Having first booked our tickets as it was advertised as AI GENERATED ELVIS last year for may this year , had a email to say the show would not now be opening till July so they exchanged our tickets for us , we went in July and I can’t say enough of have disappointed we all was it was very very tacky and not what was advertised, from start to finish you was moved around like cattle into different rooms where actors told a story not there faulty but was boring, when it was all over we went into the after party to watch the band but as we walked through they was packing up to go 🤷🏼‍♀️a rip off in the end with rail fare and hotel it cost around £700 wish id saved and gone to Graceland, asked for a refund but said no, would not go again if I was paid .

where do I start? change the name to ‘Elvis regression’ perhaps.
arrived early for a 1pm performance, diner looked great, until I realised it wasn’t. No cooking facilities. Lots of blenders and I assume a microwave to heat tortilla chips.
We perused overpriced merchandise.
Our red tape wristbands were announced, we were on our way. Our photo taken; reason £15 a photo or £25 photo book.
Ushered into a large room, Too much space for the few sticks of furniture, and Childs play kitchen. I see seats, but labels on them assume we can’t use. I want to read the letters on the pin boards . I assume we have time. Then the lights dim, and the ‘show’ starts.
I couldn’t hear very well and hadn’t understood the premise; at the point I realise what Is going on we were ushered to the train.
I don’t know how long it was, as I was just bewildered by it. four actors, in very quick scenes on a moving treadmill. Photos flashing, short film clip of two young boys. At one point an overwhelming smell of toilet cleaner. I have been to Memphis, don’t remember it having a toilet aroma!
I left with the knowledge Sam Bell although a childhood friend, parted ways with Elvis once they went to high school. Sam played football and joined the Airforce (wearing jeans, I think the clothes budget had run out). And Elvis found music, aided by a young gyrating southern belle (mortifying) who could play saxophone. To say it was a blur is an understatement. So admittedly what I took from it, I believe is in no way what they were trying to portray.
I left the train confused , we headed to the Hawaiian Bar. This is where I had enough. Walls adorned with various posters. Curtains on adjacent walls projecting Elvis’s film clips, A tiki decorated bar, and the ultimate insult an Elvis cut out. A CARDBOARD CUT OUT! Nuff said.
Another forgettable linking scene followed, ending with a recording of staff trying to get Elvis out of his dressing room. Doors opened; we ushered past a dressing room set. A total waste, it appeared to be just a filter for ‘68’ come back special stage.
I thought the audience sat around the stage and the band/Elvis were literally ‘centre stage’, here we stand around an actual stage and three big screens. I loved seeing Elvis on the big screen, but at this point I wanted to cry.
Let me give you a little back story of my own. We attended Evolution as a birthday present for my 79-year-old dad. He has been an ardent Elvis fan since the release of King Creole. He would wake me up to watch any televised Elvis film or concert. one I remember being ‘Aloha from Hawaii’ I was approx 7yrs. I remember asking him, was he really a king? This handsome man being streamed to us in the flock wallpapered living room, of our council house in Yorkshire was just beyond belief. We were part of the audience; he was singing to me! I thought the gems on his suit were genuine. The closest I got to jewellery was from a bubble gum machine!
My dad and I had a dream, we were one day going to a concert. When you don’t have much to dream about, it was one hell of a dream. That dream shattered in 77. I will always remember it as the night all my dreams ended, and I ripped up my Elvis fan club pamphlet my dad had given me…I wouldn’t need it anymore. After the miners’ strike, we did make it to Graceland. It was amazing, and memorable.
Not so Elvis evolution. Why couldn’t I enjoy it? Then I realised…because you took my dream …AGAIN! It is unforgivable, not just for me but for every ELVIS FAN, especially my dad!!
The show was so rushed, there was no time to build an emotional attachment for any of the characters, I just didn’t care. Nor did I realise until the end that Sam was a real person. Your portrayal of him is shoddy at best. I couldn’t tell Sam had any true feeling for Elvis, perhaps he did, I don’t know. The sets were cheap and tacky. The show is held together by four unknown actors that did a fantastic job. But I sadly won’t remember them. You advertise this as ‘ A walkthrough immersive experience’. Just going to my bathroom is a walkthrough immersive experience, and smells about the same as your train! I can cook actual food in my diner, and we can all buy a projector, posters, and since covid many of us have a tiki bar!
This show is at best an amateur production, local theatre groups or schools could have done a comparable job at a fee most of us would be happy paying. If you want to haemorrhage money and receive very little, go to the show. Money making scam comes to my mind. Just my opinion.
All Layered reality had to do was give us our dream. At the end of the special you could have dimmed the lights and given us our standing hologram to end the show. That’s it, he didn’t have to dance or sing, just be there. We could then feel we, ‘had seen’ Elvis.

We had a great time! The train sequence with the immersive effects was amazing and the final show with Elvis's performance was wonderful. Everyone was clapping and cheering and a few people next to us had tears in their eyes!

So bad, not as described. Fully seated on hard seats with 3 actors playing random parts, nothing really to do with Elvis. So disappointed, don't go, read the reviews, its that bad!

