The auto fill in doesnt work it resets all fields, this is to be looked after, but if the form is filled in normally by hand, it works. Not sure why I had to go back and upload my passport photo, as I believe I didnt miss it in the first place and my residence address the same, not sure where I missed it. Other than that all good.
Got scammed - they charged $282 for two UK ETA permits that cost $54 total on the official government website. My husband didn’t have his eyes open. Will fight! Suggestions welcome.
Evisalegal charged me $564 when the UK government website asked less questions and charged only $112.44.
I stopped after submitting payment to Evisalegal when I realized I was not on the UK government website. My application was incomplete and not submitted. So I requested a refund. Their response:
"After reviewing your refund request, we regret to inform you that according to our
return and withdrawal policies that you accepted, your order is not subject to refund as it is a personalized service.
Chapter 3, Article 16, paragraph C.DIRECTIVE 2011/83/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL on consumer rights."
I responded "The exemption under Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU applies to personalized services that have been fully performed. Since you acknowledged the order was not finalized, this exemption does not apply to my case."
Now they are demanding $44 in fees to process a refund.
This site is a fraudulent scam.
Go to official government sites for instance for Sri Lanka it will be eta.gov.lk website to apply for visa, unless you are happy to pay 3 or 5 times the cost of per visa. I can accept other service providers offering similar services at a reasonable higher cost of say up to 10% of what the official site is charging, however when providers charge 3-5 times the cost of visa, that is a rip off and price gouging. There are a few of these companies who optimize search and appear on top of sponsored search results. Some may not be scammers but rather price gougers and extremely unethical. Instead look for official government site such as eta.gov.lk and apply direct. Much easier and takes the same amount of time. Always search for the official government site or links provided through smartraveller (in Australia) or the links provided through your airline.
eVisa Legal will top the list when googling the new British pickpocketing travelers like a 3rd world country for a permission slip to visit the former great nation of Sir Winston Churchill and now a sniveling nation run by a Labor government that wants to use everybody else’s money to pay for its failed progressive policies. eVisa legal is a private service that charges $148 for a <$20 document. Instead go to: eta.home office.gov and save.
Scammers, avoid at all cost. the site looks official, the documents look official, but is very expensive and not required
These websites falsely present themselves as official, yet they shamelessly charge outrageously inflated fees — even for visas that are supposed to be completely free. Any complaints receive nothing but useless automated replies, and you will never get real assistance. I have reported the site as fraudulent, yet their ads still appear at the top of search results. They are blatantly scamming people. I strongly warn everyone against using their deceitful and predatory services.
eVISA Legal presents itself in a way that makes it look like an official visa website, which is highly misleading. After I submitted my information and paid, I realized it is not an official government site and that the fee charged was several times higher than the official visa fee.
My application status has remained “processing” with no real updates. I contacted customer support multiple times and received only automated replies. My refund requests were completely ignored.
Due to the misleading website presentation, excessive fees, and lack of customer support, I strongly believe that this service is designed to mislead consumers into thinking they are dealing with an official visa provider.
A fuir....

They asked me to pay 8 times more to apply for the visa to UK and have requirements that are not actually real. Always go to .gov websites of given country and apply there. UK does not send visas in pdf through email!
