Impossible to contact. They never answer the phone or call you back. Replies to these messages to say to call 0333 014 2046 to speak to the complaints department are A WAIST OF TIME. THEY DO NOT ANSWER

This company could improve by answering calls. 4 days I have been trying to speak to someone. I'm sure these calls will be costing me. I'm in arrears and needing help .they would be quick enough to take my house of me..Kensington was a far superior company. .get you act together engage credit

I agree with the other reviews on this thread. It is completely impossible to get hold of anyone in this credit company, I called the customer service line Monday and wait 2hrs to be disconnected. I tried again today and waited over 1.5hr and was disconnected. I tried to option of getting a call back, still waiting for that call. There is no option to email them either as the website explains. Not a very professional or creditable company if they just take your money and cannot be contacted ever again.

Was totally happy with kensington I have terrible trouble paying on line it says not expecting 18 times tried ringing them asked for banking details to set up a direct debit and still not got I wouldn't have chosen this company why didn't I get a choice

This company is a joke, 12 phone calls requesting a statement on our mortgage and the balance of capital after an overpayment of £1500, to be told this was in credit and nothing taken off the capital, after a wait time of 3 hours over 2 phone calls finaly got through, asked why we hadn't been sent a statement, answer: postal strike? What since October, what is the outstanding capital, great they had taken the credit off the capital; but not backdated to when the payments were made, adding the saving of £400 back on to the capital. Lost patients with this company, now seeking legal action and reporting to FCA & ombudsman. Avoid - cowboys.

They lie about sending your letters.
Very unhelpful and patronising.

Tried to call Engage Credit. Yesterday it took me more than hour to reach them. Today I was at queue for more than 3 hours until my patience run out and I hung up. Ironically during the last hour automated voice kept telling me that current waiting time is less than 5 minutes. Probably everybody is watching football.

To give a little balance to the many negative reviews I want to recognise the outstanding customer service provided by Tracy. I rang with an urgent request for a document to enable me to complete on a property purchase. My solicitor only told me this was required the previous day. Yes, it did take a long time to get through on the phone but once connected to Tracy she understood exactly what was required and turned it around for me within 24 hours even though the standard time for this request is 3 working days. She called me back exactly when she said she would and confirmed the document had been faxed to my solicitor. Without her amazing efforts I wouldn't have been able to complete on time. Immensely grateful to her. Thank you!
This company is an joke !!! I have tried contacting them on about 8 different occasions. They are sending letters out saying I haven’t made payment but I clearly have … this has happened on 2 different occasions. Run!!!!!

Absolutely shocking company. I would NEVER do any business with them again. Paid off our mortgage 2 weeks ago & only yesterday after we had rung 7 times did they confirm receipt of our payment of over £300,000-prior to that they told us our payment had not been received! The whole fiasco has been incredibly distressing. Takes 45 mins to get through on the phone, not possible to email or fax. Promised 2 return calls, which did not happen. The number they provide in their replies below is the 45 min wait no & it is not possible to speak to Complaints directly. Perhaps someone very senior would have the courtesy to contact me as there are still serious issues outstanding.
I am referring them to the Financial Services Authority.
Further Comment (19th Jan 2023): I see they have taken nearly 3 months to reply to my post above-thats how shocking their practices are. I am certainly not wasting yet another 45 mins ringing the same number below! Dont ever deal with this company!

Attempting to make my usual mortgage payment via the portal and unable to do so. Account well up to date as always and finding this quite distressing. NEVER had a problem when this company was Kensington and always had access to my account and payments made. Very much an inconvenience and far from happy. Appalling service! Systems in very desperate need of an update.

I wish I had known about this company when Kensington mortgages decided to hand us over to them. Our mortgage has gone up over £600 at a now 8.14% .. we r selling and to try and get a redemption statement for our completion date is unbelievable.. is this company so unprofessional that they can’t work it out???? And to top it all they have no email… I mean it’s 2022 and they can only send faxes to companies that no longer have these outdated machines… word of advice don’t use this company

Tried Writing, ringing, Email, can't get through, Please note I do not have a Mortgage with them, but the Mortgage Company I'm with disappeared, the Famous SMPL Mortgage Company, linked to Kensington Mortgage Company, all so do not take Calls or Reply to Emails.

We asked for a redemption figure for our two mortgages,we paid them off 8weeks ago and apparently after waiting over an hour on the phone the mortgages are still in the process of being sorted out. The story changes every time you speak to someone else.Thank God we have nothing more to do with this awful company and its useless representatives.

This company is an absolute joke - avoid like the plague. After waiting over 30 mins to get through and the pathetic security questions they ask only to be told you're in breach of data protection!!! Only trying to amend my address details as living in Wales I also have address is UAS according to them!!! It's also not right that you do not have access to check your own account balance. Customer service is absolutely shocking the staff are like robots.
