Heavy Going!
Course was way too academic & “assignment heavy”. More hands-on, real world practice was needed. I definitely would not have signed up to do the course if I’d been aware, IN ADVANCE, of how much time was needed in ADDITION to attending F2F sessions. Cert3/4 Fitness course needs to be longer - possibly done over 2 x 20 week semesters (as against current model of 2 x 14 weeks units)

We understand the course can feel intensive, and that’s because the fitness industry demands highly knowledgeable and capable personal trainers. Our programs are deliberately comprehensive so graduates are confident working with clients safely and effectively-avoiding injuries and delivering high-quality results.
While our course includes face to face, practical, real-world learning in every unit, there is also an academic component. Approximately 20% of the course is completed online, where students review lectures and complete assessments to ensure they fully understand the theory behind exercise prescription, anatomy, and training principles. This theoretical foundation is essential for any competent personal trainer.
We also keep our courses to a 14-week structure because most students choose FIT College specifically to qualify sooner and begin working in the industry as quickly as possible. Our model allows students to complete nationally recognised qualifications in a shorter time frame without compromising on quality.

Mark and troy (teachers) are great, ive never experienced such a warm and welcoming learning environment and i hope to be more like them. The support is great everyone is always keen to help and answer any questions i have, im grateful to have met all the people ive met through this course and i wish them all the best. SO much better than online courses
It has been so enjoyable doing Cert III & IV with Fit College in person. I attempted an online course a couple of years ago with another provider and dumped it because it was terrible. This time around I only wanted to study in-person and it's been a fantastic experience. I've been training for a few years & worked with my own coach so I had a good level of foundational knowledge, and I’ve still learned much more than I expected to. The biggest benefits are being able to apply the practical learning immediately, working with a variety of peers all with different movement patterns and levels of fitness, seeing how my programming works in practice (not role plays) and having an industry professional to learn from and bounce ideas off in real time. It's fast-paced but well worth the investment.

Good instruction, good content, useful activities. The way the course is run and structured is very well done and the support systems are useful. All knowledge acquired was useful and applicable to the PT industry.
The only criticism I have is the interactive pdfs that have a lot of formatting issues with filling text into the different cells.

Be careful when signing up and ensure you are 100% sure the course is for you as there is virtually no flexibility if your circumstances change.

Thank you for your feedback. Our courses are intentionally short and intensive, and we make this clear during enrolment because students need to be ready to commit. Our face-to-face programs also have limited seats, so when someone enrols, we hold that place for them. That is why it is important to be confident the course is right for you before signing the contract.
Entering any payment plan requires reading and understanding the agreement, just like you would when taking out a loan for a car. We encourage every student to take their time, ask questions, and make sure they are fully prepared before committing. We value your input and will continue working to ensure our enrolment process is clear and supportive.

I'm so glad that I chose to do the full-time, in-person Cert 3 course at the Bond Street gym - it was awesome!
Our trainers - Michael and Jess - were both really knowledgeable, approachable and fun which helped bring the course to life. I really enjoyed all the practical sessions and learning from both my trainers and classmates. I would 100% recommend this course!

The 7 week in person course for the cert 4 is NOT the way to go. Signed up for the 7 weeks in person to start and finish it after starting online and realising online wasn't for me, but no one in my class even completed the course and had their cert by the end of the 7 weeks. Then I was left to do it online after with very poor support.

After reviewing your file, we can see that our education and student support teams provided extensive assistance throughout your studies. You were given a complimentary course extension (valued at $150), regular guidance from your educator Michael, and ongoing invitations to both our weekly face-to-face support sessions and twice-weekly online support sessions.
It’s important to note that the 7-week in-person course is a fast-paced, intensive program that requires a high level of attendance and participation — approximately 80% of the course is completed on campus. Unfortunately, you were frequently late or absent from class, which made it difficult to complete the required coursework within the scheduled timeframe. Our team made every effort to help you catch up and provided additional opportunities for support outside of class hours.
We’re pleased to confirm that you did go on to complete and receive your Certificate IV in Fitness, and we sincerely congratulate you on achieving this qualification.
While we’re proud of the support we offer, we appreciate all feedback and will continue to refine our delivery to ensure every student has the best chance of success.
