They locked my account
After I signed up I deposited some ETH.
I contacted support because my deposit was not credited for suspiciously long time. Their response:
"Hello! Thank you for contacting support. The deposit has already been successfully credited to your account. It required 3 confirmations, and your transaction received 176 — well above the threshold. We apologize for the delay in processing. Occasionally, deposits may be temporarily held due to automated security checks or brief synchronization issues between systems. These measures are in place to ensure the safety of your funds. Everything is now resolved, and your funds are available. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out — we're here to help!"
The deposit was indeed credited (but with unexpected delay).
Some of the ETH I put on the "flexible EXMON earn".
I made a limit order to sell ETH (ETH/USDT pair). After some time I cancelled the order and made a new limit order with higher price.
But that order disappeared from the order list.
For some time the previous (cancelled) order appeared on the list.
But after some more time the first (cancelled) order also disappeared.
I made a small withdrawal of ETH to test if this feature will work. It worked.
So majority of the deposited ETH is locked in an "invisible" pending order that disappeared. Some of the ETH is in the "flexible EXMON earn" product.
I contacted the support, first they said not to worry, my ETH is safe.
"Hi, No worries — your funds are safe. We’ll double-check the transaction and the open order status on your account. Could you please confirm if you recently canceled or modified the ETH/USDT order? That will help us verify it faster. We’ll get back to you shortly after the review. Thanks for your patience."
"Thanks for the details — that’s very helpful. Please don’t worry, your funds are safe. We’ll review both the cancelled and the new ETH/USDT orders directly in the transaction log to confirm their exact status. It’s possible the order record is just not displaying correctly at the moment — we’ll verify it and make sure everything reflects properly in your balance. We’ll update you shortly after the check."
"We’re still checking the order in detail — it’s taking a bit longer than expected because we want to review every step carefully. Your ETH is completely safe, and we’ll update you as soon as the verification is finished."
"Your account has been temporarily restricted while our security team completes a detailed review of recent transactions. This is a standard procedure when we detect inconsistencies that require manual verification. Please refrain from any further actions until the review is finished. You’ll receive an update once the verification is completed."
But after some time they locked my account due to "exploit".
"Your account has been permanently restricted due to a confirmed attempt to exploit the Platform. This action is taken under Article 35 of the EXMON Terms of Use. The activity observed on-chain has been classified as suspicious and has been referred to our AML/Compliance team for further processing. All related activity has been logged and retained. Withdrawals and trading remain suspended. Further actions (including asset disposition or reporting to relevant authorities) will follow according to platform policy and applicable regulations."
