The battery does not fix securely. It rattles about and when you tip the motor up to come onto a beach etc it shoots forward. This is normal according to Epropulsion after I sent them a video etc. So, the battery has about 2" movement up and down, it won't fall off the engine but it falls forward when tipped up and at 8kg it's going to eventually damage the motor housing and fall off. Everything is plastic so this is inevitable. Because Epropulsion are not interested to solve this i won't be buying another and would like people to know this problem. Apart from the battery issue the actual engine and performance is brilliant.

Daar ben ik zo goed behandeld en is mij een geweldige deal voorgesteld.
Zeer tevreden !!!
Nu had ik na 16 jaar gebruik een probleempje met de pomp.
Wederom naar Belgie gereden en weer een goede deal kunnen sluiten.
Zeer tevreden over dit bedrijf !!

I bought a new pontoon boat two years ago and had it powered with an epropulsion navy 6. The system was a problem from the outset. The controller kicked out error messages on a regular basis and the system crashed. Going through a restart would get it back up but would crash again when powering. The system completely shut down one day and I sent the boat back to the dealer. They said that there was a problem with the batteries- this took two months to address. On the the next season, boat goes into the water and works great for about two months and then shuts down again. Back to the dealer. They cannot figure out the problem and the distributor, Mack Boring, took another three months to state that the batteries were shot due to a water incursion. Another season down the tubes. Mack Boring made the gracious offer to allow me ten percent off a new system- that is it! This is the worst boat purchase experience that I have ever had and strongly regret the purchase of the epropulsion navy.

This system is not ready for prime time and neither the manufacturer nor the distributor stand by their product.

Stay away from this.

Schlechteste Firma weit und breit, egal was auf diese Bewertung ggf. geantwortet wird, es wird eine Lüge sein. Das Unternehmen vertreibt u. a. Akkus und Motoren für das Model epropulsion spirit 1.0 plus. Der Akku hat eine interne Steuerung, der einen vollen Akku nach 20 Tagen auf 70% der Lagung selbstständig entleert und wenn die Akkuladung unter 65 % sinkt, geht dieser in einen Hard Lock und man kann ihn ohne teure Einsendung selbst nicht mehr laden. Das Unternehmen weiß über diesen (bestimmt als Anschlussgeschäft gewollten) Konstruktionsfehler bescheid und ändert nichts an dieser Situation. Wenn man nicht alle drei Monate eine Vollladung durchführt mit dem Akku, ist der Akku fritte. Ich habe vor wenigen Monaten über 1000 Euro für einen neuen Akku gezahlt und jetzt wird mir signalisiert, dass nach vier Monaten ggf. der Akku tiefenendladen sein könnte. Lachhaft, denn wenn sie nicht selbst eine automatisierte hardwareangestoßene Entladung herbeiführen würden, gäbe es dieses Problem nicht. Hier wird abgezockt und wenn man erst betroffen ist und im Internet danach sucht, sieht man erst, dass man nicht der Einzige ist, der hier die selben Erfahrungen gemacht hat. Ein Stern ist noch zu viel.

I used the motor one time for about 20 minutes. Now the display screen says Error30. The manual lists steps to recalibrate but the steps listed do not match the prompts on the display screen. The dealer (Tiny Boat Nation has not returned my call or my emails.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went to their local dealer and dropped $6500 on a Navy 3 motor, E-60 Battery, solar charger and side mount control. The equipment arrived at the dealer a week later but they ordered the wrong charger (an AC one, not solar). That's when the excuses started. Over 2.5 months and a half dozen different excuses later the dealer still hadn't even ordered all the parts or scheduled the work. When I contacted EPropulsion to try to get some assistance NO ONE FROM EPROPULSION EVER RESPONDED even though I'd dropped an awful lot of $. In the end I had to put a stop payment on the credit card payment and get help from the cops to retrieve my boat from their dealer even though he was the one who owed me $. I actually contacted another EPropulsion dealer in the area where I used to live and he told me that EPropulsion had said not to do business with me even though I was the one who had gotten ripped off by one of their dealers.....
