This Fast Conversational Spanish program has been incredible! The coaches are truly amazing – they're knowledgeable, patient, and so encouraging every step of the way. Not only have I improved my Spanish skills dramatically, but I've also made genuine friends through the classes, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

There are plenty of classes to choose from, offering the flexibility I need. I'm also really impressed that Peter is always looking for ways to grow and improve the program – it never feels static or stale. The individualized attention I've received has pushed me to break through my own mental barriers and really become conversational in Spanish.

If you're looking for a fun, effective, and supportive way to learn Spanish, I can't recommend this program enough!

My contact with the coaches on the course has been exemplary! Their enthusiasm and knowledge have never left me disappointed. Through their dedicated time and effort, I am now actually speaking Spanish without fear of making mistakes - and believe me the mistakes do happen!

This program has pushed my comprehension of conversational Spanish ahead. I have been studying since middle school and until now, unable to actually understand. I feel motivated to keep going and get my verbal skills up to speed. I like that it is a combination of self study with live teachers to meet you at your specific ability level.

The instructors were incredibly helpful and great teachers. All of them are native Spanish speakers. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to learn Spanish.

The student/ customer service is very good. The course/ program progression is solid and works for me.
The instructors are adept at helping and correcting fundamentals in the one on one's and in the classes.
They provide tailored pro active exercises to help students improve and avoid difficulties
The videos and flash cards tools are just right. You can set your own pace using them.
Class scheduling is easy to adapt to. Especially from a Pacific time zone. ( Probaby not very convenient for European and Asian zones.)
Class conduct by the instructor/ teachers is balanced for the level of the students.
The teacher seem to move the class faster with fun and stay focused.
Overall it's like getting a private individual course with a good social environment.

Overall, I really enjoy the Fast Conversational Spanish program. The content is engaging, and I’ve learned a lot so far. However, I think the way the program is structured could be improved to make it more effective for learners to succeed.
While it's marketed as a "fast" program, the pace feels inconsistent. Sometimes the lessons move too quickly without enough reinforcement, while other times there’s too much repetition without advancing the material.
It would be helpful if there was a clearer roadmap of where the program is headed, including more milestones or check-ins even feedback from the teachers to track progress. A more structured progression would help learners feel confident that they are advancing step-by-step.
I appreciate the instructor interaction, but sometimes the lack of feedback doesn’t seem timely enough to correct mistakes early. More regular or prompt feedback could be beneficial.

Thank you for your detailed reply. I appreciate the time you took to address each of the points I raised. I understand that the program offers a lot of resources, and I acknowledge that I may not have fully taken advantage of every aspect. However, my review was based on “my personal experience” and “my perception as a learner”, and I shared it in the spirit of providing CONSTRUCTIVE feedback not to cause DEFENSIVENESS.

While I understand that the program is self-paced, the feeling of inconsistency I mentioned comes from how the material and lessons are presented, not necessarily the availability of resources. It might be helpful for learners if there were clearer prompts or suggestions on when to move forward or review; For Example, it was presented after passing the Beginner Reading Test we could move onto Beginner Conversation and Beginner Vocab but not move onto Intermediate Reading…Some of the decisions on pacing can feel a bit ambiguous, especially for those who aren’t as confident in their progress.

Regarding the roadmap, I do see the structure of Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4, but more guidance on how to incorporate the various resources (like live classes, videos, and tests) in a cohesive way would help. For example, while I know there are unlimited live classes, it would be great to have suggestions on how frequently to take them or integrate them into the learning plan based on individual progress.

Lastly, about feedback, I didn’t intend to suggest that coaches aren’t giving it, but rather that more frequent, specific, or actionable feedback would be useful in some cases. I don’t feel it is necessary to do this over an accountability call as my learning experience differs from the next student on the call. While I’ve made progress, more direct input on areas of weakness early on could be beneficial to avoid building bad habits.

I appreciate the follow-up and remain committed to completing the program. I’m confident that with a bit more structure or guidance, it could be even more effective for learners like me.

