I ordered 2 tickets through this “company” because my daughter and I are going in a cruise. It was during the holidays so I was busy, but saw an email from them on the 27th of December. It said my seats were no longer available and I had to pay twice as much as the original price if I wanted tickets. I called the number on the Facebook page, but it was a sex line. The correct number was on the website. He (can’t remember his name because I was so shook up) told me he had been trying and trying to call me. I had no missed calls or any voicemails from them. Only an email. He insisted they needed more money for the tickets as those seats were no longer available. I told him no, that’s now how this works, and I want a refund. He informed me that was not an option. I asked to speak with his supervisor and he put me on “hold,” and about 5 minutes later told me there weren’t any supervisors available and to call back in the morning after 8am. I called at 8:10am and (big surprise) there was no answer. Ever since I first called, I thought it was strange that the same person answered the phone each time I had called (there were multiple calls). This is probably a guy or group of guys who made a site and find cheap tickets online making it look like they have best best priced tickets, but they don’t. My card was charged to the airline the night I was told to call the supervisor in the morning. Like, right after our call! Unfortunately, I didn’t realize initially that the charge was actually to the airline, and disputed it through my bank thinking it was flightmerchant.com. He must’ve sensed I wasn’t about to let this go and quickly purchased the tickets on the airline’s website to cover his ass. So now it’s 6 days away from our cruise and I still don’t have tickets because I currently can’t afford to buy two more, and canceling the dispute has been a long drawn-out process. Sorry for such a long rant, but it really didn’t help having this on top of all the other stuff going on in my life right now. I just want them to get shut down or have some type of repercussions for their actions, because it’s clearly not just me this happened to… and I keep thinking about all the people that didn’t know better and just paid the increased charge. That’s what really pisses me off!

Pésimo… estafadores completos! Compre un pasaje a determinado precio y me llamaron a decir que no q ha habido una confusión bla bla y q tengo q completar el precio! Les dije q como si en la página salía eso y eso me cobraron.. pues no lo aceptaron y arbitrariamente con los datos de mi tarjeta compraron otro vuelo q averigüé y salía más barato. A la final estos ladrones me cobraron el doble de los pasajes y ni siquiera me dieron la opción de reembolso ni el vuelo que yo escogí. ⓣⓔⓝⓖⓐⓝ ⓒⓤⓘⓓⓐⓓⓞ !

Do not use this company. I lost $4500 for flights to Thailand.
Let me lay out a timeline for you:
Firstly they get you with their low prices.
You book - there is NO secure payment method you have to put your credit card details into their site, you’re so desperate for the cheap fare you risk it.
(They’re now claiming a week later that it’s my fault that the payment didn’t go through because I didn’t pay through a secure payment method? There was no option!????)
Red flag #1.
- you get an automated email confirmation with all of the flight details saying you will get your E-ticket within 48hours. You think great it’s legit.
- 24 hours later you get a very strange call from a “staff member” who is mumbling and can barely make any sense, asks if you are flexible with your dates because the return flight has been overbooked? You say no he says he will figure it out. The conversation is over. ????
- after the call you think that’s odd, start doing some research and realise they are a scam.
- you email multiple times to ask for your tickets and or money back. You get a dancing around the point reply from [Name Removed] who kindly reminds you they are non refundable. They completely ignore everything you said.
- you try to call them 6 times no answer.
My bank thank goodness cancelled the transaction and gave me my money back.
They try to claim that was them refunding you and ask what else you want help with???
It’s all just really strange and a well laid out scam. While you’re going back and forth and hoping you’ll get your tickets, they’re wasting your time while the other flights out there go up in price.
Some of their email reply’s come from the “team” Some come from a person. Who knows what is going on.
Whatever you do, don’t use this company.
They are now emailing me trying to claim their customer service is slow because of how busy they are?
This whole experience is crazy and I can’t believe this business is still in operation.

I am very grateful for Sam‘s time and effort to sort out my issue. The issue is resolved as much as it can be thanks to Sam. He was more than just helpful but also very patience and considerate.
As much as I am disappointed in the airline booking system, I could not praise and give enough credit to Sam for his effort, character and time. Thank you Sam 10/10

Scam!! I don't know how this company has no been shut down. I spoke with "Sam". Their scare tactics include are bullying, gaslighting, manipulation just to name a few. Followed by aggression, the silent treatment (WHILE ON THE PHONE!) and some more gaslighting.
*We were told we had to pay an extra $200 to secure seats and $170 to book in for luggage. (We did booked in for carry on luggage).
*Told we mustn't be very smart because we didn't know the terms and conditions of flying.
*Told to calm down and have a glass of water. When I obviously got very agitated and said I did not want to wait 2-3 days for a resolution (the was was in 3 days) I was told by Sam "I am not God!"
Overall it was 3 phone calls and approx 2 hrs of back & forth. At one stage I was told someone from their customer service team would be in contact with me.. but not for at least another 3 hrs because they weren't at work. I asked if he could put what we have spoken about in an email, also confirming that customer service team would be in contact with me. He then flipped saying he wasn't authorised to send emails... BUT He sent the original email to contact him.
At one stage I told him I had to call him back. I googled the company and of course found so many negative reviews- with the same issue I was having! I called back and mentioned the reviews. I was told the bad reviews are customers who are just basically complaining because things didn't go their way.
I was lied to so many times and I pointed this out "Sam" was very aggressive or again would just go completely silent! I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told I COULD NOT speak to him as he was a phone call. I told Sam I was happy to be on hold. Sam said he could not put me on hold because he was too busy!?
Eventually I was told the supervisor would call me back. I did not think I heard from them. "Christopher" the supervisor called me back. He was pleasant. He issued a refund!
I think I was very lucky to have this outcome. My experience with the first caller was honestly disturbing. I hate to think of how many people they have scammed through this. Because I got a refund, I don't think I can report Flights Merchant to the ACCC (because my problem was resolved). But this company is horrible!

Beware of Flightsmerchant..they use Emirates flights to lure you into a cheap nonexistent airfare..no eticket after you pay..then call you next day for more money to get secure airfare. No refunds…everything the reviews say is totally true. A scam!!!Had to buy another ticket from reputable website to get home for Xmas..Horrible experience..Never use Flightsmerchant..can’t believe they’re still ripping people off on Jetcost websites and haven’t been closed down!!! BEWARE!!!
