Have been with EWW for near 3 yrs, due to unforeseen circumstances I had to sell on my Aultmore Hogshead, after a few crosswires Oliver took the reins and sorted things for me in no time at all, top man, would definitely and will invest with EWW again

After many months of difficulties with communication, I spoke to Harry today who was incredibly helpful and managed to sell a whisky barrel and all the finances sorted within a day. The lines of communication today were outstanding and I am very grateful to Harry (and Sophie/ Maisie) for their help.

I’ve been working with Oliver at Elite Wine and Whisky for a few years now and have enjoyed the process of gradually building a portfolio of investments. The fees are reasonable, the service is friendly and personal, and the advice is always based on years of experience. I intend to keep most of my whisky barrels for a relatively long period, but was recently able to sell one of them when I needed some funds and made a healthy return over the two years I’d owned it for. Recommended for anyone thinking of investing in this field.

I was looking for an investment and was interested in Whisky.Oliver and the team were fantastic,explaining every step of the process clearly and professionally. The purchase was so easy and i was so pleased i bought another a few months later. I found myself however needing to sell a cask and Oliver again had everything sorted very quickly. I can’t recommend Elite Wine and Whisky enough. They are well established and have connections in the whisky world that other companies I considered investing with could only dream of (truth be told I haven’t invested in any wines so I can’t speak to that side of things). However that’s really only half the picture. Regardless of potential, any company like this is really only as good as the person handling your account. Investments like these are not generic and a personalised fit is essential to get the most of your investment. Not only that but the perfect balance of foresight and hustle are necessary to make the most of any interest. Harry is absolutely terrific and I wouldn’t want anyone else handling my account ever. Unlike a lot of these reviews that you read, which may be well intentioned but are written by people who have only experienced one part of a transaction, therefore people who are only semi qualified to make an assessment, I have seen the entire process through, from acquisition to sale so I am very well placed to say how good a job Harry did. From sourcing the right casks for me - creating a portfolio I was very excited to have - to dealing with an exit that was earlier than I had hoped and, critically, earlier than I had advised Harry it would be, he excelled himself and despite my putting a fairly unreasonable rush on things, making his job much more difficult than it could have been, he got me a fantastic return. Throughout he was charming, agreeable and reassuring. I will be investing further, on behalf of myself and my daughter and it will be Harry that I will be requesting look after both accounts.

I recently had a situation where I needed to sell one of my casks .
I contacted Cameron at elite wine and whiskey and could not have been more understanding and helpfull .
He arranged the sale within two days ,put me through to Maisie who dealt with the transactions.There was no problem getting my value of the cask for me and sending the money to my account.
This gives me added security and confidence in the company and individuals.As soon as things change in my favour I have no doubt I will be purchasing further casks through Elite with Cameron in the not too distant future.

I purchased a cask via Oliver sometime in 2021, which I completed the sale of today. As a somewhat risk averse investor, I was slightly nervous about Elite Wine and Whiskey and their offer. However, I have just completed the sale of my cask, and in a little over a year, received an extremely decent return on my investment. The sale itself was ever so smooth. Brief delay only due to Oliver being on annual leave. As soon as he returned, I was immediately contacted both via email and on the phone to explain the sale process step by step. My sale process was then formally initiated, with investment plus tax free interest back in my account 3 working days later !!

Spoke with Harry Roberts just over a year ago and started to build a portfolio of casks.
Had a call recently to suggest it was time to sell one. 14 months and 15% profit. Very easy and not at all hard sell. Happily recommend.

I had to say a big thanks to Tyler Miller who has done everything he said he would - I know these are long term investments and circumstances changed as they do - Tyler still managed to get me a profit on a cask of whisky after only a year - I am very grateful and when my circumstances change again I will be grabbing more casks thanks Tyler keep up the good work

Very happy indeed with Harry Roberts’ help. I had to surrender a couple of casks earlier than intended and he was very helpful and efficient.

Investing in any new venture is always daunting, however, Charles and his team made this a wonderful experience.

Throughout the process, Charles was at hand to advise but never imposing or pushing. Nothing was too much or too small for Charles which allowed me to take time and space to make the decision.

Was looking for an investment to park some funds. EW&W was one of the top three but in the end, because of Charles's professional approach, got the win.

He does give necessary facts and figures as and when you do have a question/query in your mind. The best bit I like is NO rushing whatsoever. You invest money to relax and that is what you get while investing with Elite Wine and Whisky.

I approached Elite Wine and Whisky after researching investments in barrels of whisky and was impressed with the potential returns. Charles rang me and he patiently explained the ins and outs of what it means to invest in a barrel and went through different options to suit my budget. I was left to do more research and have a think about the level of commitment I wanted to make and Charles helped me find a barrel that fitted my needs.