I like setup of the online course. By following the lessons in order, am I seeing results. I am more confident in my reading skills and starting to become more confident in my listening comprehension and speaking skills. I love the classes because the instructors are truly vested in your success. I enjoy being able to interact with other learners in the classes, the ability to practice speaking Spanish and listening to others in order to gauge my progress. The number of classes available fit perfectly in my schedule. I have tried numerous Spanish learning programs and apps in the past. But none of them have yielded the results I have achieved with Fast Conversational Spanish in just 6 months. I am excited about the progress I have made since joining in February of this year and I have no doubt that as long as I continue to follow the course as outlined, that I will be conversationally fluent by the completion of the course.

I really enjoy the instructors who continue to encourage my journey learning a new language.

Excellent well designed program that takes you to higher levels of speaking and listening

Super friendly staff, always very helpful and supportive. The program is very useful for those who need to just buckle down and drill conjugating, and if you have classes everyday, the price is right too, especially if you do it with a spouse (they have a 2 for 1 deal sometimes).

Over the last 10 years, I have tried many ways to learn Spanish. Fast Conversational Spanish is the first thing that is REALLY working! A great program, with a great team of teachers, and lots of personal support. I highly recommend this program!

It’s easy to follow, it’s fun and it’s effective.

My wife and I are English speakers living in a Spanish speaking country, we tried learning Spanish, using a private tutor , local Spanish language schools and even YouTube videos. The result was that after a few years, we still could not understand when the locals spoke with us, even though we had an extensive amount of vocabulary. Having previously lived in Europe we both speak some French so language learning was not new to us.

After joining Fast Conversational Spanish, we quickly realized that this was a totally different learning concept to what we had experienced previously. The FCS program began by teaching us how to listen, to first hear the words that are being said…and later to understand. The idea being that if you do not hear most of the actual words, it would be difficult to understand the conversation, even with a vast amount of vocabulary under your belt. Imagine having earplugs or a good noise cancelling headphone on while someone talks to you..you don’t hear any words so you don’t know whats being said (unless you can read lips :) ), but if you remove the earplugs and or headphones you can now hear the words )

This made a huge difference for the both of us, we are still very new to the FCS programme but we can already see results, our neighbors and friends have been commenting on our progress.

One of the many things that we love about FCS is that we can attend live zoom classes, at our current level, everyday of the week, several times per day if we wish, we are not limited as with schools where you pay for a specified number of classes per week. The coaches are all friendly native Spanish speakers from different countries so you get the advantage of hearing the different accents and customs of the Spanish language.

We can highly recommend the FCS programme to anyone looking to learn Spanish, its certainly working for us and we are sure it will for you also.

FCS is an excellent way to learn
Spanish at your own speed. What I like most of all is the flexibility and the numerous on line classes that are offered 5 days a week,with Spanish speaking teachers.

Hola. I really enjoy taking classes with Fast Conversational Spanish because there are so many opportunities to find an available class each and every day! All levels are accessible and the coaches/teachers are amazing. They are very knowledgeable about the Spanish language and how second-language learners learn. They are patient and understanding when it comes to us making errors, however, for me, it is very important that they correct my errors so that I don't fossilize them.

I signed up and paid in advance for one year of this program as a high-intermediate student--partially based on the Trust Pilot reviews. I deeply regret that and feel like I was snookered by a high pressure, one-hour sales call. The class material has many, many errors and teaches concepts that are very unorthodox and even incorrect. I have attended many programs--Instituto Cervantes, Pimsleur, and Spanish language schools in Argentina and Costa Rica. After one month of this program I was shocked at how poorly the training material--mainly Quizlet flash cards--convey important concepts--many times erroneously. The other schools I attended all had some form of accreditation and I felt confident that what I was being taught would lead me to speak, read, and write Spanish as an educated person. FCS teaches so many things that cannot be considered correct--34 verb tenses, beginning first person singular sentences always with "Yo", capitalizing names of the months and days of the week, etc. I have totally lost confidence that I can learn anything from this program and so am out the $2750 I paid for a one year program. There was no policy for refunds and when I twice requested this in writing, I was simply encouraged to try other classes. This has been a total waste of time and money for me, not to mention the disappointment of making a serious commitment to learning Spanish when this program is not for serious students.

The teachers make the experience great. I took one month off and was able to jump right back in with the help of Marilyn in Beginner Reading!
