Absolutely top-notch customer service. Helped me swap over an incompatible part that I ordered by mistake with no hassle, no fuss and a smile. Technical support has been brilliant too, my installer has called a few times and every time immediately spoke to someone knowledgeable and helpful.

We have had a firebird environmax combi for 9 years and it has been hell. Every year without fail something goes wrong with faulty parts which means we have weeks with no heating / hot water. This time a pump failed after being replaced just 12mths ago. If it wasn't for home emergency cover it would have cost us thousands in repairs. I have never experienced anything like it. Please avoid at all costs!!

after an initial problem, Firebird stepped up and fulfilled their promise to right things. We had an excellent engineer arrive on Tuesday 31 Oct and he did his best to sort things out, as well as being apologetic about prior issues.
Full credit to Firebird for making things better. Am grateful for this!

Since replacing our old Worcester Bosch boiler with a firebird, I’ve had to get an engineer to call 8 times over a period of 4 years to rectify various faults, each of which has resulted in loss of heating and hot water. Only one (an individual suggested by Firebird ) has been able to provide a fix lasting more than a year.
Unless your budget is very limited, avoid Firebird- clearly they are built to a price, but you pay for this in quality and poor reliability.

After 3 years of boiler trouble Alan Marcon came to the rescue! We met at the Great Yorkshire Show where Firebird had a stand and Alan and Lee were keen to assist us. We made a plan for Lee to send out some parts and Alan to come and have a look, he was very professional and knew the job inside out. He promised he'd have the boiler up and running in no time and thats exactly what he did. We havent had any problems since and wouldnt hesitate to recommend him. Hopefully he'll come back and service our boiler in the future! Lee from Firebird was also great in assisting us when we needed replacement parts. All in all fantastic service, thank you.

Professional,efficient and knowledgeable
We had been let down several times when booking an engineer to service our boiler.
Matt gave us contact details for a Firebird recommended local heating engineer who arrived promptly and did a thorough service of the boiler.
Firebird genuinely appreciated our predicament and we now have a reliable engineer for next year’s service

I had a leak on a 2½ year old oil boiler and in taking advice from a very helpful FB service engineer, following conflicting advice from a local plumber, they asked that I send the heat exchanger back to FB for inspection. The unit was returned on the 02/06 and despite 19 emails and a number of phone calls the majority asking for an update, promises of it being inspected and returned have still not been honoured. It is now 9 weeks and 4 days since the unit was sent and with still no sign of it, yet another call had to be made today to their customer service dept. to be told yet again they will investigate the delay. This is appalling customer service. I welcome Firebirds comments
Update 17/08/23:- Despite FB's platitudes of being "truly disappointed", "your satisfaction is important to us", "taken steps to rectify the situation" I can assure you I was far more disappointed than you that yesterday 16/08, I had the need to contact FB YET AGAIN to find out where my heat exchanger was...!!! It arrived this morning 17/08 precisely 10 weeks and 6 days after it was first sent. Considering your comments I was astounded that I was left to chase it again. Appalling service.

we had a serious problem where initially our Firebird boiler seemed to have not been registered. This had set quite a problem to our service plan which is now due.
I contacted Matthew Cook at Firebird & he promised to look into the problem & phone me back. He was very prompt in doing just that & to our absolute delight confirmed that our 10 year VIP warranty is confirmed.
Absolute fantastic customer service thank you so much & also your colleague Lauren.
If you are considering replacing your old boiler Firebird is a Winner

Had issue with a boiler that had not been registered but Harvey at Firebird sorted this after a phone call and he then followed up by an email. Great Customer Service.

I had a Firebird range installed in 2016 and it has been the most problematic thing I’ve ever owned. The staff turnover at Firebird has meant there has been no continuity with the ongoing issues. The cooker breaks down regularly and is very unreliable. It is repaired and even had a complete rebuild despite not being very old! I have been asking since 2021 for the company to take it back, this has never been resolved, getting responses from customer service is very slow. They have now refused to help further. It says something about the product if the company won’t even take it back. Get an Aga and avoid Firebird

I was not very happy when my boiler had a major leak and we had to shut the water supply off feeding it. My partner is severely disabled and the lack of heating and water was a major problem. Our boiler engineer located the problem which was a plastic fitting in the boiler on the cold supply that had broke, this in turn sprayed water all over, in turn damaging the diverter valve. The engineer diagnosed the problem and tried to order a new diverter valve, however there was none in stock anywhere.. As a standby he managed to get our hot water working but not the heating..
After a couple of weeks of struggling with no heating and the weather bitterly cold I rung Firebird myself in desperation and was put through to Mathew. I explained my problem and that I was in a desperate situation and if the problem could not be sorted promptly we would have to move into a hotel.
Mathew explained why no valves were available but after a couple of hours of leaving it with him he had sourced one from an engineer and it was posted out to me the same day.. This chappie is an absolute star and a credit to Firebird, and I think he should be well rewarded for his customer care skills..
Please accept my apologies in not providing a review earlier but other difficulties have had to be dealt with.
