Had an amazing experience with Flucamp i did a 12 day quarantine at their canary wharf facility, the staff are always so kind and i dont have one bad word to say about them and the food was also surprisingly good.

They always let you know the plans for the day and what is to be expected so everything goes smoothly. I was a bit hesitant to how i would be able to cope but the time flew by as they have things such as gaming devices and tv in the room, i also had a beautiful view which made my stay alot nicer.

Very nice staff, they had very good communication, very good opportunity. Good amount of money.

I spent 15 days at the Whitechapel clinic, and it was a great time. Like everyone, I was incentivised by the compensation, but my experience at Flu Camp was great.

All of the staff were lovely and friendly, from the receptionists to the doctors. The nurses and clinical staff were absolutely amazing; I always felt safe and well-informed.

The food was nearly always excellent. Some meals were certainly better than others, but they were mostly all piping hot, balanced, and tasty. My advice? Get the soups for lunch, as they were genuinely delicious. There was plenty of variety, and ordering on the app was incredibly easy. The rooms also came with various snacks, and de-caf tea and coffee.

The actual clinical trial aspect was straightforward, and though it was, at times, uncomfortable and unpleasant, it was all manageable. I'm a little squeamish about needles and blood, but I found that I very quickly acclimatised to providing blood samples. Having a cannula put in for days at a time was somewhat unpleasant, but that's to be expected. Everything was explained clearly to me, and again, the staff were great. However, for most of my time at Flu Camp, all the medical stuff probably took up no more than 40 minutes of the day, if that. That being said, I wasn't one of the people who had to provide blood samples throughout the night.

The room and facilities were basic, with a fairly standard private hospital room setting, but everything was in good shape, clean, and comfortable. My room didn't have a window, and I thought that the lack of natural light would get to me, but I actually got used to it very quickly. I made sure to bring plenty of books and personal entertainment with me (my laptop, tablet, Switch), you are in the room throughout the trial so it's important to keep yourself occupied.

My advice to people doing Flu Camp?
> Bring warm socks, the rooms are kept cold.
> Bring an eye mask as the staff need visible access to the rooms at all times and it can be bright at night
> Make sure to bring plenty of things to do.

What could be improved about Flu Camp?
> Name tags for staff
> A greater amount of teas and snacks in the room. I felt like I was always asking the staff for more milk, sugar, cups, etc, etc.
> A rough daily schedule to better plan my day around the medical tests.
> An extra pillow for the bed

Honestly, I can't recommend it highly enough for the amount of money and the quality of care that Flu Camp provides. I would 100% like to do Flu Camp again, this time hopefully at their new facility in Canary Wharf.

Had my quarantine and the Canary wharf facility which was a surprise because the rooms were nice had air con and a great view with floor to ceiling windows on suite bathroom with shower and a smart TV with ps5 and very important to me was a fast WiFi connection at around 150mb.

There was a nice selection of snacks juices and decaf tea and coffee which you can get at any time with a button. The meals were great and flavourful with breakfast at 8.15 lunch at 12.30 and dinner at 17.00, and over my 10 day stay I did not have and 2 days with the same main course which was a surprise for me.

the staff were nice and friendly and very attentive overall it was a good experience and I'll definitely sign up again for it again because I had no symptoms so it was mole like a vacation for me.

I recently finished my 12 day stay with flu camp in there facility in Canary Wharf. Throughout the process every possible attempt was made to make me feel comfortable, informed, entertained, looked after and well fed. The staff cannot do enough for you whilst you’re there and often stay and chat with you in your room when they come to do your vitals. They always ask if you need anything extra if there is anything they can do and as I say always keep informing you about what is happening and when. If you work from home like I do then this is a perfect opportunity to get paid whilst getting paid. The room is very quiet and when you’re not working there is a TV on the wall opposite the bed with all the streaming channels available if you have the subscriptions. The PS5 only had one game which was rocket league which was fun and broke up the tv watching and laptop work. I will definitely come back and do FluCamp again and would recommend it to anyone who like me who has a flexible diary.

