The true measure of a company is how they react when there’s a problem and Equafleece were absolutely brilliant. I ordered a coat from them on Friday afternoon and it arrived on the following Monday. Amazing service. Unfortunately the coat didn’t quite fit so we had to organise a return. I posted it back on Tuesday and my replacement coat has been dispatched today, Wednesday. So it will probably be here tomorrow. Of course Royal Mail, though often maligned, also deserves some of the credit for this excellent service level too but Equafleece were equally prompt dispatching a replacement item as they were sending the original item which isn’t the case with all companies. This is the third dog we have bought an Equafleece coat for and I know already the quality of the coats. They are superb and keep your dog both warm and dry. They are waterproof without any proofing so there’s no need to re proof the coat after you’ve washed it. They are brilliant! Equafleece 🙏

I’ve just placed my second order with Equafleece. The products are great, and the customer service is out of this world! I emailed with a photo of my dog wearing his current suit to check whether they thought the size was right if I was going to order one with a zip. I got a reply within half an hour.
Both online and over the phone, I was told that I could have a zip added to the product I already owned and have been using for a year - which I will do to have a spare - but that level of proactivity and helpfulness is really unusual and wonderful.

The customer service from Equafleece was exemplary, my enquiry regarding sizing answered quickly and my subsequent order arrived 24 hours later. Amazing service and the coat I ordered for my French bulldog fits perfectly and is both waterproof and warm.

The team knew that MTs (Manchester-Terriers) 'normally' have a small waist and large chest and need lots of ability to run at full speed So they recommend their Jumper and not the full suit,
It is perfect, well made with great material

This company is great. I bought two sun T-shirts for my Chinese Crested. They came extremely quickly and when I was worried about sizing, they responded almost immediately. I did not need to return them, as they did in fact, fit very well. The garments are well made, good material and a fair price. They come in lovely colours too. I’d definitely recommend.

I called Equafleece to get some advice on sizing before ordering my dog his first jumper. I spoke to Abbey, who was amazing and was able to assist me straight away. Abbey showed me how to navigate the website easily and made ordering very simple. great customer service !!

Emailed equafleece on how to repair a badly ripped 4 legged coat and they gave me advice that I could just stitch it, or they would send me a patch or for (only) £5 they would repair it for me. I duly sent the coat for repair and it arrived back expertly repaired. I cannot fault the customer service from equafleece and must commend them on their repair service.

Been buying from Equafleece for a number of years. Never been disappointed. Most helpful staff too.
My latest purchase has been no different. Our new boy is a rescue and an unusual shape. Once again the lady was lovely.
Two days later the coat arrived with a great pull toy made from the same material as the coat.

I followed the website's instructions on measuring my dog. The result was that the size could not be calculated and to send an email or telephone for advice. I did phone, talked through the measurements and re-checked some. I was then advised what size to buy. The 'Tankie' arrived and was too short but baggy around his middle. I phoned again as the delivery note advised to be told I could return the item for an alteration (cost £6 + my return p&p) or swap for a different size. I said I was not happy with having to pay return postage as I had followed the advice of the member of staff to no avail. I decided to return the item for a refund of £35 and had to pay £3.75 postage. The website gives the impression that their items are made to fit your individual dog - this isn't so and so I am out of pocket and have no 'coat' for my dog. It's a shame as I have seen their products on other dogs and they are lovely

Just invested in a summer suit. I queried the size prior to purchase on Tues, email reply almost immediately and the suit arrived on Friday. The summer suit is very stretchy and so easy to put on, lovely quality .

I am beyond frustrated with this company—this is the final straw. For the second time now, I contacted them *before* placing an order, specifically asking for advice on what size to purchase. Despite their recommendations, the item arrived and was far too big. While that alone is frustrating, it’s their complete lack of ownership or accountability when I attempt to return the product that’s utterly unacceptable. Instead, they make me pay the return shipping fees, all because their staff or company don’t even understand the sizing of their own products. This is absurd, and I will never be purchasing anything from them again.

It’s utterly unacceptable that you charge for returns, especially given that we’ve already purchased another item in what was supposed to be the 'correct' size. Your representative specifically advised us on what to buy, so the responsibility for this mistake lies squarely with you. It is your obligation to cover the return costs when your guidance fails so spectacularly.

The fact that you’re now asking for measurements—after demonstrating a complete inability to handle sizing properly—is both laughable and insulting. Your response amounts to nothing more than empty excuses designed to justify appalling service. This experience has left me thoroughly disgusted.