I was going to write full and detailed review after attending Sat 30th August but not going to waste my time. Bottom line over priced tickets, over priced drinks and they even charge for the cloakroom £2 per coat and £5 for a large bag! Get real please.
For the 2 hours there was 10 minutes at the end of the “68” Special that was close to value for money. The props and themed rooms were like a school art class made them.
Do not waste your money like we did with our 6 friends who all agreed on the value for money and overall lack of experience. Sadly Elvis had left the building before this even started 🤔

I paid £450.00 in October 2024 for six of us to attend in July 2025 for birthday celebrations of three of our party. I am still fighting to get my money refunded and have so far received generic responses via email (eventually) from the company involved - Layered Reality- repeatedly stating that they don’t give refunds as they have given an experience as stated when the tickets went on sale. However in mine and countless others opinions they have not given what was described. There was no hologram of Elvis simply okish actors telling the story of Elvis’ childhood through the eyes of his best friend Sam. The ‘highlight’ was the 68 comeback concert shown on a big screen with 3 musicians playing instruments on the stage in front. I could have watched this at home on YouTube!
The general consensus of people around us saw many leaving in disgust and agreeing how abysmal it was. I intend to contact every consumer group there is and fight for a refund of my hard earned money and would encourage others to do the same. In the meantime Avoid this shambolic mess which is an insult to Elvis’s memory and keep your money in your pocket.

Overpriced rubbish It felt as if it was all just an excuse to get more money out of you. The entrance was the first of 3 bars you go to, the 2nd been the blue Hawaii interval bar and the 3rd was where the embarrassing after show party took place, food and drinks were massively overpriced. The actors who took you through the story were difficult to hear at times, and although it was interesting hearing of Elvis' childhood and beginning, it told us nothing we didn't already know. Overall too much 2nd rate acting and not enough music.

So so so bad! The same 4 actors were forced to run the whole show. Only three rooms to walk round. Couldn’t wait to go! What a pile of turd! 💩 💩 💩

I contacted Layered reality (who put together the show). They said they have received “overwhelmingly positive feedback” from a “majority of our guests.”

Obviously they’ve not looked at TrustPilot or TripAdvosor 🤣

If you go expecting it to be really terrible then you will not be disappointed.
Not really any reference to the late great Elvis for the first hour so we asked how we could leave & were told the next bit was when it gets good… I hope it did improve for those that stayed!
Big note to the production team - maybe get the Elvis songs in from the start!

The show was a massive let down & disappointment.
I agree with all these negative comments on here.
The experience was very amateurish, corny, gimmicky, unprofessional. Too much time spent on poor rate actors talking about Elvis life and not enough of seeing Elvis or his songs. Again I agree with others, that we were sold a fraud experience as it was advertised last year as hologram/AI and we were given a boring third rate acting experience. The company who were responsible for creating this awful experience should be ashamed. How could they present this as a nice and enjoyable customer experience? I was looking forward to an uplifting time packed with Elvis songs , instead of long gaps and waiting times in between set changes. When we moved to the acting room after the interval/bar area, we had a 10 minute wait in silence before the final act was delivered which again was crass entertainment. Why didn't they play Elvis music while we had this wait, instead of just looking at a blank bare stage in silence, with just the other customers blank disappointed faces around the room!!
There was an eerie embarrassed silence as we all vacated the room when the experience came to an abrupt end. I guess we were all awaiting the grand finale which didn't happen!!

What a huge disappointment. As I am a very keen Elvis fan my family thought this would be the ideal birthday present for me. I wished they had saved their money. From start to finish it was extremely poor, a very amateurish performance and nothing like it was advertised. Food and drinks were expensive. We had photos taken as we went in and they were dreadful, so tacky and again expensive. The only part of the experience worth seeing was the final 10 or more minutes with video of Elvis singing and 3 live musicians playing on stage in what was supposed to be a replica of his comeback show.
A total waste of time and money.

Layered Reality the ticketing agents are a terrible company! The show is absolute rubbish, the company will not issue refunds, event the refund insurance I paid for will not pay out the £150 I misleadingly paid because I was grossly miss sold a show that obviously does NOT live up to expectations!!!!

Overall enjoyed the experience with friends of different ages, however I do feel the use of AI was lacking could have used it further for the 68 special show.., then I think they should of brought an Elvis impersonator on, as there are very good ones out there and would have added to the 68 special show, as an Elvis fan,it was good to hear stories of him, and the bars where fun . But room for improvement.

I’m really sorry but this isn’t very good. The first half is very focused on his childhood friend and the 2nd half is available on You Tube. The staging is good but I can’t be any more positive. When we went through to the after show bar the live band literally went off stage before our group (about 50 people) had a chance to sit down. It just summed up the experience. Gutted.

Really enjoyed the 4D train ride, made me feel like i was actually there and the actors were AMAZING! ♡ amazing bars aswell, totally in love with blue Hawaii bar and drink was lush! Then the All shook up bar was lovely too and we stayed for around 30mins only because had to catch train back but could of stayed much much longer!
Deffo recommended for any Elvis fan!

