Awful

Awful, had a subscription and could not get logged in. Tech support was no where to be found. Would not recommend. Will try a similar site.

Great tool for serious investors

I’ve been using Fintel.io for a few months now and it’s become one of my go-to tools for tracking the market. The layout is simple enough that I can quickly find what I’m looking for, but it also has a ton of detailed data when I want to dig deeper. I especially like being able to see institutional holdings and insider trades in one place without having to hunt around different sites.
and its the least expensive of all the research platforms you can find for all the information it provides.

Stole my money

Paid for subscription using Cash App. Payment went through but I was not guided to any registration. Now I can’t login to use it because the website says my email is not on file when I try to reset password. Emailed tech support mutiple times and escalated the ticket but still haven’t received a response after a week. I feel like I’ve been robbed. Still can’t login. Checked email every day and spam folder but no reponse. I disputed the charge but they claimed they delivered the service and got my dispute denied.

caters to dark pool

i only use the free service but noticed that it does cater to the dark pool by delaying certain information. when the short interest is delayed, expect dark pool manipulation.

This belief of yours is a conspiracy theory that's been around since the GME squeeze. It has been discredited many times, but I will try my best to do it again for you here.

The belief that there are short shares hidden away in dark pools, which prevents some companies from squeezing, and that if only these short shares were made visible, the squeeze would happen and shareholders would get rich.

This belief is based on a few flawed assumptions. First of all, the idea that short shares are "stored" in dark pools. There are no shares stored in dark pools. Shares are in accounts. When two entities want to trade, they publish their bids and offers in lit markets and dark pools.

If they agree on pricing, the trade is made, and published (even trades made in dark pools are published!), and then, a day or three later, the actual shares are transferred from the accounts of the related parties. At no point does a share of a company ever exist in a dark pool. There is no storage of shares in dark pools, so this idea of "dark pool manipulation" is completely nonsensical.

Additionally, there is this idea that if only these mystery shares hidden away in dark pools were made public, a squeeze would happen (if only!). The reality is that squeezes are not dependent on public knowledge of how many shares are short.

Squeezes happen when there are two few shares in a stock. We could completely stop counting and publishing short interest data, and squeezes would still happen if there were two few shares in a stock.

So this leads to my final point. If we don't see a squeeze in a stock, then there are not too few shares - anywhere - there must not be any hidden shares squirreled away in some mystery place that nobody can see.

We do our best to provide the best information available in a timely, accurate, and informative way. Please do not accuse us of "catering" to bad actors based on an old, discredited conspiracy theory. We are honest people doing our best. We do not deserve this.

I tried several times to send messages…

I tried several times to send messages to customer service, but I got no response. I paid the full annual subscription for access to the Silver account, but the account is not working. They say my email is not active, even though it was the email I used for my registration. This is very disappointing.

I am sure this is very frustrating. I spoke with our customer service team and they informed me that they emailed you repeatedly but you never responded to them. So basically, we got your emails and responded, but it doesn't seem like you ever saw any of our responses.

In addition to email support, we also offer web based support. At the bottom of every page is a link you can follow to submit help requests via our web interface. I checked our system and I saw no requests from you.

If you still want help, try using the web based system instead of email since that doesn't appear to work.

What can I say? Information is key. Fintech is the answer to compiling and interpreting critical trends. Nobody, and I mean nobody compiles it better than Fintel. They are the de facto standard!

Helpful Platform at an Affordable Rate

I've been using Fintel.IO for almost three years, and while I haven't made a fortune, I have avoided taking some risks, which has saved me a lot of money. I recently showed the platform to a colleague who was once involved in day trading, and it reignited his interest in it. There is a lot to take in, but key indications and explanations help make it easier to understand. While I am not in the market for a living, I am willing to pay a premium for something that will help me make financial decisions for retirement when the opportunity arises.
