Ich kann tatsächlich nichts schlechtes über flightlink sagen. Sind von Mwanza nach Arusha geflogen. Der Flug ging pünktlich los, war eine schöne Propeller-Maschine, das Personal an Bord und an Land war super freundlich. Wir haben auch gratis Wasser und sehr leckere mit viel Schoko überzogene Cashew Nüsse bekommen. Schnellste Gepäckabwicklung weltweit bisher
Herr Idrissa von Flightlink Mwanza hat mich super betreut als ich eine Frage hatte und mich begleitet bei meiner Flugangst. Wirklich sehr zuvorkommend gewesen und super verständnissvoll auch alle anderen Mitarbeiter waren super nett im Office. Vielen Dank dafür
Den Flug würden wir natürlich gerne bewerten, nur hat der erst gar nicht stattgefunden.
Pünktlich früh morgens am Airport Sansibar für unseren Flug nach Pemba. Online Check-In vorab nicht möglich gewesen.
Na dann - verwunderte Augen, denn unser Flug wurde nicht auf dem Display angezeigt.
Endlich jemanden vom Bodenpersonal gefunden. Der hat uns noch nicht einmal in der Datenbank gefunden. Erklärung: wir hätten sehr früh im Vorjahr gebucht und Flightlink hätte sein Buchungssystem erneuert, leider ohne unsere Daten zu übertragen. Alle Passagiere haben eine mail erhalten, wir halt nicht.
Dann endloses Gestocher im Nebel, Resultat war ein Flug mit Auric Air am späten Nachmittag und Zahlung für ein Tageszimmer in einem nahegelegenen Hotel.
Wir haben beinahe einen vollen Tag im Resort zu fröhlichen 1.200 USD verloren.
Flightlink wegen Entschädigung angeschrieben und welch Wunder: keinerlei Reaktion.
I witnessed very unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour from the flight staff. I arrived at 7:30, yet I was told that I was late and was required to buy an additional ticket. I was then told that a seat was “freed” for me, which felt inappropriate and misleading.
This experience left me feeling treated unfairly and, frankly, scammed. I would not recommend this platform to others. It was one of the worst travel experiences I have had in Tanzania
Very poor interface when you book - need a better website design for smoother service. The airplane from Arusha to Zanzibar was new and well ahead of schedule (departed 20 minutes early and arrived 30 minutes early). Snack with bottled water was provided. We were charged to check-in our carry on as it had wheels and they don’t accept that (money grabbing situation) because the lockers are small.
Ho volato con flightlink da Nairobi a Zanzibar e ritorno. È stata un’esperienza positiva. Il volo è stato puntuale e a bordo ci hanno offerto acqua e una piccola merenda.
Volo A/R Dar Es Salaam - Zanzibar. Tutto perfetto, dal check in alla puntualità, alla cordialità del personale. Viene peraltro fornita anche una bottiglietta d'acqua nonostante il breve tragitto. Inoltre nel prezzo è incluso un bagaglio da stiva da 20 kg e uno a mano da 5 kg. Ottimo anche il servizio whatsapp che mi è stato molto utile per avere informazioni sulla prenotazione e sulle regole dei bagagli. Non metto 5 stelle perché la app non funziona quasi mai e anche il sito web mi ha dato problemi oltre a essere poco chiaro nelle informazioni sul volo (motivo per cui ho dovuto domandare all'assistenza whatsapp).
The booking experience and customer service has been terrible.
Our flights from Zanzibar to Serengeti has been cancelled weeks after booking because Flightlink said their flight wasn’t full and it was the start of the low season.
I understand that an airline company may try to optimize its operation to reduce its costs but I would expect the company to compensate the impacted customers at its was Flightlink’s sole decision to cancel the flight.
Nothing happened, they put us on the next day flight and we had to pay by ourselves the hotel for that overnight stay, as well as the taxi back and forth and the Insurrance for Zanzibar (another 88usd) as we were initially in transit and supposed to have none of those costs. And we also lost one night booking in a resort in Serengeti…
Addressing our issue was very slow with days without any updates and we lost any cheaper alternatives (there were a flight on another airline the same day but again Flightlink didn’t accommodate it at their own cost).
I stop here and I would have put 0 star if it was available.
Not recommended at all. There are plenty of other airline companies that also want to be a regional player and offer a decent service.
NB: Reaching the head of sales and even the CEO didn’t solve our issue. I even question the values of Flightlink now.
