Fix Autos did a fine job
Not being a mechanic or knowing about body work repairs, I had decided before it went in for repairs to have my mechanic have a look after the works were completed.
My first impression was vey good, and this was confirmed with two mechanics who had it on a ramp and looked over all the work carefully. They were very impressed with the work, and I was very pleased. I would have no problem recommending this family business. Not only the work was five star but all communication, between me reception and the mechanics was also five star.
Being hit by another car and trying to sort it out was stressful, but in the end I couldn’t be more pleased with the garage side of things. Many thank. A. Nield.

Excellent Company
Excellent customer service from both Holly the receptionist and Ian who did the quote for the repair of my wifes Lexus. Once booked in, the repair was carried out to a very high standard and was very reasonably priced. We were kept informed of the progress and I would highly reccomend Fix Auto. They are well worthy of their 5 star rating. Many thanks.

Excellent customer service. Holly & Ian made regular contact, they advised the damage to vehicle, and explained each stage of repair.
The lady and gentleman who dropped off/picked up the courtesy car where excellent too.

Car is very nearly back to showroom condition.
Everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful and courteous. The repairs were carried out to a very high standard and the car was returned to me very quickly.

I love almost everything about their service except the the time taken for the repairs. I think,their repair time is long but if that is the best time then it's fine. The body work done was super!

Good repair but communication with customers could be improved
Good points:
Collected & returned car from/to home.
The lady & chap who collected were very friendly, pleasant & approachable, & talked through everything.
Car was given a clean too, which wasn't expected (although the boot was missed).
Bad points:
Despite making it clear at the time of collection that communication should be by text or email only, which the lady noted on the collection paperwork, Fix Auto always insisted on calling. This was inconsiderate, inconvenient & intrusive during the working day &, in general, rather irritating.
A list of updates appeared on the app very quickly but, after that, it was never updated, so it wasn't very useful for monitoring progress. Would have much preferred the app to be maintained, rather than getting numerous phone calls that couldn't be answered (due to being at work & not able to make or receive personal calls).
The only thing that changed often on the app was the stated location of the car. According to the app, it bounced frequently between the Chattenden & Aylesford sites, even though it transpired that the car was taken initially to the Chattenden site for the damaged to be assessed, but then taken to the Rainham site where it stayed for the rest of the time. Very disconcerting & not great for customer reassurance, especially when, after querying the first 'move', the manager said they had no idea why the app was showing the wrong location (& didn't seem very bothered that it was incorrect).

We were updated regularly on the repair. When it was compleat the car was delivered to my home. Everyone I deal with was polite, helpful and friendly. Repair was excellent.
