Good unit, bit pricey. Have had it in two of my last houses.
Gives piece of mind. Issues are as follows:
1) Unit needs the backup battery to work. Not smart design - system can be taken offline by the battery failing. The chances of my power being out when I have a leak are much lower than the battery failing, not being replaced and a leak happening.
2) False positives - have had the sensor fail and it looks like the unit is working when it isn't

Through out the years I have purchased several safety shut off valves. I have been very impressed with the dependability of the flow logic product. The support I received from the company has been outstanding. They now have a 1 1/2" safety valve which is going to be perfect for several applications.

When I had a question about the battery 2-3 yeats ago I had an excellent experience with someone at Flologic on the steps to install it. No issues since.

I highly recommend Flologic; if I had it at my last house it would have prevented $300,000 in damages.

I've had 6 floods. This would have prevented 5 of them I can't understand why insurance companies don't pay for it. The one flood it would not have prevented was due to roof damage and rain.

I feel very comfortable going out of town and knowing that I will not come home to a house full of water. This did happen to me once prior to the Flologic.

Have had great experience and very satisfied I invested the money in a flologic system for my home. What makes it different than other companies, is that I have a phone number and person to call when I need advice or have a question about a specific code message showing up on the monitoring screen. Recommended this to my son & friends.

Got this in 2011 after a bad experience with a leak in my house while I wasn't there. The system was easy to install electrically and I got a plumber to do the piping. There were some minor startup bugs that Flologic took care of perfectly. The product kept alarming when it was started up and I thought that was a problem with the system but it turned out the system was so sensitive it was detecting some toilet leaks that I was not even aware of. After fixing the two toilets the system worked perfectly. I paired it with a Sensaphone monitoring system so now I get a text and email if something goes wrong while I am away. Also it is handy that the Flologic automatically goes to "away" after no water use in 18 hours as I have left home more than once without setting it to "away".

Our Flologic has been in service for just over nine years. Only maintenance required has been (expected) replacement of the external battery backup. When it was necessary to seek information from Flologic, replies to our questions have been prompt and helpful. We've had no major leaks (thank goodness) but Flologic occasionally shuts our water supply off when unusual usage patterns are detected (as when we have additional family members or guests changing our water consumption) -- which is what it's designed to do.

Simply a great addition to our home, we rest easy knowing Flologic is on the job.

Flo Logic personnel are always available and helpful when there is a problem with valve. Although there are not very many problems with valve. Customer service is superb.

Made me aware when water was running.
Flologic should petition more insurance companies to give a discount. I am a broker and very few of my carriers offer the discount. I also feel that the cost has increased significantly. However, it is still a great system.

I love this product. We have had one for years. It has saved us from a number of leaks as we have been plagued with pinhole leaks in our copper pipe. I had no idea where the next leak would happen, so water detectors would have been worthless. This was the perfect solution. I had gotten to the point that I was constantly worried about leaks while we were out of town. Flologic has given me peace of mind. Their customer service is great. The system has functioned flawlessly for years. We had to replace the pinwheel once but other than that, no problems.

Anytime I leave the house for a vacation or weekend, I just hit the button on the controller to turn the water off. It gives me comfort. I've had some problems when I was away for 3 weeks and the power was off in my home and the back-up battery died. When I got home, the water would not come on. I got the booklet, looked up how to turn the water on manually, and within 10 minutes had water. I've had the system for about 16 years. I have told may friends about it. One had a dishwasher that ruined a wood floor. Now they have it. The only problem I've had that in the last year, the controller is wearing out, meaning it is hard to see what is on the digital display. And the replacement is pretty expensive. But, after 16 years, what do you expect. Also, I got a discount on my home insurance for having the unit installed, which btw I did myself. It was easy if you can handle a little bit of plastic plumbing connected to brass. Took about and hour. I know I've said a couple of negative's but overall, the unit gives you peach of mind. Larry

This is one of the best investments we have made when it comes to protecting our home from flood damage. We've had to replace the motor control board once, but the customer service was fast and efficient.

Overall, i would recommend this product. I would love to upgrade to the latest version of the system, but can't justify the expense since the current one is working fine.

We have two Flologic's installed in our two houses and we are glad we did as a leak developed in our house down south and shut the system off before any damage was done to our house. We highly recommend this product.

Only issue is that Flologic thinks there's a leak when I use my power washer.

We've had our Flologic for many years and love knowing that if we have a water leak anywhere in our home that we'll be spared the significant damage and/or cost of wasted water that can result from even a slow leak. The system has proven reliable and the company very supportive. We would not want to own any home without this protection and highly recommend it.