There was a stark contrast between the traumatic ordeal my friends and family presumed I was putting myself through, and what in reality was just a battle with boredom.
Despite spending many hours working alone at home, and having plenty of projects to keep me busy at FluCamp, the minimal comforts of the small quarantine room can eventually become monotonous.

There was always a chance of not getting a room with a window, but I didn't manage my expectations there and was disappointed with my short straw. It didn't seem like an issue initially but definitely affected my sleep and mood after 16 days. I'm a light sleeper anyhow and this with all the peripheral noise added up to feeling quite sleep-deprived by the time I left.
I felt for the other 'campers' who also had to do their blood tests though the night.

The days with lots of testing became appreciated to make the days pass quicker, whereas the days were you just see the team for meals drag on.
The meals were surprisingly good, in quality, variety and portion size, supplemented by a good range of healthy snacks. With the lack of exercise, this helped pack on a few extra kgs!

I should highlight that the team were always friendly and helpful, bringing a welcome bit of interaction and conversation.

Overall I had a good experience from screening through to quarantine and would likely do it again at some point.

Flu camp was very enjoyable for me. Each stage was quick and easy. I loved the free health checks. Flu camp check everything with bloods, urine, blood pressure and your getting paid for your time.
Communication was great. Phone calls and emails with updates and next steps.
Quarantine was fantastic! The room was clean and had everything you need. Food was amazing ! Freshly cooked and you can choose what you want daily.
Lots of snacks.
Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Had an absolutely amazing experience at the flucamp. Gave me a reasonably good time away from the whole daily hustle and bustle of life and a good time for some self reflections that was very much needed.

Thanks to the amazing staff and I met some really nice new friends too. I will recommend this to anyone who needs some time off and also wants to earn some extra quid to go with it. Thank you for the experience

I would definitely recommend Flu Camp to anyone who works from home!

I thought I would hate being stuck in one room but working really helped me get through it and I rarely actually got that bored.

The food was mostly really nice and the facilities were pleasant, though you may struggle if you end up without a window like I did. You also have to be prepared for not much sleep, as you have to undergo tests quite late at night and early in the morning.

Overall it was a good experience that I’d do again. Definitely worth it for the amount of compensation you get!

Overall a pleasant experience at flu camp. The room was fine but the bed was uncomfortable for a 15 day stay. The corridors were very noisy at all times even at night with staff so bring earplugs and an eye mask! Majority of the staff were so lovely! The food was hit and miss, definitely room for improvement and more variety needed. As someone who has a sweet tooth I missed chocolate a lot (which we were not allowed) so it would have been nice to been offered other sweet treats as snacks or with lunch rather than just dinner. I was not prepared for the number of blood samples that were to be taken, nor did I know about having to have cannulas before I entered the trial. Unfortunately my veins are super fragile and small, my arm could not handle the number of times we were having bloods taken and I am very bruised and sore due to staff having difficulty getting blood from my veins. I wish I was informed about the number of blood samples and the cannulas before hand. I would not recommend flu camp to any fussy eaters or anyone who does not feel comfortable with needles/bloods. I would do another clinical trial if I am made aware of how many times my blood would be taken and maybe a shorter trial as 15 days was very long. I never felt bored though and I am glad I did it, I am very happy with my compensation!

I had a first class care while undertaking the whole steps at flu camp as a volunteer. Their penchant for health improvement, promotion and protection were top notch. Their love and value for humanity was extremely outstanding, ranging from the friendly kindness of their staffs to the warm reception and guidance. It was indeed a very exciting experience.

I met people who were in the same boat as me, joining for the first time. The workers were always lively and friendly, creating a very chilled and likeable environment. I am surprised I did not do these trials sooner, but I will definitely do it again in 3 months, once I’m eligible again. However, I will surely come back to FluCamp because I truly enjoyed the time I spent there.

It was so much better than expected! The nurses were always very helpful and always explaining everything when I asked! I quite liked the food as well! I was able to work while I was there and made everything much easier :)
Given the circumstances, it is so much better than expected and I would gladly go back again

The worst company they asked me to come for a screening which I was never elegance for then they admitted they messed up and agreed compensation which I never received complete stitch up

Felt super safe and looked after by the staff! Always got everything explained throughly and would 100% do it again !
