However my real problem with your company is how misleading your whole advertising is.

Firstly the goods that were sent were very shoddy and certainly not worth the money I paid for them, which leads me to believe the biggest portion of the cost was the shipping.

It’s also, in my opinion,deceitful
using the name Emery LONDON, leading customers to assume this is an English company and good are despatched from London.
Nowhere in your advertising does it mention China and that is where the goods are despatched from.

As I’ve already mentioned, I believe most of the cost of these shoddy items is for the shipping. Absolutely nowhere is the customer warned, before ordering, that if they are not satisfied with the goods they have to return them to China, that this could take several weeks and it could also be several weeks after that, before any outstanding money would be repaid.
I’m assuming that you’re hoping that by this time the customer will have forgotten about it.

Your offer of 20% refund is quite frankly unacceptable and why would I want a credit against any future orders because rest assured I will not be using your company again

If I could give zero stars then I would give zero stars.
I ordered a ceiling light a month ago & it’s just arrived.
It is nothing like the item I ordered ….the wrong colour & the materials were so cheap & flimsy & the top & bottom
Won’t even fit together.
I wish that I had read Trustpilot reviews beforehand

After a lengthy wait the product from Emery arrived but proved to be unsuitable. Returning the item proved to be well nigh impossible and eventually a mere 20% of the original price was refunded. This company masquerades as a London company but its main base is actually from China. Definitely to be avoided!

Purchased a black/beige dress in May, arrived 15 days later, which raised a red flag (long time for delivery from London), very poor quality and certainly not worth £39.95. Emailed company twice, best they could offer was £9.99 refund and to keep the dress. Contacted Cnsumer Rights Scotland, advised to contact my bank for chargeback, which I'm currently doing.

Wouldn’t give any stars if that was possible. Dreadful experience. Ordered what I thought was a beautiful purple dress. When it eventually arrived (absolutely crushed in a tiny bag) it bore no resemblance to the garment on the website. It was shorter, a completely different fabric and frankly I wouldn’t use it as a duster. Emailed to complain and was offered no option to return and a 25% refund. Emailed to say this was unacceptable and despite writing several additional emails I have heard nothing. Furious.

STAY AWAY……I ordered 2 dresses the same but 2 different sizes. Neither fit as were at least 3 sizes smaller than advertised. Tried to return and get refunded but what a chew on! Tricky to find a returns completion. Had to email, finally got a reply stating it wasn’t feasible to return so got offered 5%!! I’m now stuck with 2 very low quality garments that cost me £71!!!! Please don’t use🤬🤬

SCAM COMPANY BASED IN CHINA

Beware the Company's marketing and website suggesting it is London/UK based. It will require your returns to be made to China. This is not apparent from the website and only becomes clear when you ask for the return address. The company will then offer you a series of 'resolution' offers of 30%, 40% and 50% of the value of your order, leaving you with rubbish goods and out of pocket. AVOID.

Shoes arrived wrong size. Refused to refund me. Got in contact repeatedly and they kept offering me new shoes. They didn’t fasten and were scratched as well as wrong size. Absolutely a scam site.

Terrible experience with this company. Ordered a dress which took 2 weeks to arrive. When it did arrive it was very poorly made and bad quality. The sleeves don’t sit right and doesn’t resemble the fit of the dress on the website. I have emailed the company twice with photos and details of my complaint asking for a refund and asking how to return the dress. I have received no reply to either email. I have since received a message on Facebook asking if I have had issues with this company. Please don’t buy from this company.

Don't even deserve 1 star!! This company just rip people off. Dress came damaged. Contacted them to ask how to return. They replied offering me a £4 refund and for me to keep the dress. I replied saying I wanted to return for full refund because it was damaged. They have ignored every email since.

Material of dress was stated as chiffon, it was not. It was a cheap synthetic, stretchy material (obviously a copy) The site says easy returns, 30 day money back guarantee. That has not been the case, after being offered 10% cash back, then 20%, they finally gave me an address in Dartford to return the item by tracked post. It did this and today heard that the parcel was undelivered as the address was incorrect. I am now going to my Bank for help. Wish I had seen these reviews. They do say if a deal looks too good, there is a reason, which I found out too late. I hope you don't get caught out like me. Please avoid.

This is fake company. They falsely claim to be operating out of London and refuse to accept refunds despite this being clearly stated on their website. I bought shoes and they don’t do up so unusable. I am going to try to follow up with Consumer Rights.

Absolutely terrible! Avoid -the dress was nothing like the picture and could not get a refund. They asked to post back and it was £20 for a return to china!

I brought a purple dress from Emery London it looked absolutely lovely on the website but the one I got was not the same, the colour was the same but the fit of the dress was not, I read the measurements and got the one that would fit me and it was too big... the material is not as the website video it just doesn't flow the same and is more stiff, the dress was £35 down from £79 and am disappointed that I have paid £35 to be honest, I just didn't realise until too late that this is just another cheep Chinese site that lies in the pics and videos

The Mary-Jane shoes I bought took about 4 weeks to arrive to the point I assumed I had been scammed. However when the shoes did arrive I have to say they are better than I expected and I wish to counter my 1 star review. Maybe we are too used to quick delivery of goods, but also the company should say may take over 4 weeks for delivery if this is the case

SCAM COMPANY! Emery London Ltd was dissolved by Companies House in 2023. This appears to be a phantom company set up in its wake. I recommend contacting your bank (even if you paid by Debit Card) as they may be able to help. Also worth taking their advice on what to say/what not to say in any email to the company.

Following my earlier review my credit card company managed to get my money back using their chargeback process, so don't give up!

Company is a scam. Avoid. Please read the other reviews before ordering. The quality is awful and nothing like advertised. When challenged, they only offered a partial refund instead of resolving the issue properly.

This company presents itself as a London-based brand, but that impression feels very misleading. The products are marketed in a way that suggests they are original, high-end or designer items being sold at a significant discount — which naturally makes you want to jump on the offer.

However, the items I received did not reflect that at all. The designs look very similar to those of well-known brands, but the quality and overall feel do not match what is being implied.

The “sale” framing feels particularly misleading — it creates the impression you’re getting a rare, high-value deal on branded products, when in reality that doesn’t seem to be the case.

On top of that, arranging a return has been unnecessarily difficult and delayed, with repeated avoidance of simply providing return instructions.

Overall, this felt deceptive and disappointing. I would strongly advise others to approach with caution.