Update: Sammi D reached out to me! Unfortunately, it was just to ramble on about her measurements guide and how her drones supposedly interpret it. She still went on to defend the abysmal service and had the audacity to reiterate the return fees. Honestly, you couldn’t make it up! 🤣

Sammi D continues to email defending her stance, offering a free return but with no apology or acknowledgment of the issue. This company cannot be trusted—whether it's their sizes, their advice, or their overall approach. Their customer service is appalling

I highly recommend this company. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I purchased an Equafleece for my dog last year, unfortunately she developed arthritis in one of her front paws and it was painful when I tried to put the fleece on/take it off her. I telephoned to ask if I could have a zip inserted and was assured I could. From phone call, to sending off the Equafleece, to me receiving it back, was less than a week. Excellent service, thank you.

You will not regret a purchase from this company. Firstly the staff are amazing, kind and patient. Will ensure you have all the help you need to get a correct fit. The quality is fabulous. I have washed and tumble dried the dog jumpers and come up like new every time. I have used this company more than 10 x treated perfectly every time. I made a sizing error. Not an issue refunded immediately. I know times are difficult but worth every penny.

I had high hopes for the Equafleece coat for my Golden Retriever, especially after paying over £50 for it. Unfortunately, it tore on just the third wear—not what you’d expect from a product marketed as durable. Maybe it’s fine for dogs that don’t move much, but if you have an active, bouncy puppy like we do, look elsewhere.

To make matters worse, the customer service was frustrating. We had to send four sets of pictures just to prove the tear, only to be told we wouldn’t get a replacement. Instead, they offered a repair—but with fabric in a different colour! How is that an acceptable solution for a brand that prides itself on quality?

For the price, I expected much better durability and service. Steer clear if you have a playful or energetic dog!

Meine beiden Hunde "Chica" und "Milo" tragen Equafleece-Produkte seit etwa 15 Jahren, und sie sind immer noch in bestem Zustand. Die Qualität ist hervorragend - weich und sehr langlebig. Die Fleece lassen sich wunderbar waschen und behalten ihre Form, auch nach jahrelangem Gebrauch.

Meine Hunde tragen ihre bunten Fleece sehr gerne, nicht nur, weil sie sie warm und trocken halten, sondern auch, weil sie sehr bequem sind. Außerdem ist die Farbauswahl cool - sie sehen zu jeder Jahreszeit bunt und süß aus!

Ich werde oft von anderen Hundebesitzern darauf angesprochen und empfehle Equafleece immer mit bestem Gewissen.

The best dog coats. Comfy, warm, and last for ever. I bought 2 about 10 years ago and they are still good. Sadly the dogs they were for are long gone, but their Equafleeces live on.

I got an Equafleece for Borris, my miniature schnauzer, and I’m so impressed! It’s super warm, soft, and fits him really well—snug but stretchy enough for him to move comfortably. The water-repellent fabric is great for drizzly walks, though I haven’t tested it in heavy rain yet. I only got it yesterday, so I haven’t washed it yet, but the quality is fantastic. You can tell it’s made from proper, long-lasting material, not something that will fall apart after a few washes. The price absolutely reflects the quality, and I can see this lasting for years to come. Worth every penny!

I ordered a dog coat online which arrived 2 days later. Unfortunately slightly too big so returned for exchange. The replacement arrived equally promptly but it was apparent that a zip needed to be added. I spoke to a very helpful lady at Equafleece who suggested that to avoid delay they would modify a third coat from stock so I could just return the second for refund. I was surprised and very pleased to receive a modified coat 2 days later. This is my fourth purchase from this company and I have found their coats easy to put on/remove from my dogs, waterproof, warm but lightweight and not restrictive, easily laundered and very durable.

Amazing customer service. Spoke via email on the Friday to check best size for my dog. Placed the order late afternoon Friday and received the next day.
Love the dog suit!! Keeps my dog dry even after running through wet fields and puddles. Would recommend 😁

I write reviews for only 2 reasons...Awful or Excellent...and regrettably the latter is far more scarce...so thank goodness for Equafleece!
I ordered 2 Dog Suits for my Cavapoos...one didn't fit, but that probably had just as much to do with my measuring.
The speed with which they replaced it was awesome, helped by prompt and personal communication.
Great quality items, with excellent attention to detail when it comes to customer service. Get those 2 things right equals a happy customer.
