My father and I set up a little outside garden every year using seeds I make/pollen chucked. For whatever reason, they sex late but finish early. We plant two seeds per pot figuring there’s a good probability one is female and one is male, then make the chop as late as middle of August. But with probability, we also end up with two females in one pot or pots with no plants left at all. This season the old man wanted to grow a few monster trees in 400 gallon pots, and we didn’t want to waste time, root space, dirt, and fertilizer costs on a male. I looked into sex test kits, ran across Farmer Freeman, and saw that multiple “famous” growers I respect follow Farmer Freeman. So I was took a shot and ordered 18 tests on 4/20. Tests were sent out that day. It was super easy to do, and I got my results back *FAST.* One plant result said it needed to be retested. I figured it would take several more days, but they sent me the result 12 hours later! (it was a male…. But that’s not Farmer Freeman’s fault). We were so satisfied, I ordered another 10 tests on some later starters, and got the results back today (5/28), and I am pleasantly surprised again how quickly they got it done.
I’ll be ordering tests from Farmer Freeman for all my seed starts from now on. It doesn’t just pay for itself. For us it saves more money than the tests cost and will increase overall yield. I can’t recommend them enough

The quick turn around and the expertise is honestly second to none. I just wish it was cheaper, having to wait for discounts to 10$ feels bad when I want to start a new batch and have to shell out an extra 125$.
