Illegally blocked a public road restriction access to my driveway without a proper permit - was told "only be a couple of hours"

Thanks to engineer Mr Dave Edwards for installing our new fibre Internet. Great service received indeed. Our first time to have fibre internet at our house and he explained everything from installing to when connecting online. Thank you again.

Period from placing order and having work started prolonged and frustrating. However, once the actual work of installation began , it was a very easy, professional operating. Bringing cable into my home was carried out in 30 minutes through existing ducts rather than excavating driveway. Within 48 hours an engineer, Dave Edwards arrived to check the set up and then offered to complete this connection which he did most professionally, explaining each stage of work and finally leaving my home after cleaning up all signs of his work. All involved with the installation deserve great credit.Des Roberts

Expired broadband offers listed as though still active on website for Squirrel Red, clicking through no such offer exists and in chat to Squirrel they refuse to honour it.

Any expired offer should be clearly marked as such to prevent confusion and someone accidentally buying something and not realising the contract is different to what they clicked though on.

After having no Internet for nearly 4 weeks and multiple engineers visits who couldn't be bothered to investigate the issue or properly diagnose the problem I finally had a visit from Dave Edwards from Fibre Heros, it took him less then 5 mins to diagnose the issue with a pole in my street and fixed the issue within an hour, this 5 star review is for Dave only as he is a outstanding experienced engineer and went the extra mile to get me back online, can't thank him enough.

Dave our local engineer was prompt and polite, service is always first class.

Dave and his colleague made a first class job of our fibre optic installation. They, we're chatty and personable, and told us what was happening every step of the way.

After a lot of teething problems I finally had my Fibre Broadband installed which is working perfectly.The experience was made so much better by Mr David Edwards who handled my account .I cannot praise this guy highly enough and would have no trouble in recommending him to future customers.Happy New Year everyone.

FTTP was installed by Fibre Heroes on 27th November after signing up with BeFibre on 20th. Just a week - not bad!
An engineer came on the Monday and brought the cable to the house from a telegraph pole across the road. On the Wednesday Brandon connected it through into the house and set up the router - here about an hour, no fuss, no bother - excellent (it's not just Dave and Wayne!).

So far the line speed is better than I ordered but that may change as more sign up.

I had a fantastic experience with the BeFibre broadband installation, thanks to Steve from Fibre Heroes. He was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. The installation was smooth and efficient, with Steve taking the time to ensure everything was set up correctly. He patiently answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with the setup before leaving. The connection has been fast and reliable since the installation. I highly recommend Steve for his excellent service!

Third time in a year that the internet has gone down now on 3rd day with no internet connection. Engineer yesterday reallocated to another job with no explanation. Today Saturday no time slot of engineers sorting problem only a day slot with no time. If not done today will be Monday at the earliest as engineers don't work on Sundays.

Installation for service from Squirrel Internet scheduled for 26th July was cancelled due to "tree cutting required" (even though I already have an Openreach fibre connection from the pole opposite my house). No reason to fault Squirrel who are trying their best to get me on board but a warning to anyone else who have to use Full Fibre/ Fibre Heroes as their network supplier. They seem to be less than ideal (in the Worcestershire area at least) as they are yet to respond to enquiries from Squirrel on how to progress my installation and have even ignored two direct emails from me in the last week. Very nervous now about any problems I may have in the future when and if I am ever connected to their network.

Update: contacted yesterday by Squirrel to say that FF have reported difficulty in contacting the owners of the tree (a church). Also learned that FF do not generally talk to end users like myself (an acknowledgment and explanation at least from FF themselves would have been nice though!). I have contacted the church now and details passed via Squirrel to FF. If things now progress smoothly I will revisit this review and up my rating. My faith is Squirrel, however, remains at a solid 100% so I am eager to join their clan.
Final edit: rating remains at 1 star since Squirrel have cancelled my order now as they do not deem the amount of tree cutting required to make my custom viable. Why couldn't they have told me this back in July when they first visited? I will never be tempted by any ISP using Fibre Heroes again. This review is going on their other "Full Fibre" entry too.

Placed an order with Squirrel late June, had the team out to do the pre-pull who were excellent. June 12th was the install date and couldn't have gone better. Had Dave Edwards (I think that was his name, I do apologise if not!) do the install, was due to be someone else but Dave called and explained they'd called in sick so he'd be on his way but may be late. Nice to be updated as I was getting a bit worried!
Dave was brilliant, did a bang up job, nice and tidy and went through everything. Couldn't be happier! Thanks Dave!

We recently had fibre installed at our property by the Fibre Heroes guys. The service we received was second to none. I've been battling with BT and Open reach since October 2023 to get it installed only to be let down time after time. I even had to approach the telecoms ombudsman due to the complete lack of service from BT. What a breath of Fresh air these guys are. Full credit to Dave Edwads and his team. They went above and beyond to ensure we got the service we were promised by BeFibre. Highly recommended.
