This is Firebird Ireland. We got a firebird condenser boiler c35 in August 2019 recommended by a local firebird heating engineer who said oh 20 yrs at least out of itand gave us the firebird boiler passport and then disappeared. So we got a local heating engineer to service every August. It got a bit stinky in 2023 and despite 3 callouts we couldn't find the problem. So then in November 2023 to January 2024 my immersion tank leaked at the top and my bathtap split. The failsafes on the boiler despite having 2 had failed leading to the water overheating. We replaced both and taps and pipes. Then in May 2025 water in the heating system started to go down. We spent thousands with the find a leak underfloor people, getting the waterline rerun to the boiler manifold as they thought there were 2 joins underground. Having radiators cleaned out by magnets. Finally the engineer said even though there is no outward sign of a leak on the sealed boiler there must be a crack inside the unit as when he pressurised the water to the boiler unit it decreased gradually and also the awful smell went too. I rang Firebird Ireland and although the problem started in 2023 we were not covered by 5 yr sealed unit cover as we didn't report it .He also said he thought the firebird installer never put the inhibitor into the heating water supply which lead to all these problems but that would not affect the failsafe surely?. So now we have to replace it at Christmas after paying €2600 in 2019. We will go back to Grants boilers which never gave us a problem before and we have been quoted €2000 including install and equipment and has a local guy who has 15 yrs servicing Grants.
If Carlsberg made scrap oil boilers with crap burners they would be called Firebird… pure and utter junk!!!!

We have had a Firebird boiler for 7 years, having had the brand highly recommended to us. We have had to learn how to work with this boiler and manage it during this period, and there have been a few challenges which have always been fixed without issue often with just a call to Firebirds technical team for guidance. Recently we had a bigger failure with the pump needing replacement, which then led onto further visits and parts being replaced by our local heating company who still couldn't resolve the issue. When Matthew at Firebird became aware of our issue and my frustration with the repair saga that was unfolding, he immediately phoned me directly and offered to send the Firebird Senior engineer Kenny the next day. Kenny arrived on time, and immediately gave me confidence that these were great boilers and he would resolve the problem as well as checking the whole boiler and flue over whilst he was here to ensure everything was set up correctly. He was at all times professional, talked to us as to what he was doing and was very reassuring as he could tell I was not happy with the overall situation. Kenny did find the problem which was down to faulty workmanship from our local engineers first repair. The support and customer service I received from both Matthew and Kenny was exemplary, and I greatly appreciated Matthew volunteering without me asking that Kenny's time and any parts used would be covered by Firebird to ensure things were resolved and I was happy. The care and consideration they both showed, and concern that I was not happy with the boiler went a long way in restoring my confidence with Firebird. A big thank you to both of them for their service which marks Firebird out from other manufacturers.

We have been working along side Firebird for a number of years and have only ever received impeccable service. Their boilers are efficient, reliable and are always our first choice to install. Their customer service is also second to none and they come with our highest recommendation.

We were having some issues with our boiler and I thought it would be useful to see if the manufacturer could help. I went to their website & left a brief description of what was happening and asked if they could help. I received a reply from Matthew, the Customer Service Manager, the very next morning.
Through all our conversations, he kept a keen interest in what was happening and close contact with the engineers involved in making repairs. He made us feel comfortable the issue would be resolved & no problem was too great.
The matter was resolved in a very timely manner with his assistance. Given this level of support, I will certainly be purchasing any future boilers from Firebird!

Excellent, friendly service. Had a breakdown caused by poor installation and Matt @ Firebird in Plymouth was very helpful in getting the situation resolved.

My guarantee was just out but had two breakdowns. One last year in guarantee which was sorted super quick.
This time out of guarantee but contacted Mr Cook from Firebird as thought to breakdown again appeared a faulty part. Mr Cook agreed to supply both parts free of charge for my engineer to fit
Very happy and most satisfied

Phoned Firebird as I have had a few issues with my boiler talked to a young gentleman called Mathew who was supper efficient and he talked to my boiler engineer and the part was delivered next day. Thank you

Brilliant Service !
We had problems with our boiler years after it had been installed. My Local plumber reached out to Fire Bird and within a day they were here and replaced most of the internal pipe work and got it running like new again.

Installed a envirogreen kitchen and owner very happy with how efficient and quite compared to there old 30year boiler.

I've had the boiler in for 4 years, it has broken down approximately 10 times. I have become friendly with the service engineer because he is here so often fixing the boiler. I have got so frustrated that I have asked Firebird for a refund so I can buy another type of boiler. Home heating is important as I'm a 70+ pensioner with severe health issues.
Had some issues with our oil boiler cutting out . Contacted Matthew at customer services Plymouth . The service was excellent and with help and advice everything is now working as it should , very pleased.

Firebird fitter called and put our boiler right after 6 years of misery with it .He found the problem in minutes (our heating engineer spent years trying to find out what was wrong and couldn't) your man has fixed it so i now have lovely hot water and radiators.The problem was the man who put it in !! it wasn't correctly done so now i'm really happy. Thanks Firebird and the man you sent was lovely
