I bought 6 box cut tee shirts and 3 other type of shirts from Everlane about 2 years ago. Recently, one of the cotton tee developed a hole in the front. I 68 years old. I have bought many, many, many cotton tee shirts in the past. I still have many of them. None of them have developed a hole, out of the blue, like this. I have read reviews of other customers saying their shirts developed holes. I wanted to report this but Everlane does NOT give a place to report this on their website. Just another example of a sub-par business selling and not giving a hoot about anything but profit. Oh yeah.... but we are led to believe they are "caring?" because of their ethically stated practices? How California.
I would have given them zero if I can. I buy clothes from different brands and have never faced an issue even with final sale. It was my first time ordering from Everlane. I ordered a pant in length short and even read the reviews with people my height to check if the length fits. But when I received the item it is way too long and not how it was in the pictures nor on the model. I tried to contact Everlane to check if there is any possibility of returning the item and they said I can give it to my friends or sell on Poshmark where they get the highest return. Seriously?! Never ordering from here again, they don’t even have a store near by.
I have heard that it's almost impossible to make a return to Everlane but I can't comment on that.
I just wanted to share my experience - I purchased a shirt after I saw it worn on an American TV show.
The item was delivered today and I can't fault its quality, it is exactly as described on the website, well cut and in a nice thick fabric.
The delivery partner was DHL and, while it took a long time, I was able to follow the parcel journey throughout the last 2 weeks through the tracking link.
I would re-order from them.
UPDATE: I did hear from Everlane after posting my negative customer review. They did resolve my return to my satisfaction. They thanked me for feedback and I do hope they resolve their (lack of adequate) customer service problem, because I like everything else about this company and want to see them do well.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Customer support nearly non-existent. I used Paypal to purchase something I want to return. I never got an email or anything FROM EVERLANE, with an order number that would have been helpful if I needed to do a return. Result: Impossible to do a return without an order number. Could not raise Everlane to get a response--tried email and Instagram.
Going to send item back without prior authorization. Will probably never get my money back

If I had read the review about this brand before, I would have never ordered or bought anything from them. I was looking for specific jeans for petite and ethically made, as mentioned on their website.
Well, it took a month to get delivered. The products don't look like the ones on the website. After researching the branch, I learned that this bread is not clear about ethics, gives back work conditions to his employees and is racist. I am very disappointed. Also, I struggled to use the refund option, the page glitched.
After leaving this feedback I was contacted by customer service. They took the time to answer and give more detail about the delay and proposed a label to send back the products and be refund.
I send the items back today and will see how it goes but I am finding the customer service pretty good.
Update 2: I have finally received my order and it’s the wrong size, wrong color, and wrong length. The whole purchase experience has been nothing but frustrating and negative. Safe to say that I will not shop at this incompetent company ever again.
Update: a manager reached out to me via email upon reading my review on trustpilot and resolved the issue I was having. Very happy that it was resolved quickly with just a couple of emails but wish it would’ve been rectified by contacting the customer service team in the first place. Will do another update once the product I ordered is received.
It’s impossible to get customer service. They will initially email you back but after further explaining your issue, they will completely disappear. I had a Micah and a Nilyn just completely disappear on me without providing a solution to my problem. There isn’t a phone number to reach their customer service team so I wasn’t able to speak to a manager or just anyone. Worst cs ever. My issue with applying a discount code that was emailed to me was never resolved.
No refund for my item returned 2 months ago. No replies to multiple emails trying to get refund.
This was my first Everlane purchase. I ordered 4 pairs of jeans, then received a confirmation email saying it would be shipping soon… but then a couple of days later, I receive an email saying they cancelled my order with no reason why. The item was still in stock online and they already charged me. What gives?
So, I reach out to customer service, and they just blame a “glitch” in their warehouse system, and that I’d have to reorder and repay… but they hadn’t even refunded me yet. Then I look online and see a TON of bad reviews where they blame “glitches” for every poor customer service issue, including price discrepancies on their website. Won’t be ordering from Everlane again. Horrible way to handle order issues, especially with first time customers. A couple of days later, I did receive my full refund though.
Returned item 17th May and was first tracked 20th May.
Received at hub 9th June and still no refund or any contact since the 9th June.
Have sent an email and no reply.

Inexperienced, inefficient and simply unhelpful customer service. I'm trying to arrange a return (which I'm being charged for) and am unable to do so due to issues with their returns portal, but am being re-directed and met with generic responses shirking any responsibility.
For an e-commerce company only the fact that they can tell me they will NOT take a return on an item which did not meet my expectations in any way shape of form regardless of the fact that they may have marked it as a final sale means i will never be returning as a buyer to them.
Furthermore believe it or not their customer support rep told me i can sell the item on Poshmark, seriously? Am i reseller for you guys? The product i bought was of a horrible fit and the material was way too thick, so i could care less about your final sale notation if the item is not something i would have purchased had I been able to hold and feel it. How they can retain customers in the long run is questionable. I would say stay away.
I have been a longtime customer of Everlane and always received good service. Its easy to make returns and they even replaced a pair of jeans for me that split after I’d owned them for months. Their shoes are really high quality and I love their cashmere prices.
I’m surprised to see such a poor rating for Everlane on here! I have been ordering clothes from them for years and have never had any issue. Their customer support always responds quickly (they even have an option for you to chat with them via text) and I’ve never had an issue getting a refund (they do Happy Returns now which are so fast and easy and Everlane refunds almost immediately after you drop the item off). There are plenty of other companies I don’t order from online because you either have to pay for returns, or your refund takes forever, but Everlane is one of the good ones!
Not to mention, every item of clothing I’ve chosen to keep has been put through the wringer and has held up nicely. Would give them 10 stars if I could.
I ordered a sweater that was scheduled to ship in a few weeks. I got my order confirmation and heard nothing else from Everlane. Three weeks after the scheduled ship date, I reached out to customer service to see what was going on with my order. Apparently they “couldn’t confirm my billing information” so they cancelled my order without bothering to call, send an email, etc. They also “placed a hold on my account” which matters not at all since I certainly don’t plan to order anything from them ever again. Really poor customer service!!

Was really nervous about buying from Everlane after reading some of the reviews on here, but it was absolutely fine! My item arrived early, fits perfectly and looks high quality.
This is a great place to buy staple wardrobe pieces. Specifically jeans. The quality is great. I recently bought a pair of jeans and some shorts from them and they didn't fit right. They allowed me to exchange the jeans for a bigger size and return the shorts and I didn't even have to pay return shipping. I love that they use more eco friendly packaging and practices.
Last year I bought a coat which was well made. Based on that this year I bought some shoes.
The size was too small and the quality was very poor for what I paid for them. I returned the items a month ago and have not received a refund despite chasing several times in with no response.
Will not be purchasing anything from them in future.
