill. From the start it was professional and friendly. I received great information and advice with the booking. From the moment we arrived the team were amazing. Elaine welcomed us and made us at home and ensured we got great briefings and safety information. She is an awesome front of house! Dell gave us a superb tour of the working hangers sharing so much information. The Spitfire pilot Barry gave my husband the trip of a lifetime including my husband flying the plane and Barry showing him lots of fun acrobatics. I have never seen my husband smile so much. I am scared of flying but David who flies the chase plane gave me such confidence – off I went. It was so emotional seeing my husband right beside me in the Spitfire in the air. And what an awesome flight I had! Overall it will always be one of our best days of our lives. And we get to relive it as much as we want through the amazing photos – thanks to the wonderful Clayton and all of the videos. The whole experience could not have been better and we are truly grateful to all of the team. We recommend Fly a Spitfire very highly.

Everybody should get the chance for this amazing experience. An insight to what those 18 year old guys had to endure in the 1940's ! The whole team at Biggin Hill airfield were fantastic and helped make my day. I was called the day before by Avril to let me know that they were pushing my flight back an hour due to the weather (such welcome news and so good of the team to do that). From the guy who guided us around the site and the factory tour (I believe his name was Norris - really helpful and knowledgeable) right through to the spitfire pilot, Charlie, and Chase plane pilot Dave, we were looked after throughout by Elaine who was so funny and convinced my 85 year old mother-in-law (Pam) to take to the sky in the chase plane! Like me. I am sure that you will thoroughly enjoy your time with the whole team here at Biggin Hill ! Lovely people! I wish I could do this every day!

It’s not only that flying in a Spitfire is an incredibly moving and exhilarating life experience, this company has got everything right. The staff are amazing people, professional, friendly, attentive, and generous. They made the difference to make my day at Kemble very special indeed. Special thank you to Dave, Keith, Kay, and Barry who are simply the best.

All contact with the company was excellent and they bent over backwards to help as the weather forecast for my slot wasn't good. They were able to move me to a later one and kept me advised of the conditions. We were looked after so well at Biggin Hill airfield from the moment we arrived and everyone was so friendly. I finally took off in brilliant sunshine and had the time of my life, being able to take control and really 'fly' a Spitfire. The 2 victory rolls were pretty special too and I'd do the whole thing again tomorrow if I could.

We had a brilliant company day - Flying in 2 Spitfires and the P-51. We didn't take the option - but retrospectively would definitely do the chase plane as well! Many thanks to our Pilots, Jez, Cookie and Barry - we are still buzzing one month later! Many thanks from Simon, Ben and Gerd!!!! The only downside is that the Cessna last week seemed a bit slower than I remembered!

Not only a great experience but also great staff and pilot. We opted for the extra "chase" plane and the video footage is amazing, well worth the extra cost.

A fantastic day at Blackbushe Airport. All of the team were very welcoming and Jon Cooke the pilot was excellent. It took a while to get my 88 year old father into the Spitfire but once in he was literally on cloud 9. We got some amazing photos and videos and it will be a day to remember. Great experience.

The whole day was amazing - this was an incredible secret which had been kept from dad for quite some time. We weren't too sure how he would react, however the staff were incredible, from office staff, support staff and pilots which made the whole event incredible for all of us. One thing I would most highly recommend is to book the chase plane (and it was only through a casual conversation with a work colleague that she suggested it). Our three children were 'with' dad on his flight of a lifetime!
One daughter couldn't stop crying, one sat with their pilot videoing the whole experience - we have close ups of dad, airborne, waving from the cockpit! - and our son who is a big boy for his mumma at 6ft 7' was also able to see, feel and experience the total thrill of flying next to a "Grey Nurse" Supermarine Spitfire T.9, over the beautiful Kent countryside on a sunny afternoon in June - it doesn't get any better than that!

What an amazing experience. Flew the Weald of Kent from Biggin Hill, a truly fabulous day. All the staff were brilliant. Friendly, knowledgeable and couldn’t have done more to make sure me and my watching family enjoyed this very special day, thank you. My pilot, Andy, was terrific. Two barrel rolls and I had some time with the controls. Four of my family went up in the chaser plane and we’ve some wonderful video and photo footage to remember the day. Hanger tour was very interesting and informative. Worth every penny.

Had a truly memorable flight in Spitfire G-AIDN flown by Steve Harris whose cheerful professional manner ensured I had a great time including when I took control. This friendly welcoming manner was also very evident on the ground at Blackbushe with all the help shown to my wife and myself by Heidi, Adele, Flo and Tom. We both had a fantastic time. Thank you. If there were more than 5 stars then I'd give them.
The flight was booked for a very close friend of ours, an amazing gentleman who had been having a hard time health wise but bearing it with courage and humour. It was a total surprise for him.
The flight was booked out of Swansea.
Kaye who conducted the safety briefing was both wonderful and welcoming. She explained the safety procedures clearly and effectively with reassurance.
Charlie our pilot for the day was outstanding and put Harold at ease prior to the flight. It was evident that Charlie not only loved flying the Spitfire but really enjoyed sharing that amazing experience with people. During the flight he coaxed Harold into taking the controls and Harold took to it like a duck to water.
The post flight chat with Charlie was also a great experience for both Harold and us as his friends.
I cannot express enough our gratitude for really making Harolds experience such a memorable life changing experience. He's still on cloud 9 today and I suspect he will be there for some time.

I enjoyed the whole experience, something that I never thought I would do! Big thanks to the pilot Barry Hughes for the experience.
However, I was a little disappointed that the flight
seemed a bit tame even though it included couple of victory rolls. I didn't get any feelings of the spitfire's power or agility. I am sure the pilot was giving me instructions but I could hardly hear what was being communicated due to the excessive hiss in the headset.
That being said, I still enjoyed the flight and would highly recommend everyone to do it!

Once in a lifetime experience.
If you are bringing friends or family the chase plane experience is to be highly recommended.

Wow wow wow. Five star from start to finish. A huge THANKS to John, Flo and all the team at Blackbushe for an experience of a lifetime. I’m still coming down from cloud nine and would do it all again in a heartbeat. If you’re planning a flight you’re in for a wonderful treat. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

A big thank-you to everyone involved (including the office staff for processing the booking) for looking after my family and I on Friday morning. We all had a fantastic time and for me, a trip of a life-time in a spitfire (with Andy also performing three wonderful victory rolls over Beachy Head) which lived up to everything that I had hoped for.

A truly superb experience, which we continued with a trip to the Westerham Brewery afterwards and then onto the RAF memorial chapel. My wife and I then visited Chartwell on Saturday morning before making the long trip back to North Devon.
