The program I used to use for creating photo presentations was bought and changed and the interface was complicated. I started searching for something easy and intuitive. I lost my sister and I didn't want to spend a whole day figuring out how to use a piece of software. Eulogize offered me a simple, intuitive interface, easy to upload and move photos, very straightforward. A solid offering of templates and themes, it was just a great solution and exactly what I was looking for during a period when I am grieving.

I searched the web high and low for a user-friendly, easy-to-use application that wasn't overrun with AI bullsh*t to create a memorial video for my grandmother's funeral and came across Eulogize memorials.
I originally started on my phone and was able to create an account and upload all my photos, which was great since everyone had sent the photos they wanted to my phone. I then logged on to my account on my laptop and was able to quickly choose a cover slide and customize everything to my liking and add my own music.
With beginning this process on my phone there were not any ads or info panels stating the prices that came with utilizing anything created on this site. I finished my video, got ready to download it and was shocked by the prices and packages offered, and not in a good way. $100 for the full package for everything, and $70 for just a video download and a welcome page (all I needed was a video)!! I immediately went back to searching online for another app to use that was not price raping folks in their time of grief and desperation!!!!! After three hours of attempting to recreate another memorial video on other sites, I cried and folded. I came to terms with the price, paid the $70.00 and downloaded my video and even decided it wasn't so bad due to the site being easier-to-use than most others for someone who does not do this often.
My issue is that after paying for my video, it LOCKS your video and does not allow you edit/fix issues that aren't noticeable until you watch the downloaded version. It warns you that you will not be able to make changes after downloading, so I double checked spelling, dates, etc. Previewed the video two more times... however, when I downloaded it, the quality was SHIT. My music that played wonderfully during the preview was distorted and was not at all the same as when I previewed it. I ended up creating a profile with Canva and paying for premium access to have canva ai edit and fix the video I paid $70 for! This site is more worried about making sure you can't scam them than they are about your ability to edit/fix a video. SIMPLE SOLUTION: Allow access to edit for a limited amount of time to allow PAYING CUSTOMERS to edit and fix their videos if needed rather than locking them out after the initial download! If it wasn't for the limited access, I would've highly recommended the services to others in need.

I only used the slideshow feature. I was pressed for time and thought I didn't have time to learn how to use a more sophisticated tool like Canva or what my mac has. Big mistake. The website was incredibly slow and cumbersome. It took me an extra day or more longer to get through the project. Editing was incredibly slow, I couldn't change a text box once I'd "saved" it, zoom-in changes were not saved, the drag-and-drop feature for slide order often didn't work until I really toggled things around. Text boxes were also cumbersome. I paid $70 to be slowed down and then have only a huge file to deal with, not a link on a website. That was also frustrating. We hosted ours on Google Drive, which I don't normally use. Also there was only one text slide, for start/end, and I couldn't add text slides. It wasn't worth the money. Also the lack of being able to edit another version once it was downloaded was also a big minus. My advice? If you have more than a few slides, plan ahead a bit and use mac software or Canva or just another website for creating slide shows. This one is overrated.

Eulogize made a difficult process seamless and allowed us to create a video of photos that allowed us to celebrate our loved one. I had a slight technical issue in the download process, but Garreth and the IT team at Eulogize quickly jumped in and made sure I was taken care of quickly and my issue was corrected. Very impressed with this companies customer service and the helpfulness of their team. 1000/10 would recommend!

I was under so much stress due to my Mother's passing. I was initially so excited to use this site for her funeral program. After completing and purchasing the program, it took me over an hour to get the download link to even download to my computer. Once it did finally download, the pages were in the wrong order and it couldn't be edited or fixed. There is no customer service or phone number. Even the online chat does not work. They took my money and I never received the product and there is no way for me to get my money back because they don't answer emails, or online chats. I had to start the process over on another website. Total Scam. Beware.

Simple to use (even for someone who has limited technology/design skills). Extremely cost effective. Excellent response time, when help was required. Could not recommend Eulogise highly enough – what a wonderful solution. They’ve done all the thinking for their customers. Creating the video tribute ourselves with family and friends contributing was a positive experience (at an emotional time) and delivered a very professional video tribute for the service. Fantastic, easy to use site to prepare memorial video, combine photos with music and download an mp4 for my mother's funeral. There was an immediate response to questions and help with any issues. Thanks Garreth for going the extra mile, late at night to help me out with editing.
