I had a truly awful experience with Fix Auto - AVOID!!!
I had a truly awful experience with this company from start to finish, and wanted to warn others (especially female drivers) who may be considering using this company.
I booked my vehicle in to have a series of small scratches fixed, (£700 plus VAT), and was given a hire car that didn’t start properly and had clearly seen better days.
My car was left with them for nine days, and when I told them I needed to collect it for it’s MOT they fobbed me off again and again, saying it would be ready later. I must have called them five times asking.
When I was finally allowed to collect it on the morning of my MOT, it was clear the work had not been carried out properly. They had missed several scratches and small chips of missing paintwork on either side of the vehicle, and when I pointed these out to Fraser, one of the business partners, he was extremely rude.
He went on to tell me it was an old car and that he’s done me a favour by repairing things I hadn’t asked for (it’s my pride and joy, and when bought was the top of the range Saab convertible, and has been very well looked after my my local Saab garage). He started raising his voice, huffing and puffing, and my son in law had to ask him to calm down. The front bumper hadn’t been re-attached properly, leaving a gap on one side, and the water jets hadn’t been removed. to carry out the re-spray, so the paint will flake off in a few years.
It is safe to say I would not recommend this company to anyone, but especially female drivers. His manner was appalling, and when Fraser’s business partner came out to take a look, he did have to apologise on his partner’s behalf for the way I’d been spoken to.
Please take your vehicle elsewhere, would
be my recommendation.

The reviewer did not request a hire car as part of the estimate, yet we still provided one as a goodwill gesture — one of our own personal vehicles — to support her while her car was off the road.

We take our works van there for MOT and services happy to help excellent service staff polite and now we are signed up to whats app notifications and receive a message when the vans are ready to collect

Even after the collection and inspection of the vehicle and finding a small dent, the team simply jumped into action to make sure everything was satisfactory.
