You couldn't ask for a better tutor than Ben. He makes you feel completely comfortable, whatever your level of experience. His experience is extensive. His teaching style is geared to how you think is best for how you like to learn. He is very clear in his teaching and very patient with no question seen as daft.
He is well worth every penny. no need to look elsewhere.
By then end of his tutorials you will be feel very competent in Gerber and to practice on your own.

Great introduction to Gerber AccuMark!

I have done flat pattern cutting and tailoring for a long time but never used Gerber or Lectra and this was a great way to get an understanding of the program. Ben is very experienced, good at teaching someone completely new to the program and very helpful. After the introduction you get one calendar month to practice yourself so you can develop your new skills further.

I would recommend to use a computer with windows and not a Mac since I felt it made the workflow a bit more difficult for me. However once I learned the keyboard shortcuts it was easier on the Mac.

Very happy about taking this course and I strongly recommend it to anyone else interested in Gerber.

I recently did some 1-to-1 remote Gerber training with Ben. I used Gerber at a previous workplace, so I just wanted to run through the tools and get used to the software again. Ben had prepared some fantastic exercises which helped to build my understanding and confidence. I found he was a patient tutor and really easy to communicate with. The course has a structure set out to cover all of the basic functions but Ben is very flexible and we could go as quickly or slowly in different areas as needed to ensure the teaching is understood. He tailors the sessions to the individual’s needs, making sure we get the most out of the time. The sessions were interactive which really helped to have Ben’s support when trying out new functions. Ben happily answered all of my questions throughout the training and we were able to spend more time going into detail of specific functions at request. During November to January 2023/24 I attended regular one to one online training with Ben for the AccuMark Gerber PDS.
Being an experienced manual patternmaker myself, I was keen to learn the Gerber system from someone who had current industry experience making digital patterns and Ben certainly fitted the bill!
I was concerned that being in Australia with an eleven hour time difference would be an obstacle but this was not a problem. Ben delivered the course very early in the morning London time, to allow me to attend in the evening which was very much appreciated.
Not only did Ben's detailed instruction cover the technical perspective, he readily shared insights and tips on the best use of the system to save time, organise pattern files, and importantly how to avoid costly mistakes.
Ben's relaxed and calm style of teaching meant that I felt comfortable to learn at my own pace, with time to try new functions on my system and ask for clarification whenever required.

I attended the Gerber Accumark for Beginners course with Ben. The course content was thorough and covered all the topics required from Beginner through to more intermediate functions, including some additional training in Digitising which was a very welcome surprise. The setup that Ben uses utilising AnyDesk means that learners can access their own version of the software on their own mini desktop remotely. The pace was perfect, with bite-sized chunks of demos followed by the chance to practice and perfect each step learned.

Ben is a knowledgeable and patient instructor that I would definitely recommend! I was returning to Gerber after a few years away so I was looking for some short refresher training. Mac users, I highly recommend getting a Bluetooth Microsoft external keyboard so that all the shortcut commands will function properly. The reason I gave 4 stars not 5 was because I had issues trying to take control of the screen while on Teams with Ben. My mouse was too 'jumpy' so wouldn't grab onto points with ease which was frustrating.
The best part of the service for me was the remote practice. It allowed me to practice as much as I needed, on my own, at my own pace. I feel confident again using Gerber so am very pleased!