I attended Elvis Evolution after my original June booking was postponed and rescheduled. What was delivered was nothing like what was advertised at the time of sale.

When tickets first went on sale, the show was heavily promoted as featuring a life-sized, AI-powered holographic Elvis, similar to ABBA Voyage. This was the sole reason I booked. The CEO of Layered Reality repeatedly promised an “AI-powered, digital Elvis Presley performing live on stage” in interviews and press releases.

However, when I finally attended, there was no hologram, no AI Elvis, and no immersive performance as promised. Instead, it was a basic stage show with video projections and a small live band. Reviews in the press have echoed exactly the same disappointment, the main advertised attraction simply wasn’t there.

Worse still, when the event was delayed, I was not offered a refund, only a rebooking link. Customers were never properly informed that the original advertised features had been scrapped. This is a serious case of misrepresentation.

The official Elvis Presley Fan Club, connected to Graceland for over 60 years, has even published evidence confirming thousands of complaints about Elvis Evolution being mis-sold.

In short: false advertising, refusal to refund, and a completely different product to what was sold.

I cannot recommend this event to anyone. Fans deserve transparency and honesty, not being misled into paying premium prices for something that was never delivered.

I’ve seen better performances from a 7 year olds school play.

I cannot tell you how disappointing this was. The lead up and hype leading up to this and the promise of never before footage. Amazing technology Ai hologram and the feeling that you were there was non existent . Yes I expect there was a but of technology abd there was one AI moment but that was it. A disgrace to the memory of Elvis.

I have just returned home from Elvis evolution. The experience is Certainly not worth the money charged and only hints of Elvis throughout until the end section when we see more actors and Elvis on a big video screen showing a close up of his face while 3 musicians play along with the music from the 68 special that can be easily found on you tube. The Hawaiian Bar is embarrassing with what can only be described as a shower curtain with a beach scene on it and a cardboard cut out of Elvis for people to have a picture with. Well I guess at this point Elvis was in the building in one form or another! Just another pit stop to fleece people of more cash with drinks costing around £12.50 and only 20 mins to order and drink them! . I took my parents, and for us to have a drink each would have been the best part of £30 or more, let alone if we had drinks in each bar available as the organisers obviously plan. Having booked the tickets back in October 2024 on presale as Christmas gifts, it’s been a long wait for Non Holographic shows as originally suggested at that time. The only live action is performed by actors, very little to do with Elvis but instead his childhood friend Sam????
The acting is on par with school play standard although I guess it’s the best they can do with what Layered Reality has given them to use!
The lady at the end asking for our passes to bring up the unwanted photo taken at the start was rude and as soon as we made it clear we didn’t want it she was very dismissive and showed us out of the experience! all in all a rip off and I did sit a little bored through half of it wondering When we would even see Elvis only mostly to be shown his image in photos projected on a screen type sheet. 😕. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

As an avid Elvis fan of over 50 years as soon as this was advertised on tv I was buzzing and my son gifted me a ticket for my birthday ❤️ It was likened to the ABBA experience with AI and I was thrilled ( I’ve seen abba with the holograms!) I travelled by train with my daughter in her electric wheelchair she uses and first impressions were not very well signed from the station. We thought the diner looked great 50s style and the staff were really friendly. Then we entered the actual experience. In the first room although my daughter had a space I was told to stand as “it’s only just over half an hour” NTW I do suffer with sciatica. It seemed very rushed and more like an AM tram production but I thought it will get better 🤷‍♀️. The second room was a train ride where I sat on a hard wooden pew and was rattled around leaving my sciatica screaming! No basic health and safety pointing out the fire exit doors which were painted black against black background with dry ice all around 🤦🏻‍♀️. Then the Tiki bar where I was served a blue sticky cocktail with half a glass of ice 😉. At the back was an Elvis cardboard cut out with a backdrop resembling a shower curtain ( clamps could be clearly seen). The 68 special felt like anything but and the after party consisted of a bad karaoke singer who kept banging the mic loudly! No dancing, no party spirit just stoic looking fans disappointed and in shock 😮. We finished our drink and rushed to the nearest exit! Interestingly enough there was a leaflet on the table saying if we took a selfie and left a review (obviously a glowing one) you could win a trip to Memphis! So take the glowing reviews with a huge pinch of salt!

I went to Elvis Evolution in London and it was absolutely incredible. The music was outstanding, the acting was filled with raw energy and emotion, and the whole performance was unforgettable. The cast gave their all and created a powerful celebration of Elvis that left me speechless.

What really stood out was the atmosphere every single person around me loved it just as much as I did. You could feel the excitement and joy in the room from start to finish.

That’s why I can’t understand the negative reviews floating around online. They simply don’t reflect the show I saw. To me, those criticisms are completely unjustified. If you’re a true Elvis fan, you’ll appreciate the passion, talent, and respect poured into every performance.

Elvis would have been proud of this cast. I cannot recommend this show highly enough thank you to everyone involved for an experience I’ll never forget.
