I’m quite capable of booking flights online, however: sometimes the Flight Centre just does it better. Last two trips my wife and I needed to stop off in a country on the way to Europe. I let the staff at Flight Centreknow what my requirements were and they came back with a really good price both times. I went 10 years booking flights myself but when I can get them at the same price and with people who have more knowledge than what I do about connecting flights and stopovers I’m pretty happy to do business with the Flight Centre. They’re great to deal with.

I am a terrible flyer. I had a flight attendant named Tiffany travelling from Brisbane to Roma and I cannot thank her enough for taking exceptional care. I won’t forget her. The pilot took excellent care when I got off as I passed out twice and he also made sure I was okay. I will recommend Rex to everyone I know.

I had a very disappointing experience booking a flight on 27 Sept. 2025 ( from manila to melbourne via Philippine airlines to singapore and Qantas to Melbourne) through Flight Centre. After completing the booking, I received no e-ticket confirmation and no clear advisory on when or how the ticket would be sent. I waited far longer than acceptable, with no updates or instructions provided.

This lack of communication caused a lot of unnecessary stress and uncertainty, especially since having an e-ticket is essential for check-in and travel. I had to chase down support myself just to confirm if the booking was even valid.

When booking through a professional travel service like Flight Centre, I expect at the very least:

A prompt e-ticket or booking confirmation

Clear communication on when to expect it

A support team that is responsive and proactive — not radio silence

This was a complete letdown. I won’t be using Light Booked again, and this experience has made me question Flight Centre’s standards when partnering with such third-party providers. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

Very happy with the service

Hi, my wife and I have travelled to Bali for more than 30 years. We always use Flight Centre, and in particular Mel Bailey at Hallett Cove. We arrived in Bali on 31 July for 2 month stay. We both caught a terrible flu within the first week. Because of my wife's age we had taken out travel insurance through Flight Centre. On Friday, the 8th we were at dinner in Sanur when my wife collapsed. We returned to the hotel and called a local doctor who advised that she was Dehydrated, tired and exhausted from the effects of the Flu. He again returned Saturday morning, 9th of august and examined my wife and said she was better but to rest for the day. That night, we went to a resturaunt close to our hotel, but again my wife collapsed and was taken to hospital in an ambulance and admitted to ICU. The next morning I contacted Europ Travel Assistance and received support. Over the next few days, with my wife still in hospital, we were constantly in contact with Europ help line. On Tuesday, at about 10.00am, we were advised by Europ that my wifes claim for medical costs was approved and that I could go to the hospital and she would be discharged. At the hospital, we were advised that they were waiting for a guarantee of Payment (GOP) so that Barbara could be discharged. Unfortunately this saga then continued for more than 8 hours and my wife was getting very distressed. I spoke on several occasions with Euro and the hospital but was continually told by (Eruo) that they were reviewing the medical records and accounts. At that stage, I thought my wife would have to remain in hospital for another night because of the delay with the GOP. I then called your (Flight Centre) international help centre based in QLD and spoke with a lovely lady called Dawn. I explained our situation and that we had been loyal customers for 20 plus years, and the overall situation with not getting the appropriate correspondence from Euro travel insurance. She took details of our policy and put me on hold at 6.55pm. With 20 minutes she spoke with Eurotravl and the appropriate documentation came through imnediately to the BROS INA Hospital in Renon, in Bali and we were advised my wife could be discharged. What a wonderful compassionate staff member who was willing to go outside the norms and contact Euro Insurance, prompting an immediate response from them. I felt compelled to advise you of this experience. Such wonderful staff need to be acknowledged. My wife is 82, and I am 75 years of age and with our life experience, people such as Dawn provide the resolution to what was becoming a very traumatic experience for us. Fantastic communication and service

Absolutely disgusted with flight centre all they want to do is make more money off you. HORRIBLE customer support they clearly don't value customer satisfaction over the money they are making. they wont change my flight after leaving me and my boyfriend stranded in Brisbane airport overnight without letting us know, so there was no time to book a hotel. I will never be booking with them again i am so appalled and disgusted at how they treat long term customers. my advice is to never book with them as they are NOT accommodating at all and seriously just don't care.
