I bought an emergency lantern and usb power bank. After testing it and finding it working I stored it without batteries. 6 months later I tested it and found it not working.
I contacted energizer thinking it would be sorted quickly. They are a longstanding well regarded company after all.
After a few emails of them asking me various questions, copy of purchase invoice and photo's and what factory the item was made in (how on earth is a customer supposed to know that?).
They offered to refund me less than I had paid... I realised they were offering me what I paid minus the VAT!
Appalling. No idea of customer service, british consumer legislation and absolutely no class.

I share the review below. Just over a year, used maybe 4 times, with difficulty, new batteries and a constant red flashing light on the battery charger which cost £30.00.
Very disappointed
Like previous reviews, I bought an expensive power bank which worked fine for a year then won't charge. Unfortunately by the time I'd found my online purchase receipt it was over 1 year old and customer service refused to budge staying clearly that the item was out of warranty.
Terrible customer service and poor quality product......I won't be going near them again!

The item states it last on full light for 4hours.Took dog a walk after about 30 mins flat recharged when I got home samething happened.Contacted there Customer service team cos its older than 30 days guarantee expired what a load of rubbish.Would not purchase anything again of these if I read these reviews would of saved myself some money 😑

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I used to have Duracell Alkaline AA and AAA batteries in all my devices but after a couple of leaks and damaged equipment switched to Energizer Ultimate Lithium (at great expense) 8 months ago to avoid leaks – they advertise 100 % leakproof. To be fair to Duracell they never quibbled when I submitted a claim and compensated me more than I expected. However, the hassle of sourcing, sometimes older, replacement devices was becoming too much.
After changing to Energizer Ultimate Lithium I have had batteries in 4 devices (2 table clocks, a TV remote and a blood pressure monitor) fail prematurely. Correspondence with Energizer Customer Service has not been the same as Duracell and each claim has taken almost a dozen e-mails with the feeling from my end being that Energizer Customer Service seems to view their job is to deny each claim.
Latest claim with Energizer Customer Service for the batteries in a blood pressure monitor, which is the back up for a sister BP monitor (which works well with Ultimate Lithium installed) and thus is not used much, is that they respond that the Manufacturer recommends Alkaline batteries and thus I should not be using Energizer Ultimate Lithium in this device. In actuality the Manufacturers of all my devices recommend, or mention, Alkaline batteries as a matter of course in their Manuals and thus what this Customer Service agent is saying is do not use Energizer Ultimate Lithium in any devices.
Checking Energizer Ultimate Lithium Product Manual and Sales Information there is no caution about using these batteries in any type of device and this Energizer Sales and Customer Service do not seem to be communicating.
Be warned accordingly.
UE8001M battery pack lasted a year…
UE8001M battery pack lasted a year after only a handful of charges.
The pack is like new but won't charge.
They should last longer then a year just as the warranty runs out.
My other brands of battery packs are still going strong.

Diversi mesi fa, dopo una cervellotica procedura di registrazione, ho avuto la malsana idea di partecipare alla promo Energizer Sing 2, nella quale a fronte di codici a barre e scontrini (regolarmente allegati) si sarebbero dovuti ricevere altrettanti peluche Sing 2. Ebbene, malgrado innumerevoli solleciti email al Servizio Clienti, la costante e logorroica risposta è stata "stiamo controllando". Un'azienda multinazionale che prende tempo per inviarti due peluche (peraltro spettanti da loro stesso regolamento) non appare a mio avviso credibile e sensibile alla propria clientela.
Very POOR customer service!
I purchased some "Energizer ULTIMATE LITHIUM" batteries with an expiry date of 12-2040. The batteries leaked in my device after just over five months, normally standard alkaline batteries last over two years in this device without fault. So to get less than six months from their flagship "ULTIMATE LITHIUM" batteries is pretty abysmal. Contacted the company via their "Contact us" page to give feedback but got zero reply. Very POOR customer service!
I will update this review if I ever get a reply?
Counterfeit Products?
Avoid this company or their products. I contacted them about some batteries I had bought which I suspected were counterfeit, they never bothered to reply, so they are obviously not bothered about counterfeits. I'm not taking the risk again and will now ALWAYS choose a different brand.

Rubbish product not built to last, and certainly not cost effective. Have probably used less than a dozen times.
No power. Specialised screws on back of defective product so no access. What appears to be a power locked screw in plug will not grant access to check on fuse. Will have to buy another (non-Energizer product) to make good on battery outlay.

I will not buy another Energizer product as they don't seem to care about the quality of their branded products, or deal with issues in a responsible manner.
