I love flat.io it is the easiest music making app unlike notion or musescore. I love how they give you 15 free songs and then you have to pay monthly, yearly and that option to never pay again. like$600.im using monthly. everyone is so nice but when I try to report someone it is difficult and I wish that you guys add report option in everyone's profile to make it easier. amazing app! from your user,MinorWave of flat.io
When switching from noteflight to flat I was optimistic but I didn't think it would be that optimized for me as a person who writes music both on his phone and on a computer as it has keybinds and touchscreen comparability and the audio it produces as play back sounds really nice compared to other music writing softwares the only thing I have against it is that some features are paid locked but I cant complain when they run a really good deal near the beginning of school and a new years deal to
Flat.io is wonderful! Flat allows you to create musical scores with musical notation (you can keep it really simple, or you can make beautiful musical scores with full notation). Flat is simple to learn (when compared to other musical notation apps). You can create piano sheet music for your songs, for example. You can also create musical scores with multiple instruments, and have Flat play back your song, so you can be sure your notation is correct. Flat allows you to create a certain number of projects for free; after that, there is a low-cost monthly plan that allows you to continue using Flat. You can even work collaboratively with others in Flat; I've used that feature many times now and it works very well. I've really enjoyed this tool. I've been paying monthly for it for almost 4 years now, because I use it extensively as a songwriter and composer of music, and I have never been disappointed. My favorite thing about Flat, is how often they will update their app (and I never feel lost! they are great at making changes that are intuitive and helpful). They update the app frequently to improve it, based on user feedback.
Wonderful facility. Loads of scores made successfully and very intuitive to use. Exporting to audio and print are great.
Just one flaw that catches me from time to time is that you cannot change time signature earlier in your music without it deleting part of a bar. For example if you change 9-8 to 6-8 or 3-4 to 2-4 it will delete the third beat. I have requested a fix more than once but sadly it trips me up every time.
Otherwise brilliant!
Buggy and unstable, absolutely unreliable on Android device. Uninstalled after 10 min and moved on with Muse Score, worked magic indeed

Please note that performance can vary significantly based on a device’s specifications and screen size. Although the Samsung Galaxy S10 (released in 2019) remains a capable smartphone, more complex sheet music editing—beyond quick on-the-go adjustments—may be less convenient and potentially less performant on smaller screens. Devices with larger displays, such as tablets or laptops, often provide a smoother and more intuitive editing experience.
We noted your reference to MuseScore; however, on Android, it only offers score viewing and does not allow editing or creating sheet music, making it fundamentally different from our app. If you had also tried Flat on a desktop, you would have had a more robust experience akin to MuseScore’s desktop version.
We are pleased that hundreds of thousands of users across various platforms have a positive experience with our app, but we recognize that individual outcomes can differ. If you ever decide to give our app another try—perhaps on a laptop—our support team would be more than happy to help you optimize your setup and enhance performance.

I accidentally paid for an extra month after meaning to cancel, and Flat quickly and totally refunded me the payment. Very respectable, and in stark contrast to Musescore.
In terms of the program- a fair bit of key functionality is limited in the free version and the paid version is still lacking just a couple features that allow better control over the notation, like lyric/other notation alignment, and playback sound control for example. But it's a very clean and intuitive and decently powerful web app that I've had lots of use for over the years and will continue to.

It's alright, but one major problem is the fact that you can only upload 15 scores without upgrading.
At least extend it to 50.

Thank you for your review. Our free plan indeed includes a cloud storage of 15 scores and numerous free features. You can get unlimited cloud storage with a paying subscription. Alternatively, you can export your files to MusicXML on your device and re-open them with Flat when needed.
