We spent a lot of money to see the story of Elvis’ childhood friend Sam Bell who we’d never heard of, and for a show called Elvis Evolution there is remarkably little Elvis for the first hour, just a lot of bad acting - I have seen better produced school plays. The 2nd half is just Elvis on a big screen with a 3 piece live band - all very underwhelming. The after party was no better and we left after about 5 minutes. Save your money and don’t bother with this absolute rubbish It was and appalling experience.

I'd not read any reviews before we went on the 26th September. I didn't know what to expect, except there was not going to be a hologram of Elvis. I had not expectations
And thoroughly enjoyed every minute, I thought the performances were incredible I loved the way the performance was broken in to acts the films and graphics were great .
The 68 special act was tremendous you really felt you were there. My friend and I are super Elvis fans and we both felt we had had a really well performed experience.

This show is a complete waste of time and money. When tickets first went on sale it was billed as a hologram experience

This show is very little to do with Elvis at all. it was hyped as a never seen before, totally new experience, with a hologram when tickets went on sale in October
2024. It is not as advertised. I bought my tickets pre-sale in October 2024. It was delayed and then, without any warning to ticket holders, we were advised to change dates as it was not opening until July. As I believed I was seeing an Al version of Elvis ( a hologram) I changed the date and went in July 2024. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. There was so little Elvis I believe it should not have been sold under his name at all.
Myself, and many many others are fighting to get a refund due to the false advertising and therefore mis
sold tickets.

Awful. A very low grade theatrical performance, not all what was advertised or what we were expecting. £150 wasted, I’m so annoyed, I wish we hadn’t bothered.

If you want to see an incoherent school play then this is for you! Flashing lights with a ghost train smoke machine does not make an experience immersive. Essentially just a number of bars where the drinks are not included. But the biggest issue is there is no Elvis. Get your friends round to your home and stream him on TV it will be much more enjoyable and you may actually get to see Elvis!

We didn’t see Elvis. We didn’t hear Elvis. Instead, we got his childhood friend narrating what sounded like a rejected school essay while actors gamely wrestled with a script so bad it should come with a health warning. Honestly, the poor cast deserve medals for bravery.
The “diner” at the start? Less Heartbreak Hotel, more outpatient clinic. I half expected someone in a white coat to call my name and ask for a urine sample.
The storyline was so tenuous it made conspiracy theories look watertight. At the interval, we decided life was too short. Trouble was—we couldn’t find a way out. Like Elvis himself, the exit had left the building. We had to be escorted to freedom. To be fair, the chap who guided us out was very apologetic, as though he knew he was liberating prisoners of war.
In short: I went in with low expectations. Elvis Evolution managed to limbo-dance right under them and into the basement.

The show was a complete disappointment and easily the worst one I’ve ever paid to see. Schools create better quality performances. Nothing like what was promoted and the quality of the footage was bad and far too much emphasis on his friends character than of the actual music of Elvis… you know the one the show is supposed to be idolising. Think the budget was spent on the bar areas (probably need a drink after that) rather than the performance itself. Not worth your time or money sadly.

Please don’t listen to all the ‘bad’ reviews. If you’re looking for a holographic Elvis then don’t go. If you’re looking for talented performers to run you through the ‘68 comeback special then don’t hesitate.
We were gifted the tickets from our kids and have to say we loved it.
Bear in mind that to see a show anywhere in London you are a minimum of £70 and you would need binoculars!!!
Here you are within metres of the cast and to be fair they are great.
No it’s not Elvis and we didn’t expect it to be, but the way they have done it is nowhere near anything people are moaning about.

Don’t get me wrong, I would most certainly not be paying anything more than a standard ticket as you don’t get much more for the upgrades.
Go for standard tickets, but a couple of dronks and have a great wee night like we did with absolutely no expectations.

Since hearing through media that the experience was not hologrammed as advertised been trying to get my money back ...these pathetic people running this scam of a theatrical show that could not be bothered to let the purchasers know that the show had changed due to their partners walking away and the immersive hologrammed 3d show was demised to a theatrical embarrasment.....
The careless courtesy of their front desk could only say no refunds ....

How that actually were accredited by the Elvis Trust to run this atrocious show with cardboard cutouts and 3rd rate actors singers and overpriced memorabilia is beyond me

This is more poor Am Dram play about Elvis’ childhood than immersive experience. More the Sam Bell show (Elvis’ little known childhood friend). Only saw an Elvis clip just before half time and the rest of the clips you can find on YouTube. Can’t believe they’re charging for this shambles. I want my money back.

Tickets were a present from our children so we went and had fun trying to take the show in positive spirit. Objectively though it was awful. More about some alleged childhood friend than Elvis. The production values and acting talent of a school play. Corners cut on costs most notably as we were only excited to go when they promised the hologram of Elvis. Seems a bit of a fraud in that respect.

It was more like a poor theatre show. Felt sorry for the actors having to try and make this “show “ engaging for an audience who all looked bored and embarrassed by it all.
Our VIP tickets got us, Free cloakroom, a drink on arrival and a cocktail ( with no alcohol in) a programme, photo and cheap poster. Basic ticket prices are £75 so I paid over a hundred quid for the extra vip portion.
Hardly any Elvis except the last segment where a live trio played to a backdrop of the 68 comeback special which any Elvis fan has seen numerous times. Overpriced , overrated and horrendously under performing. A massive disappointment which doesn’t come anywhere near the advertised “spectacular show”

Awful, really nothing else to say other than save your money!

Very disappointed. Bought as an Xmas gift for my partner which we went 20th September not what we expected and expensive considering it was more.like an amateur production with very little Elvis. Having been to.immersive experiences before this was by far the worst.Drinks were expensive too.

Elvis would be turning in his grave at this Sunday school production. The only professional qualities displayed tonight was from the parking attendant who directed us to the venue.

Absolutely awful. Nothing short of amateur dramatics with a couple of old photo reels of Elvis. Should be shut down. £75 a ticket - sure the kids school could have done a better performance.
Any chance they got though & they were upselling a drink. Raging. Wasted birthday gift.

Don't waste your money! Complete rubbish

What a waist of money. They should hired a substitute elvis. It was no way worth the money personally we should get are money back

Went to the Elvis Evolution show Saturday just gone and that's what it was a show. The actors looked like they were having a great time and were very accomplished. Could have been a bit more of Elvis, but overall a very enjoyable two and a half hours spent being entirely entertained.

I really think the concept is not good so not sure if it could be improved.
The first room went on too long with actors talking it was not getting my attention at all I just wanted them to stop. The next part was a so strange with the same actors and then film in the background. The film was really annoying with a story line the fast moving clips. Slow moving couldn't wait for it to end. Seats were uncomfortable.
Next was a very long time in the bar which dragged on finishing with another burst from the actors. I really had no interest in what the were saying. The accents were annoying.
Then it was into the final part another where they used Elvis clips and a small band playing over it. It was standing only so you could dance. Most people were 60 plus .
I couldn't bare this part was so relieved when it was over. Out to the after party, tables needed cleaning and old drinks taken away. The band that was playing were very average and it all came across as shabby. Of course we didn't stay. I was so glad to get away from the whole money grabbing experience and wondered if anyone enjoyed it. All the clips of Elvis are things you would of already seen. The actors felt like they were on a conveyer belt and there dancing was shite. I am so dumbfounded that anyone could come up with this concept and think it was a winner. Lastly an actor came over to us and started chatting crap about Elvis it was painful.
